  1. I would gladly melt my first, non-bulky, skinny Thing on my BBQ for a badass Ronan.
  2. Wow, I had no idea. If you set up a petition on change.org, I will gladly sign it. What's with all the banana-hammocks? Does this mean something different outside of Australia... or did he say this place is full of skimpy mens swim-wear? Same meaning. I was referring to Webhead's avatar and profile pics. And the first Namor minimate. Oh, come on. It's a lot less convoluted than that retcon were Peter Parker had Mephisto destroy his marriage.
  3. For the FF villain, I'm betting on either Annihilus (to go with Blastaar in the Wave 48 box) or a new Mole Man (to go with the Moloid in the Wave 48 box). For an associate, I'd bet on either Crystal or Medusa (although either might count as an FF member, too).
  4. Oh, so now we know who to blame for this fiasco! What's with all the banana-hammocks?
  5. Surely you jest. This sort of debate about is part of what true comic nerds live for. Victor ? Only if you're nasty. They can't correct packaging on a wave not even in production anymore, that's a little ridiculous. And they are known as Doombots, as that link provided....so i'm not sure why this is a thing? Because we need to hold DST to higher standards to prevent such errors in the future. Frankly, I'm surprised nobody here has noticed this before. As the link also says: "The Servo-Guards should not be confused with: --Doombots, Dr. Doom's robot duplicates of himself"
  6. Well, if you call those guard robots "Doombots", then what do you call the robot duplicates of Dr. Doom?
  7. Has anybody else noticed that the "Doombots" are misnamed? True Doombots are actually robot duplicates of Dr. Doom himself: http://marvel.wikia.com/Doombot_(Earth-616) What DST is calling "Doombots" are actually the "Servo-guards" of Castle Doom: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/servoguards.htm Should the packaging be corrected?
  8. So I got both my Mighty and Worthy sets this week, and I'm really pleased with the quality of the minimates. However, I do have a question: Why is Hawkeye so tall? He's like a 2.5" figure, compared to the 2" of Iron Man and Spider Man.
  9. But.....but ... Johnny' dead He's alive ? Who would have guessed ? But...but....Ant Man's dead, too!!! Wait...is this really Marvel Zombies again?
  10. Maybe he knows but can't say because it's not good practice to comment on such things so early in a production cycle and mis-set fan expectations, even if it is real.
  11. Second choice: High Evolutionary (why haven't I seen him on anyone else's list?)
  12. Annihilus. We have Blastaar confirmed to be coming....how can we have one Negative Zone baddie, but not the real big boy?
  13. The Inhumans. We already have Blackbolt and Lockjaw. Finish it up by giving us Medusa, Crystal, Gorgon, and....um...that big-headed guy who does krate strikes.
  14. I hope Wanda's hex rings change to some different material, like translucent, before final production because they look kind of lame in the same pink as her leotards.
  15. It's critical to the A v X story arc. It's a no-op outside of that. Yeah, it was fairly obvious this was the direction the story was going in once fish boy lost his extra mojo.
  16. Me, too. Anyone know DST's minimum quantity to do a run? Maybe we can do a group buy. Dude you know you can edit your old posts and just do a giant post right? Yes.
  17. 1) Iron Man Space Armor 2) Annihilus 3) Psycho Man 4) Baron Zemo 5) Baron Mordo 6) Baron Strucker 7) Madame Hydra / Viper 8) Super Adaptoid (easiest minimate to make -- he's all parts from others!) 9) Diablo 10) Any of the Iron Man villains that are pawns of Mandarin/Hammer (Blizzard / Living Laser / Melter)
  18. Me, too. Anyone know DST's minimum quantity to do a run? Maybe we can do a group buy.
  19. ^This^ Ditto. I just bought 2 movie Hydra army dumps. I'd gladly do the same for 'classic' Hydra, AIM, classic SHIELD, and the Hand if coupled with leaders.
  20. Yeah, but I don't think Marvel recognizes all the WWII propaganda issues that pre-date his publication under the Marvel label as canonical to the current incarnation of the character. FWIW, I don't think the "Commie Smasher" stories are regarded as canonical for Steve Rogers, either (I think the retcon is that there was an 'impersonator' in the 1950s pretending to be cap)... Captain America - Commie Smasher
  21. The Phoenix Buster is a giant sized armor like the Hulk Buster armor. It's a critical part of the story arc, as it is Stark's firing of the Phoenix Buster at Phoenix that causes it to split into five parts and possess Cyclops, Emma, Colossus, Namor, and Magik.
  22. So is that problem of Colossusnaught's chest painting misaligning pervasive? Does anyone have a Colossusnaught that doesn't exhibit that problem?
  23. If you're going to do Malice, she should really be bundled with Psycho Man.
  24. I think it's consistent with Marvel's canon. I've always seen Cap depicted as having fought in the European theater. I've never seen him portrayed as having fought on Pacific Islands during WWII.
