Shogi
Just finished up my Star Trek Movie Crew minimate group! A lot of this is what many others before me have done for years, but I just had to make a robe version of Spock

karamazov80
Wow. Quite the comprehensive set of instructions there! You should sell those, instead of just giving it away for free!
ElGallo21
I agree, I'd buy one. I'd have to buy all the lego pieces to make it myself anyway.

It's the Aliens playset from Treehouse Kids Here's a couple of pics of the playset with some Halo Minimates Even the eggs and aliens seem to be in scale
Hawkeye's Junk
Thanks for sharing, it's a really cool background. I might have find one before the mates hit. Plus my wife is a huge Aliens and would be good surprise for her.

Shogi
Nice work Shogi. How are the arms attached? I cut the mechanical arm attachments off of Deadly Foes Doc, painted them silver and glued them to the back of George McFly's jacket. I've got a picture of the back on the first post
Shogi
Had a spare Mikey so I had to make Tur-fly-tle! Headpiece - New X-Men Cyclops with a LOT of cutting and some epoxy Body - Mikey Spare Arms - Twist Ties and BTTF Radiation GlovesWings - Found an image of just the wings online, shrink it down and glued it to the front and back of a thin piece of plastic, then in keeping with the idea of a homemade costume, I tied the wings to Mikey's belt loops using another twist tie. Shogi
Found an old wave 8 Mr Fantastic at a local toy show and I knew what needed to be done with an old FF costume....you give it to Spidey! The Amazing Bagman / Bag Head Spidey I sculpted on top of a movie Blob headpiece so the bag is removable and sanded off the paint on the ends of the legs, then added some bare feet Edited December 16, 2014 by Shogi
Shogi
Scarlet Spider! I've wanted one of these but with some sculpted pieces. I really only had to paint all the sculpted parts. I'd prefer to use a Scarlet Spider head or Ultimate Spider Woman head, but I don't have access to either of those right now, so Ultimate Spidey head will have to do Head - Ultimate Spidey Body - TRU Daredevil Gauntlets - Cap 2 Black Widow Hoodie - Rocky Belt - New X-Men Cyclops Ankle Pouches - MAX Underwater Rescue Knife sheaths (Cut and painted)
bigvis497
That's pretty cool. Have you thought of using one of those hood-neck-pieces (AOU Wolverine has one)? This way you're not adding as much bulk.
Shogi
I may look into that, I wound up with the sweater piece and built the custom around that so that's why I used it. Also I needed something to do with all these Daredevils I got on clearance
