Hmmmm, highlights of my year: - Moved back to the Midwest after 5 years in Austin, TX. - Have seen more of my family than I have in the past five years. - Bought a house. - Got a better-paying, less-stressful job. - Bought an old metal rotating comic book rack (one of my Holy Grail items) It's been a good year. And 2007 is looking like it will be huge, too.

The Speed Racer Minimates are not moving at my TRU. They keep losing shelf space, but I don't think anyone has bought any besides me. The SFII Minimates have sold slowing. They're down to 5 of the original 12 that they started with months ago. The big surrpise has been the Marvel Minimates. TRU got about 30 of each, and I was expecting to buy a bunch when they went on clearance months later. But they've sold a lot of them in the last month or so - holiday shoppers, I guess. As for store placement, the Marvel Minimates are hanging next to the Marvel Legends. The Speed Racer & SFII mates are the next aisle over.

Haven't seen a Target around here restock Minimate after they've gotten the GSXM wave. And a few of them need to, because they got cleaned out of the GSXM mates. And it wasn't just me. Honest.

Mine's inky blue, too. With the matching blue hair, it makes me think someone tried to dye an Iron Man minimate to make a custom stealth figure.

I'm glad someone else felt like making the DoFP Wolverine "right" with a jacket , and did a great job with it. Now if I could find time to start working on mine...

I use an acryllic sealant with my decals, something I had leftover from my college days. I think it's this - Krylon Crystal Clear. Originally I just did one coat, but the ink would run after it got wet. So I started doing three lighter coats of sealant on the decal sheet, letting it dry between each coat. Haven't had any problems since.

Off the top of my head, I know that CornerStore Comics has cases for sale for Wave 11 & 12.

That's what I do, too. With so many different colored mini-Sharpies out there, it's easy to find the color you need.
