  1. GA Atom/GA Green lantern Flash/Martian Manhunter Captain Cold/Professor Zoom Batwoman/Supernova I doubt I'll get any right...
  2. What those guys above me said. I'd be in for all of them.
  3. Another really great looking set. The entire wave is going to be excellent, and I can't wait to get them. She Hulk puts me a little closer to having the roster of Secret Wars in Mini form, so that's cool. I do wish Hawkeye and Vision would have been included, but hopefully this is an indication of more comic accurate waves in the near future for the line. We still have Wasp and Black Panther and a Giant Man and so on. There is certainly enough characters for another Avengers wave.
  4. Second vote for a Classic Doom Patrol and SA Teen Titans sets. Maybe a House of Mystery set, with Cain and Abel, Swampy and some others??? But honestly, I'm not sure I would want DC to do any box sets since I would imagine 4-5-6 new sculpts would be price prohibitive for them somehow, and what you would get would be 3-4 variants and 1-2 new characters ala the Teen Titans set awhile back. Which was nice for those folks who had not been collecting up until then, but a real pain for those of us who were with DCD from day one.
  5. I had little to no intention to buy either wave. The movie mates do nothing for me. Wave 16 doesn't change that one way or the other.
  6. Hot Damn. Very nice. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver? They look spot on, just perfect, to me. I'm very happy. If we get Hawkeye and say Wasp or Vision or Black Panther, or even Giant Man, I'll be on top of the world. And not to sound unappreciative of the wave 16 goodies, but I hope for a few waves after at least, we continue to get comic characters like this (Defenders, more comic X-Men, villians, etc).
  7. I did consider that, but I'm so down on DC Direct in general (and I was a HUGE fan for the first few years) that I wouldn't necessarily put it past them to try and render artist specific version in the 2 inch form. If there was anyway they could do so and tie in the Mates t stuff like Long Halloween or Public Enemy, I believe they would. Pessimistic, I know. It probably has made them more profitable overall (the artist versions and numerous Bats and Supes) but I got tired of it very early, and recently gave my son most of my collection and have sold the rest on eBay. He enjoys some of them more than I did anyway.
  8. Loki loooks DAMN snazzy. Just a neat representation And villians are always welcome. I'm kinda meh on the bearded Thor, but it could have been worse, so I'll take it. I really would like Wasp and Hawkeye to be the next two. I have this pathological need to have all the participants from the original Secret Wars series in minmate form. I don't know why, I just do.
  9. Agreed as well. I have no problems with variants like a Gotham By Gaslight Bats or a Red Son Superman popping up now and again in waves. I'd rather they do this with the Mates than try artist versions or anything like that. I even get a little tired of battle damaged versions, especially when doen so many times like Spidey in the Marvel Mates has been I don't even mind the occasional re-issue wave of standard Bats or Supes (like the Reactivated wave of DC Direct figs). I could handle if say a best of DC Mates wave was put together, and it had re-issues of popular characters likes Supes, Bats and GL. Doing it in one whole wave doesn't bug me as much for some reason. Maybe it's because I can skip the whole wave.
  10. I'm excited too. It would only be better if the Johnny Lightning ships would have continued for another few series. I really wanted an NX-2000 Excelsior. And an Enterprise B and C. But the 'Mates will do for now.
  11. Aint that the truth. Too bad DC Direct won't do a Ma figure in the 6 inch, 7 inch or whatever scale they're using this month, line. The variety is awesome. Of course, with the price, I'm more tolerant of frequent iterations of Supes/Bats minimates, but the fact that so far, through a few waves, they haven't gone to that well again is really a nice surprise. I guess if we get a Brother Power mini in wave 6, we'll know for sure they've eschewed the model used with the larger figures.
  12. Excellent! There have been some great anouncements the last couple days. These look great. A definate buy for me.
  13. Awesome chioces I think since they are varied, a little Golden Age, a little Silver Age, and even some modern, if you want to take the Captain and Guy, and let them hang around with Booster and Blue Beetle, as a JL/JLI reunion of sorts. Kilowog kinda fits in there too, doesn't he? Really good stuff. I'm getting excited for series 1 to be released! I have a set fro me and one for my son on order at the lcs.
  14. I so rarely get excited about any toy announcements any longer, but this, on top of the wave 5 DC Mini announcement is really great. That Thor looks fantatsic. If we get other "classic" Avengers in this wave, boy, that'd be awesome. And with the Hawks announced, does that mean the possibility of an Angle/Archangel Mini just went from nil to maybe? I'm a little X-Men'ed out, but if I could get a Angel, and a non furry Beast, and a Marvel Girl, and Havok, and Polaris, and Banshee... maybe even a Sunfire? I'm getting my hopes up
  15. I'd like these, too. In fact, I think the GA Cap is a great idea! They could do a whole wave of these GA Marvel characters, an All Winners wave! Human Torch, Toro, Bucky, Cap, Namor! That would be great.
