I don't know Ady, I'm usually signed in until I run a sweep through my system(Thank you for that tip by the way ) and when I came back in the forum I had to sign myself back in I didn't have any problem signing in, but this might be a legit complaint. As far as bugs, I remember my first trip to the Phillipines like it was yesterday

Not sure if you've noticed, Canonball, but he does alot of customs. Which is most likely why he buys extras, not to mention most of the members are either completist or buy extras to help out other folks going through a dry spell or that don't have a Target near them.

Neo I wouldn't take it to heart so badly, I think most of us have gotten up with the holidays and recovering from the holidays I know the last disc I purchased was the Ultimate Bond #1 way back when it was first released. Of course now I need to play catch up and get some more discs. Who cares if I quite a few discs I haven't watched since I picked them up, I can always use more :tongue: My only problem with picking them up right away is that down the line most of them go on sale and that can be perturbing at times Especially with the boxed sets, I usually pick up the last season of something when the new release comes out, since their usually on sale at a reduced price. It's how I picked up the JLA and BTAS season discs, now I'm just waiting to see what comes out in that arena before I make a decision. Most likely my next discs will be Deadman's Chest and the rest of the Bond collections Once I play catch up, I'll contribute more though.

Make interesting reading, Im assuming its someone we know, but could be some crazed lurker... Im guessing its one of the people I told to "play nice" with them a bit back, and now that I've deleted myself they're going for the kill! Yeah, just caught up with this required reading and definately see a air or familiarity to it Ady Definately agree with Reid, the poster definately brings up some valid points to say the least. It's unfortunate that once someone goes against the grain they are labeled a troll though How folks can be ok with time and time again things not being delivered. As The Truth pointed out, AA and the staff need to stop dangling the carrot, then folks wouldn't chew their arms off every 3-6 months when they finally get feed up with the lame excuses Like I said, I'm not going to miss it. I appreciate the hard work folks put in here to get me my Minimate news, whether it's the staff or just regular members. As I said before, keep it up gang and I'll continue to contribute

Yeah, it's one of the unfortunate's, since they actually listened to fans and on more than one occassion actually did figures off the results of a poll I signed up for their Collector's Club back in the day and it actually paid off for me by the time the company closed shop. Definately some great lines they produced, I joined because my wife was into the Muppet's and ended up getting hooked myself

...And unfortunately when Palisade went south, so did this line. It would be nice if DST picked up this and the Buffy/Angel line for Minimates. I picked up the first series of the Buffy stuff, but still need to pick up series 2, it had a BOF Judge

Let me second or tenth that sentiment TBT Ady, I think it's best that you and alot of folks have hung their spur's in a new corral To be honest, there's nothing wrong with concentrating on your forum and not bothering keeping folks informed on the Minimates news in both forums. I think you've created a nice environment for everyone here and this is where the buck needs to stop. Thanks again for all your hard work, keep it up

I think it's like Star Trek TBT, either you love it or you don't Like you, I was able to see what AA had in store for the BSG line, so I'm looking forward to this line too. My feeling is just because they haven't mentioned it, doesn't mean their not into it. It seems most of the members here are 90% completist. I fit in that bracket, since I'm like Cappy and don't try to get too hog wild over the Logo or Con Mates. I tend to try and get those or trade them to a good home, because I'm only interested in the straight Mates(Mr. T and JS GL being the exception). I'm sure one more people notice this thread, the more will be commenting on how much they're looking forward to the line. My only hope is that the classic line takes off as well as the Modern BSG Mates

I'll continue to collect the lines that appeal to me and try my hardest not to become a completist, as it is maddening to say the least But I will second that Shane is great when it comes to helping complete whatever you're looking for Definately helped me commit to this madness back in the day, not to mention plugged a few holes when I was looking for Minimates for my collection :biggrin:

Well, I'm right behind you on that one Ady So, mind the door as your exiting I pm'd so folks that I used to talk with on a regular basis and gave them my new address, depending on what they collected. I think between Star Trek, BSG and Mates, we've all found better places to spend our time. Anyway, that's all I have to say about that, onto better things :biggrin:

Well, my story is pretty plain, I blame the following person's for my Minimate addiction: Shanester, Cappy, AA(For announcing the C3/DC line), My Wife and various other members from the very old AA Forum :tongue: As most who have known me for a number of years remember, I joined AA when they announced the Star Trek license, then the AACC Well when we hit a dry spell there, I was already helping out members get the Mates that weren't showing up in their areas. One day I was out getting the 10 pack TRU's Minimate for either Watcher(old AA member) or She Hulk, I can't remember? But the Mrs. thought they were neat and wondered if I wanted one for myself? So I said sure and it was all downhill from there, Marvel, LOTR, C3, it didn't matter I was either trading or buying sets to catch up with the line Now of course my 2 great loves have been joined together with the announcement of the Star Trek Minimates and the madness continues Next....

Yaaahhh!! Thanks Ady for posting this and DST for making them. I'm a little disappointed that it's not Hawkeye and Vision, but I agree with some and think they would make a better summer exclusive

Yeah, this definately a hard one for me. If you're talking about the Avenger's Mates, I would say Hawkeye and Vision for sure. But I'm hoping that we get a summer suprise with these guys. I personally would love to see The Defender's represented, since both Namor and Dr. Strange would be in that wave. Other than that, everyone's list for the most part has some validation in getting made.

Nice to see you back in the forum Jeff Like you, I've been a little MIA in the forum, let alone online, the past few months But it's good to be back, given all of the Minimate news, it looks like I picked a great time to return Anyway, I hope the Mrs. and the family are doing well, look forward to catching up with you guys when I can sit at the computer longer than 5 minutes :tongue:

Hey Reid, there was actually the same backlash as the Star Wars before the episodes aired. But once the episodes aired everyone seemed to have gotten a case of amnesia and forgotten all the nasty crap they said :tongue: Like most here, it airs at various times, so I haven't seen too much of the HD remastered stuff. But I have been watching the original and remastered SW movies, I'm on ROTJ at the moment and may have finally came to terms with what Lucas did in his special editions ^_^ Anyway, back to what you were saying, there was certainly the same backlash for the HD remastering of TOS, it's still lingering in certain circles to say the least. My hope is that they might go back and touch up TNG next, at least the first few seasons. Still on the fence on the JJA TOS, since we really haven't heard much about that so far But I'm totally stoked about the Trek Minimates being in scale with the Marvel Mates and the DC Mates(C3). Definately makes me glad that I didn't pick up the originals back in the day. That was before some of you sucked me into this crazy line, you know who you are :biggrin:

Knock on wood HSD, I haven't had a problem. But this is my first console since the old Nintendo w/Mario Bros. So I wouldn't know if I'm having a problem or not and I play mine quite a bit. Although with the holidays fast approaching and trying to get the house ready, I've been neglecting it more than usual

AJL, I took what I hope is my last run to the post office today or at least to this particular post office. I swear my holiday spirits were tested a little today. Went to send off a package to a friend from another forum and my exclusive offers. Well anyone who knows me, knows I have the worse handwriting, so I always use mail labels to send packages off. Well, apparently this particular post office has been told their not supposed to accept these on their dc or custom forms But she would cut me some slack, since it's the holidays Well, considering that the line was moving pretty fast and then 2 employees went on break at the same time and she bitched them out in front of the entire po, I think she's lucky no one asked to speak to her supervisor But I won't be going back there anytime soon, since I don't have the same problem at my local post office's. On to better things, thanks for the pics Xybot. Looking forward to seeing what everyone received from their SS and hopefully no one else is as lame as Ady this year Happy Holidays everyone
