I still haven't seen this set at TRU. What does it retail for? I broke down and bought the Doom loose on eBay, but will probably end up buying the set if I ever see it...

I found the variant Deadman and Super Powers version of Steppenwolf tonight. I wasn't even expecting these so soon! (especially since I haven't found Joker or Beast Boy yet!) I like John Stewart, Katma Tui and the Question, but the Kilowog BAF is the only thing I HAVE to acquire from this wave. If anyone is interested in the two I found or has any Kilowog BAF pieces available, please PM me!

It was definitely the Year of the Minimate for me. After being on board since wave 1, I hadn't been collecting them for a year or so. I got sucked back in with all the goodness released this year and I am now backtracking to close the gap in the collection!

I haven't seen any pics posted in the thread recently. Have we seen these before?

They are shirts with pixelated images to simulate the good old NES graphics.

For Christmas I got an Animated Darth Vader statue that had flat black paint spots on his gloss black boots and a Joker statue (from The Batman cartoon) that had a straight jacket strap broken off. Not the holiday for statues apparently!

Ahh, I love Minimate Database. I don't know how I'd survive without it and all its information! My vote would probably be for the wave 25 Classic Iron Man as well although the battle-damaged Mark III movie 'Mate is a pretty close second.

I usually throw away the packages after I open the toy. The exceptions are mini busts, Revoltech, and the rare few that can look sealed even after they're opened. Let me know when you're ready to unload them. My daughters are big into GI Joe (again) since they just saw the movie. My older daughter is a purist and longs for the return of the 25th/Modern Era figures because they look more like the cartoon.

I celebrated Christmas with my side of the family this past weekend and got Little Big Planet: Game of the Year Edition. I can't wait to play it. I've heard there are TONS of user-created levels online. I also found Iron Man for PS3 on clearance at Target for $10. Can't beat that!

Yes but somehow the most highly appealing, yet somehow gravity defying, aspect of that design would be lost in minimate translation. Unless of course DST is developing an entirely new kind of powerhouse chest piece. >ba-dum-boom< Powerblouse chest pieces. You got my vote!
