Quite an odd bunch of figures you have there! With such a limited supply, I'd suggest a small display. You could take the easy route and buy various scaled dioramas, but I have limited knowledge on that front. I much prefer to build my on displays by hand. I'm not sure if you're crafty with image editing software, but that is my method of choice. For a display of such a small amount of figures that don't go together as a whole, I suggest pairing them off and putting them in cool poses. I made a quick mock up of an idea. A display of thick glossed cardstock paper, printed with designs to match the figures, then folded and glued. At least that's what I would do. But if you prefer something a little simpler, you could try "Luke's Toy Store". He doesn't seem to have any of the striking dioramas in stock anymore, but the acrylic stands work well too. Ok then! Here we go. I was scrolling through some threads when I realized that some of the character banners in users' signatures were a bit outdated. So I thought, why not spruce things up with a new campaign. And so I now present to you all the new MMMV character support event. Good Brothers and Sisters, I come before you today to beg the question: Why do we still fight this "Civil War"? Have we not passed a point where we need to fight amongst ourselves to get what we want? It is now more important than ever to fight for the characters that WE want! But to do this, we must put aside our past aggressions and focus on our common enemy. OUR ENEMY IS OUT THERE! Diamond Select Toys Yes, that's right. The makers of our precious Minimates are to blame. They focus so much on their money-making Movie 'Mates that they neglect to give us what we truly want. The time is now to strike our blows and take up arms to get what we want! So now I beg this rhetorical question: What is this new campaign to be called? MARVEL NOW! Diamond Select Toys: make [insert Character Name Here] now! Pick your side! Gather Your Armies! DST: Make MARVEL NOW! *Ok so obviously that was all a joke. There is no need to start any arguments over the status of the Marvel line. We're just here to have fun and fight for our favorite characters.* So here's a guideline of how I'd like this campaign to go: 1. PM me the character that you want most. It must be an unmade character or a version of a character that has yet to be made (This includes Bulk-Ups). If you want a specific picture or color to go with it, include it. If not, I will pick one myself. 2. I will create two banners and post them in this thread. One is for the leader who PM'd me the character first. The other will be for followers. 3. Post the banner in your signature. 4. Post in this thread and others to spread the campaign for your character. 5. Discuss here and there and anywhere! I will start first. I want Blob Now! Have fun!

I think it's time to revive this thread. I have a plan and sig banner templates ready. If there is some interest, I'd gladly head the charge.

Zach, Can we expect a reveal if this license at SDCC?

I have to agree with you on the 616 vs. MCU statement Zach. Although I love all of the movie 'Mates that DST puts out I would also like to see more from the comics. I personally think it would be cool to get figs from the Netflix series (I mean who doesn't want an MCU Daredevil to go with the other figs?). But with that being said, I just don't see DST touching either those shows or AOS. The audience for both of the shows are the older fans, not kids. While I'm sure some of the Minimate market is adults, you have to consider the kids. When you think about MCU vs. comic, the comic designs and characters are a bit more inviting to kids. I think the closest we are going to get is the "Best of" Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil. They're colorful, from the comics, and launching at the perfect time to sell to kids who will watch the Netflix shows. It's the best of both worlds!

I guess he's thinking that DST would have a license that encompasses all things Predator. That includes sequels, spinoffs, and comics where there is a large variety of different Predators to make figures of. (Much like NECA's line) At least...that's what I was thinking.

I have to agree. We already got a kickass Son of Coul and the other characters would be pretty generic. I'd much rather see 'Mates from the Netflix shows.

I just ordered the 8-bit Predator figure. Looks really cool and retro. I hope that DST gets the license some day.

But enough to have been in "many issues of Previews"? I'm just not thinking it's TNBC. One things for sure: When it is revealed, we'll all be kicking ourselves that we didn't figure it out sooner! Gosh this really complicates things. I thought after Previews was released it would be obvious. I must say that this is the most dumbfounded I've ever been when guessing a Minimate license. It sure is fun though!
