Anyone else bummed that there is no mail today?

I was looking at these at TRU today... I wish there were just one character I could justify buying... I'd love to support the line but wave one is a big yawn for me. Too bad Dormammu is not in the TRU assortment.

Thats where I gave up on Ultimates too.

Ive had this 616 v Ult conversation tons of times with my friends. I confine my argument to The Ultimates because its the only book I really kept up with. Basically the people that complained the most read the least. Ultimates 1 and 2 were great. There are good and bad in both universes. There is also room for both. That being said an Ultimate two pack here and there is fine by me. Ultimate Hawkeye is one of the coolest characters ever. A much bigger bad ass than pretty much anyone else in the Ult Universe or 616.

I wouldn't mind getting the rest of "The Ultimates" to round out the core guys we already have. Ult Hawkeye, Wasp, Armored Black Widow and Hank Pym are more than welcome in my collection. Creepy Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch would be cool too.

I got it at NYCC. All in all its a good set... I didn't spend too much time with it though. I threw em all into the fodder bin as soon as they came out of the box.

I actually have Lenore #1... Wonder if its worth more than a polybagged copy of X-Force #1 with a trading card inside?

As much as I would love to see him as a mate Meca Hulk was never in a comic that I know of. I believe the figure was created by Art Adams for the Hulk Classics line... One of the best ML type figures ever I might add.

I just got my Stormbreaker set at NYCC this weekend and realized we need a Don Blake The cane comes from the 3 inch Gorn.

Really? AFX sold out of them? They had a ton when I went by there on both Saturday and Sunday morning... Maybe I shouldn't just use the set I picked up for custom fodder... Yeah in all the excitment I didn't get to the AFX stand until Sunday afternoon. By then they'd sold out, got the StormBreaker set from them though. Nice set. The con really was great....shame my wallet got stolen in Times Square afterwards at least it wasn't before the con, otherwise I would have had no money! Your wallet was stolen in Times Square? Wow! I havent heard of anything like that happening in years. Usually there are so many cops nobody would dare... Sorry man. That sucks.
