a klingon warrior box set set romulan star empire box set borg box set etc, etc, etc.... the thing with all these star trek minimate's is it's so easy to buy multiple set and just swap heads around you really can make as many generic characters as your budget allows

with so many era's and characters to chose from i don't know why they don't do what they do with marvel and do 2 waves at once, its works fine for marvel giving us more figures a year (when they get them out on time!!!) don't get me wrong i'm not complaining i'm glad we getting star trek minimates i just think we could handle more then 2-3 waves a year! crunching the numbers here it would take till 2012 till we got all the main cast from all the movies and tv, thats not including all the bad guys and variant's were gonna get (3 wave's so far and 4 kirks!!!)

i think "one more wave" sounds cool just hope shawn michaels & the hulkster don't read this

so i'm looking at my case box and it says 1464 of 1500 you get 3 sets per case so thats 4500 sets world wide and i'm guessing dc must sell all their case to the suppliers so they must be making money on these .. right!!!

I agree with a DC and DC Direct boycott. My DC purchases will be on hold while I "weigh my options." I have since cancelled all my DC DIrect preorders including the entire wave of Smallville figures and several higher price items...as JP said I am weighing my options as well. Jeff of the Miniacs i'm in, no more DCD for me!!

Those are pleats! No boobies for you! we'll just have to wait till they come out and have a good feel, if their rised up even the slightest then that's definate boobage!!! but they look like boobs to me too, and i should know i got me a copy of the big book of breast's when i saw it in previews last year, ironically the books massive & very heavy!!

Don't worry i got my defenders from my lcs i'm sure they'll get this set too i can't belive how many cool minimate product's this year but i'm thinking the only marvel minimate that we've seen but has not been in a set is that unmasked green goblin, maybe afx willl do him as an exclusive! but i'm liking these "themed boxes" their doing maybe @ the end of the year we'll get a world war hulk box set **UPDATE!!** just got an e-mail from my lcs who have just heard from afx these will be a New York Comic-Con exclusive (April 18-20) at the Javits Center then avaliable online after that for us people unable to get to the con!!

i've just thought up the best minimate team-up in the world dr who and his side kick martha teaming up with for an out of the world time traveling extravaganza with...... doc brown and his side kick marty to save the universe i can just picture the delorean & the tardis side by side with 4 of them in front

we were all concerned with marvel we never thought about DC

the only downside as i've said before is i would love to be able to go into my lcs over here in the UK and get them from the previews catalouge, but i've got to wait till they get sourced from a seller in the states, now i don't go in for begging much but... please please please think about us poor folk in europe, think of the children, think of the humanity, poor little timmy might never know the joy of his 1st minimate borg or marvel @ the baldness of captian Picards shinney head there begging over back to normal life....

Holy crap, that's awesome! Couple questions though, who is Underground Toys and what is their involvment with these? I believe they are the company that holds the License for Dr Who toys here in the US. So either they have sub-licensed to DST or more likely DST are making them for Underground. What I really want to know is... were there actual prototypes or just concept art? T. they did say shown "Dr. Who Mini=Mates were shown, including the 9th & 10th Doctors, Martha, Cyberman, Cyber controller. i did the same thing when i realised that by the end of the year we can have an army of cybermen vs an army of borg vs an army of cylons or the dr helping jack bauer stop a cyberman invasion from destroying L.A.

Dr who minimates awesome.. oh wait a minimate-minute!!! one of the greatest british sci-fi show's is being turned into minimates..... minimates which DST won't release in the UK because to quote my gran, god rest her soul "their tighter then a ducks arse" because they won't pay for safety testing in the UK!!!

ok so this model was a god send but with ds9, tng & movie mates coming out what are we supposed to do for display's as i don't think there are any ds9, defiant, enterprise A, D bridge kits of these....

they better not f'up these iron man one's like they did with ghost rider, out on time with movie = maximum sale's $$$$$$$$$ and the apollo in the flag suit = uncle sam custom
