I am still hoping for some baddies like Abomination or a classic Sabretooth. Maestro would be cool, but a long shot. What do you think? Shanester Posted June 8, 2006 Author Share Posted June 8, 2006 Thor has almost been guaranteed by the powers that be, but no hints at the wave of release. I guess Loki is the logical 2nd. Iron Spidey would not surprise me. In fact, I would wager a few bucks on him if I were a betting man. I am hoping for baddies, but the DST guys seemed to think that even popular baddies are longshots due to lacking sales on villians. I needs me some Abomination dern-it! Jatta Pake Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 My list is what I expect, not exactly what I want. I think Marvel will push DST to hammer out more Spider-man minimates for the movie. I think hobgoblin is in the movie so he gets a minimate. I'm torn on the MJ/Peter Parker set. I think they could redo these as better figures and I think DST wants to. But we may get something like a JJJameson/Photography Spider-man instead. Mark my words - wave 14 will be Spidey. I am also eating crow because I thought wave 12 would be here yesterday. If that's the case they there wouldn't be a 'Theme' per-say but more like the last few waves. However, if Thor would classify as Avengers, Spidey would classify as Spiderman, my money would be on an X-men 2 pack. IF DST dont get a serious grip on the Marvel line it wont sell and will sink under the weight of DCD... I think we will see a very refreshing 14&15 or the line will tank... T.
