Cappy Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) Character Options started with Dr Who and I suppose it's still their flagship line, but they are certainly exploring other options. Most recently released, I've discovered the Construct-A-Bugz. Some overview info here: http://newtoybrands.co.uk/construct-a-bugz/construct-a-bugz/ and here: The bugs themselves are "m'eh" to me, but the buggy little CB characters rock. Gonna need an swarm of them. I suspect the line as a whole may die a quick death, but hopefully they'll release some bug men singles or 5-packs. Edited March 10, 2013 by Cappy Quote
AdyCarter Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 CB stuff of the non DW variety is almost always MASSIVELY clearanced over here very quickly. Will make a note of your BugMen love. Quote
Cappy Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Really? Please do, because I'm not seeing any deals from this side of the Atlantic. Quote
AdyCarter Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Yeah I guess with it been a Birtish product we get the deals for once. Recently saw their Army Men and Scooby Doo stuff for ludicrously cheap in my local Not-Walmart Quote
dj87 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Scooby Doo stuff is cool, and the Monsters v Zombies aren't bad. I've got a few Premier League Footballers as well... it is strange having Gareth Bale hang out with the Doctor. ... I'm sure most folks here have no idea what I'm talking about! Quote

I like the idea of the eleventh Doctor and Shaggy being on the fringes of the England squad, dj! Quote
Matty-lad Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Any pics of the Scooby Doo stuff? How's this? http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/scooby-official.jpg http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/character-building-scooby-doo-on-its-way/ Take care, Matty-lad Quote
UK Collector Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 My TRU has a whole CB section, but I'd never seen the Scooby Doo stuff before, just the usual football, Ben 10, Deadly 60 stuff. I quite like the Scooby sets. Quote
boyd Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Yeah, I really like those Scooby-Doo sets as well. I've always loved the monster designs for the original cartoon. Quote
Shanester Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Yeah, I really like those Scooby-Doo sets as well. I've always loved the monster designs for the original cartoon. Me too, but they are really missing some of the more classic monsters like the voodoo tiki guy and the swamp creature. Oh well... Fred's head is HUGE. Quote

UK Collector Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 My local supermarket has the Scooby Doo blind bags at half price for £1 each. I'm tempted to buy 20 or so packs and hope to get a full set. If anyone wants any let me know. I never did see the Monsters packs reduced at any time. Quote
UK Collector Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Tescos. Quite a big one too. Not sure if it's a national deal or not, but let me know if you can't find any and I'll grab some. Quote
UK Collector Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I think CB is all we have tbh. Like everywhere else, Lego rules the roost Quote
