Since I am not paying attention to the film spoilers and the Mates are still not visible I was just hoping. I've been on a Vance Astro kick for almost a decade now.

So with the Marvel Legends figures being shown on the 9th, I'm starting to think we are going to really have a great set of Minimates coming!

I don't remember posting this but since we are doing the 25 days of Minimates on Facebook in the Minimatemob board I figured I'd share here too.

Yeah, I have the figures but I can definitely see the issues with this for newer fans. It would be great to get either a best of X-Men wave with some tweaks to not to destroy the originals value. For example: Psylocke that turns into Lady Mandarian and Butterfly effect with Archangel with extra heads (Blue and Tan heads masked and unmasked maybe even extra hair pieces for his Backstreet Boy and Mullet phases). Points for holding hands so that we can pose them as if he is carrying her. Beast with labcoat (How cool would a transforming Beast be?) with a Red X-Factor Jean (I'm NOT giving up on this) or 60's Jean Rogue with different heads to show power absorption like Nightcrawler or Colossus or even Gambit) or different arms so she can have the costume on without the jacket. Or arms so that we can use the jacket on others. I'd pair her with Gambit with the Gambit accessories from Strike Force and arms for a non trench look. Points for a jumping stands. Also points for a new hair piece for Rogue like this:

Solid! The lineup that saved Jean Grey. That was a good run before 300 and the inferno nonsense. Good lineup.

Late as always... But the Beast was pretty active with the X-Men back during that run. thanks to him the X-Men were able to defeat Mesmro when he invaded the mansion (around 111) and that of course lead to the epic saga in the Savage Land when he carried Jean through Antarctica and got her back to the mansion while the rest of the team was dead (in the Savage land). This led to Jean going to Muir Island and her exposure to Mastermind.

I thought the name of the game was characters you are surprised never got figures because of their contributions/ties to the over all MCU.

Still surprised we don't have these.

More like I'm surprised we didn't get it for the 75th anniversary of the start of the war (1939) in 2014 while SHIELD and FURY have been hot topics but that they still have time since the end of the war was in 45 they can do 75 years in 2020.

I haven't stepped foot in a Walmart in years but I have seen them in other stores like TRU. I am just a bitter Betty whenever anything DC/Buffy gets made that isn't a mate.

Clearly, there is a market but I am surprised there is more of a market for those then there are for Minimates.

I am actually surprised we didn't get a box set yet of the Commandos for the 75 anniversary of WW2 or in 2020 for the anniversary of the end of the war.

This is exciting but it pisses me off when I don't get to see DC or the DCTV universe. Or Buffy. Especially when I see those figures being made in other properties and done poorly. Exhibit A:

I did the same thing! And then I saw this And went crazy tracking down these PVC toys. LOL maybe it is why I can't stand the minimate X-Factor Jean since the hair isn't big enough and the costume isn't red. I would play that they were scattered through the universe and as I found them the other characters found each other. That and I made paper dolls of the characters.

I used this face from Ezekiel from the Walking Dead line And a spare Strike Force Storm hair piece. Hail Ivan.

Yeah I just made my own with a SHIELD body and then a Walking Dead Figure.
