hellpop
http://themarvelexperiencetour.com/ Has anyone gone to this? It's coming to Philadelphia, and I'm curious if it's worth checking out.
Zak Katz
I was told it was really cool. Never made it myself though
Netglow
Sounds cool but very gimmicky. But hey, can't go wrong for 25 bucks!
arnim zola
Read the online reviews and any review type info you can get. It might be a little fun for kids but it was not made for adults. Me and my friends got our money back but lots of people were not so lucky.
hellpop
Thanks for the tip, that's just what I'm looking for.
NerdyTrev
The thing that really discouraged me was the guy saying: "Marvel's most popular heroes!" I doubt I'll get to battle the cosmos along side Adam Warlock...
MisterPL
Looks like Philly will be the last stop instead of the first. http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2015/07/the-marvel-experience-tour-abruptly-canceled/
hellpop
Huh... I wonder if I should go and see if I can raid the gift shop for bargains.
UK Collector
Huh... I wonder if I should go and see if I can raid the gift shop for bargains. Definitely. Do they have any good stuff at the experience?
arnim zola
If toyfare was still around and mego theatre having a strip about the marvel experience, I can totally see a panel with spidey watching the commercial for it and saying "More like the DC experience..." arnim zola
Watching the promo/behind the scenes videos, then reading the long descriptive reviews really makes you feel like you are there... Bored, frustrated, and pissed off. Even the good reviews were still bad. Oversold, disney long lines for 2 minute activities, advertised features not working to the point where they stopped using them and people who paid extra for those features had to argue for their money back. You had to buy a ticket for a time block, you couldn't just show up. And worst of all, Kevin Smith was the voice of modok.
