DC Collectibles' Batman the Animated Series 6" Figures
SCW replied to hellpop's topic in Other Toys & Collectables
Brilliant short. I would totally watch a retro Batman TV show or start reading a comic series set in that era. The pulp sort of stuff is just more fun to me than most the modern day, future world, comic era we live in. -
Great use of that Don face!

TMNT Minimates - it's official!

Sternako is a great MM too. He had pretty much one whole episode dedicated to him as a separate villain and popped up a few times before becoming mutated. I could see the want for him. I doubt we'll ever get human Xever, but I really want a Fishface figure! -
Sell me your Doctor Who Minimates! Or at least your awesome 4th Doctor stuff. Problem solved! I've decided smaller is better. For the past few years my collecting habits have been all over the place. I didn't collect one single line of anything, just a smattering of a lot of stuff. Scales all over the place. I became only interested in buying what interested me, which has been a pretty good policy but it also created a few buying splurges where I hadn't bought anything in a while and I would buy something odd just because I wanted something. But for this year, I'm going to focus on mostly what I did at the tail end of 2016, which means small stuff. Lots of Glyos and Minimates mostly. I might pick up an odd thing that's not small, here or there, but with a basement full of crap in boxes I think I'm pretty much done with larger scaled stuff. I just don't have the room or the patience anymore.

Indubitably. -
3 Stooges! Seriously, 2 different 2 packs and you could have all Four, Three Stooges! Larry, Curly, Moe & Shemp! Or a single four pack! Unless you wanted to get into all the later Curly replacements. But nobody really wants a Joe Besser Minimate...

Ah okay, would explain why I haven't seen them. Thanks!

One question and one comment. 1. Where are the Marvel blind bags sold at? I'm not real into Marvel Minimates, I collect some but don't track them all down, but just curious where you even buy them at. 2. I really like this forum. I mostly trolled for years, but since registering, I think most of the people here are pretty fantastic and this is a great community. Just thought I'd add that in.

Actually there was also a Hamato Yoshi made in the 2K3 line as well. While on one hand I do agree that the one per case figures are sort of one off obscure, they're still pretty integral characters, whereas a Turtle variant or something would be much easier for collectors to digest. I know the bling bags burned Luke pretty bad this last go around, which is a shame as the TMNT Minimates are amazing and even the TMNT variants themselves are pretty fun. What's the lineup for the next series? I don't recall. -
Sadly the new Mega Bloks MMPR stuff is just dreadful. It really feels like the first line Mattel feels they can cheap out on now that they own MB. Hopefully more lines don't go that way. MMPR would be a GREAT fit for Minimates, oddly. I'd still love some Classic Doctor Who, but I doubt it'll happen.

Finally saw this. As someone who's not a super SW nerd or anything, I loved it. It definitely felt a bit disjointed at first, particularly when they kept skipping around time and planets, but once the movie settled in and started playing out, it was quite good. Definitely felt like Episode 3, which for all intents and purposes it will be now. I think part of the non Star Wars feel is that the music was different for most of it. Often it'd have a few familiar notes, then take the arrangement in an entirely different way. Which I can appreciate since this isn't the "main" Star Wars story. Good stuff though.

I entered! -
Yeah, actually it's Robby. There was a Robie the robot though. He ate coins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kmgBnBDLTQ

Awesome. Figured this was coming after the Vinylmate announcement. I sure hope Robby's dome is clearer than that though.

Even blinder bags! You have to put a bag over your head to check out.

One of the things that blew my mind when I first visited Canada, was that there was no Walgreens.

For anyone who might be on the fence, or is unclear how nice the Shapeways final product would look... Here are some photos. The detail at this level is incredible WELL worth the purchase! I doubt my paint will ever look as good as Dreadnok Rocksteady's but I can't thank him enough for producing this head. I really encourage him to do more because this has made my Godzilla Minimates finally feel complete. -

I've never understood why an articulated Rocket is so hard. Not just for Minimates, but for toys in general. There's virtually no articulated Rockets. The new animated line has one and it caused me to buy the whole line just because I was like, cool, finally a Rocket who can move his legs. So I applaud DST for making an articulated RR. It's about time! -
I think GI Joe would do great. As long as it stuck to classic ARAH looks.

Is that head for sale?! Holy crap, it looks AMAZING! -
I would hope that the new movie would create interest in doing MMPR figs, but not from the movie.
