MisterPL Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 A long time ago I told AA and DST that they REALLY needed to make their 2-pack boxes more merchadising friendly by adding images of the product on TOP of the box where the frivilous Minimates logo currently is. That would make the displayers so much easier to sort through and take much better advantage of the limited real estate on that tiny box. Well, apparently they conitinue to ignore my sound design advice, but Target's listening. I've noticed stickers being applied to the box tops listing the contents. Not the nice 4-color headshots from the sides, just a tiny little 1-color strip that fits around the Minimates vanity logo. Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere. I'm old. I think someone has vaguely mentioned it on here, I've yet to see the change myself, pics anyone? Yes I and Zombieboyfeind have mentioned this. It's nothing special so I didn't scan it. The idea is great, pics would have been better as per PLs suggestion. If anything, pics at the top and the Minimates name on the side would have been better imo. I know the Ben Reilly/Sand man set mentions his "Power bladt hand" or something to that effect (yes, they spelled blast wrong too). I "primed the pump" so to speak at one Target by buying up all the left over Invisible Woman/Thing 2 packs. Nothing yet but I'm still hoping.
