  1. Yeah. I mean, we got a Jean DeWolff mate. Think about that for a minute.... we got a freakin' Jean DeWolff.....
  2. Huh? We have a near complete Heralds of Galactus. And no way is Spider-Man neglected.
  3. Those were not the New Warriors. (disgruntled Nicieza fan boy)
  4. New Warriors are definitely in their own little corner of the MU. The editorial shakeup of 1996 put them in the Spider-Man family, but that was only towards the very end. I think this question needs to be phrased differently.
  5. I don't think Thor should even be in the discussion. Yeah there's some missing pieces from his supporting cast, but the same could be said for X-Men, Spider-Man, etc and I don't think anyone would say they're neglected. Without a doubt New Warriors. The Nova we got is from later on, but the Wave 50 one can work. Other than that I don't think there's any representation. Atlas era Monsters Golden Age. We got that Invaders set, but that was a seventies comic that just happened to take place in the golden age. I'd love some of those forgotten characters like Angel, Blazing Skull, Fin, need to cut myself off before I start wish listing.....
  6. Razorback would be F'in sweet as a Minimate. Make that animal head one huge removable piece. Damn, now I might need to hit the parts bin and bust out the apoxie sculpt...
  7. All characters who haven't been made in any form. Randomly pick pages out of the OHOTMU for all I care, as long as they're new characters.
  8. Huh. Well there's something to discuss. If this is true, then that is extremely good news!
  9. Liney, I couldn't find my pics unfortunately, but if you take shaman's boots off, hair off, belt off, and line him up with a Minimate who had normal feet ON, they're the same size. So it's a mold issue. I've had the same problem with a lot of the MAX mates, seems like the legs are cast from different molds.
  10. Stack, did you count the Marvel side of the Marvel vs. Capcom series? I did. 2012 really spoiled us. There's a few anomalies, the Secret Invasion characters I counted as the characters portrayed and not as Skrulls. It gets real tricky with Jean/Phoenix, I believe anything Phoenix related I counted as a separate character, even though Jean herself briefly wore the green Phoenix costume for a period in the late 90's. How did you treat Army builders? Did you treat Heavy SHIELD Agents and SHIELD Agents as the same? I think I separated mine, for simplicities sake I treated all army builders as a new character. Did you count "accesorized" characters? I counted things like Lockjaw and Redwing as characters, I think they should be counted.
  11. I did something like this, but I counted alternate versions as new characters. So Magneto-295 (AOA) counted as a different character then Magneto-616 (mainstream). I didn't count movie characters. I also did mine handbook-style, so Iron Patriot, Norman Osborn and Green Goblin all count as the same. My number-ratios were pretty similar to yours, I'll see if I can find it of anyone's interested.
  12. Marvel's cover artist policy: "Can you photoshop?" "Yes, but I.." "You're hired!!!"
  13. I did that liney, it helps a little bit but not much. I might have WIP pics somewhere, I'll look....
  14. Wait, what? SLJ is a Furry? I did not know that. Now you're telling me that Nick and Nick Fury Jr. are as well? Damn, and I thought that Tigra, Squirrel Girl, Rocket Raccoon and Capwolf were the Furry characters that most needed figures. Furry characters I want to see the most: Modern Beast X-Factor Wolfsbane Vivisector Tigra Wendigo Kylun Squirrel Girl Feral Wolverine circa 1996 Monster of Frankenstein (has furry vest) Sebastian Shaw (has furry chops) Heroes Return Scarlet Witch (Eastern European women can sometimes be furry) Please commission Marvel's Furriest box set.
  15. Wow, seriously? I was looking through my buddies old 2004-2006 stuff and it's so pathetic what that line has turned into. Long live the 'Mates.
  16. I avoided Age Of Ultron like the plague. I see a lot of speculation about "classic" character versions here. I thought AOU would be like a Fear Itself situation where the character looks are very specific to the story. But again, I didn't read it. So were certain characters shown in their "classic" looks in the story? If so, then I'm not opposed to an AOU set if it integrates with my 616 stuff.
  17. Zach, you mentioned before that there were reasons why you had to stay away from Ghost Rider for a while, and I understand if you can not answer but did any of that have to do with the Gary Friedrich rights issues? Just curious.
  18. Magneto took care of the Red Skull, almost permanently, after Acts of Vengeance.
  19. FLASHBACKS!!! Dude. These are seriously good. And "Bruce Highlander" has to be the manliest name ever. Bravo sir!
  20. What's that yellow sling-looking thing next to Cap-pool? Is that a new piece? Doesn't look familiar...
  21. "Always crouching?.... short limbs? Lol..... no."
  22. "Fighting Chance" The tail end of Gru's run, right before the Armored Cap we already got.
  23. The 1990's geek in me is loving that Cap. Probably my favorite reveal so far.
