  1. A Mirror Mirror Kirk would definitely be better than a Gladiator Kirk, but then you'd end up with two "green" Kirks in one wave. So hopefully they do have at least one more TOS wave planned. I say "at least" because I would like an entire wave of Mirror Mirror figures and then another wave to give us more aliens. Don't get me wrong, I would love TNG, DS9 and Voyager Minimates, but there are a few TOS charaters that I would like to see first (C'mon Space Lincoln! )
  2. Yup. She was also the one that took Top Gun from Starbuck. They kinda phased her out last season... Or did ? I gotta get the DVD's so I can re-watch them. Hard to remember all the details with how they space the seasons out. I was trying to hold out till the series to get the inevitable "Complete Series" set. Hope we get a chance to see Starbuck get her stein back.
  3. Yeah, that's why I grabbed the Lizard pack too. He's not that bad with Minimates. Obviously not the right style at all, but you can wedge him in your display without him being too disruptive.
  4. Those aren't the IMAX scenes. When it hit IMAX theaters, it was explicity stated from his personal website that it would include 2 minutes of extra footage, not included on the DVD. So, the scenes on the DVD weren't in the IMAX version, and vice versa. Yes they are. I knew of them before I knew the DVD Extras. Michael Bay was either wrong or lying, because those are most definitely the IMAX scenes. Now this is coming from the BBC, and is for the UK DVD release, so there is a possibility that those scenes won't be on the US release. Still though, I wouldn't put any credence into what Michael Bay has said. He's been wrong or changed his mind before. And I doubt the company releasing the DVD would cut scenes that very well could be a selling point for some people, just based solely on the director's illogical whim.
  5. Uh, all the IMAX scenes are in the extras list that I posted. Sam Picks Up Miles - 28 sec Police Station Drug Video - 41 sec Fig wounded - 48 sec Big Rhonda - 1 min 17 sec Simmon's President Speech - 23 sec I haven't seen the IMAX version myself, but I've heard that those are the only new scenes.
  6. That would be nice, but I doubt it. Maybe we'll get a few different ones from the movie though, I'd love to see the "scratch-built" armor in Minimate form.
  7. The extras for the UK DVD are: http://www.thetransformers.net/newsstory.asp?NewsID=1965 Easter eggs/featurettes: "Michael Bay Cameo" (2m29s), "Girl in Dress" (1m57s) and "The Bay-Bot" (14s) and an extra feature not mentioned on the press releases, "Casting Mojo" (1m14s). Deleted scenes: Sam Picks Up Miles - 28 sec Maggie and Glen Intro - 1 min 49 sec Police Station Drug Video - 41 sec Fig wounded - 48 sec Fig Death - 1 min 14 sec Suv - 2 min 22 sec Big Rhonda - 1 min 17 sec Hoover Dam - 1 min 9 sec Proving Lab - 58 sec Simmon's President Speech - 23 sec They'll probably be the same or similar for the US release.
  8. *Sigh* Walmart. The ones around here don't carry any of the 25th Anniversary Joes.
  9. Yay! Male undershirt! Too bad it doesn't look like Cottle has dog tags though.
  10. That's how I started out with customizing, with Scarlet Spider. Be warned, it gets addictive after awhile!
  11. I stick Ghost Rider heads under there so I can pretend that I'm pulling their faces off. Mwahahaha! Usually, I try to at least have the faces forward. And of course, I can't just turn the mask to have them look to the side, I have to make sure the head turns with it.
  12. Her hair is brown, but it is noticeably darker than the Minimate. I've found that it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, but I could see why you'd want to paint it darker.
  13. I got one too! Yay! What's strange is that so did my brother. The only way that they would have gotten his name is from the Target receipt redemption campaign. So I guess this is due to the database that that giveaway generated.
  14. I buy one of each of DC, Marvel, and BSG. I plan on buying one of each of the Star Trek ones as well, if my LCS store's order went through (he claims it did, it's been four-five weeks now though) and I also bought the Rocky set. Occasionally, I do buy multiples, if I think that there's good custom fodder in the set. For example, recently I bought an extra Thor/Loki, an extra Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver and an extra Hawkman/Hawkgirl. The Rocky set was basically just for customizing as well. There's no way I'd be able to afford buying cases of them though, since I also try to collect Transformers and some GI Joe and Star Wars figures.
  15. Thanks! I am planning on making some kind of board for JackO'Lantern. It seems like it should be pretty easy. For now though, the often-kitbashed Destro:
  16. That is really strange, this is how mine was put together: Red waist piece. I was actually quite pleased that they had given her undergarments, but maybe mine is just a mistake.
  17. Or just wait. There is a massive refresh wave coming that will re-release every movie Deluxe released so far. And then there are also these, Deluxes with some paint differences and packaged with human figures. No word on how/when they'll be released though.
  18. My Mary is "commando" as well but she has her skirt... Huh. So is mine the only one with some decency?
  19. Thanks! And another new custom, Jack O'Lantern!
  20. They also apparently gave her the wrong waist piece, it's supposed to be red.
  21. My shop charges $6 for the two-packs, $10 for 4-packs, $15 for the variant set and $16 for five-packs. Not a bad deal.
  22. Hello. Yeah, it seems like they made a few changes before the finals were produced. I don't miss the Loki paint apps, but the skin on the variant Thor would have been nice. Just something else to make him different from the regular release.
  23. Leave the Lego head inside. Lego heads and Minimate heads have the same size neck holes. Actually the Lego neck is slightly smaller, but it still goes on.
