Logan
AFX has the Prolouge Elves 2-packs for 1 cent! Yeah, that's right: $0.01!! NOTE: If you plan on ordering these, make sure you go here.
TBT!
you'd be doing the site a favour if you buy using the AFX Ads at the top of the page... Not sure how much Asy will get for $.01 per item but it's worth thinking about it. I looked at this and wanted to get 500 packs but they screw you on shipping for aprox $2 per unit. how cool would an army of 1000 elven warriors have been... T. Jatta Pake
I ordered 36 and shipping worked out to be about $0.50 per Minimate. Definitely a deal for anyone wanting to build an Elf Army or wanting great 2.5" custom fodder.

Anywho. they are cheap elves.

TBT!
Any of you Elf hoarders want to sell a pack? Sure $12 plus shipping ..... T. p.s. I didn't actually buy any....has anyone worked out the 'sweet spot' for shipping/price yet?
groundhog7s
I think the only sweet spot is if you could pick them up. At $11.99 to ship one pack of Minimates, I don't know how they can just give these away at a penny.
antacost
Fun with the shipping calculator: 1 pack... Shipping was $9.99 2 packs... Shipping was $10.32 100 packs... Shipping would have been $75. Cheap Minimates, Outrageous Shipping Charges... Typical AFX
newaddict
Well as of this morning they're back to their usual sale price of $4.99 per two pack. It was nice while it lasted.

newaddict
It would be interesting to get an unofficial count of how many they sold at that price (.01 cent) to members of this board alone. I myself purchased 10. Anyone else?
Donny B
I got 40.
Ivan
36 for me. For some reason, 24 didn't seem to be enough while 48 was too many. Additionally, I wanted to order a 'case', but I couldn't find a case count anywhere. Since there are 72 Elronds to a case, maybe there are 72 Elven Warriors to a case (36 2-packs). AdyCarter
If anyone bought a set via the banner, could they let me know when they've received them... I have a feeling AFXs affiliate program is rather odd..
Donny B
I did... so I will certainly let you know when I get mine

Logan
you'd be doing the site a favour if you buy using the AFX Ads at the top of the page T. Yeah, when I posted the link, I did go thru the site banner....

Yeah, when I posted the link, I did go thru the site banner.... But your link doesnt go through the banner, your link goes to AFX. http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?actio...nnD+index.html+ is the AFX link, nothing else. Because AFX have a terribly badly set up affiliate scheme....
TBT!
If anyone who bought a bunch of these is willing to part with a set very cheaply let me know. Sod's law says I need one now... T.

groundhog7s
A bunch of Elves For anyone who wants to do a little better on shipping (maybe). I don't understand how they can justify charging $13.05 to ship 48 Elves, but it costs $11.17 to ship one Elrond. And I'm sure they wonder why they can't get rid of all of it. I'd love to get a P2 Chun-Li vs. M. Bison, but I'm not paying that much for them. I'll just take my business else where for them. Oh wait, I can't. Kirby
Thanks groundhog! Once I pay my bill for this month, I think I want to get a case... I need a LOT of fodder.
