  1. Kubricks or 'Mates ? If I had to choose I'd go for 'Mates . I collect both & as an insatiable completist there is the chance of 'completion' with Minimates. Kubricks are just so damned expensive unless you stick to the non-chase ,non-exclusive stuff. I have every Marvel Kubrick. These are ....I can't ever explain properly...different ,in so many ways other than articulation ,from Marvel Minimates. There is also something friendlier (perhaps mate-ier) about Minimates when compared to Kubricks . Kubricks are definitely innovative though & some of the Marvel Kubrick Secret Chases are iconic, I refer to specifically Peter Porker Spider-Ham,Doppelganger Spidey & Venom-Ham. These buggers would grace anybody's collection. I reckon I'm lucky to have these & my 'mates. I'll also apologise if I sound patronising when I keep on about cost but lets face it guys, it comes into it.
  2. Thanks Ivan. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Completism is a curse...........anybody got a Target MIB Punisher/Blade 2 pack they want to trade/sell me.
  3. Would that be the Special Forces Vehicle?
  4. but I also collect kubricks that probably skews my interpretation of what is 'expensive'' Expensive ....they're extortionate! I suppose we don't have to buy them though!
  5. The 'Glow in the Dark' Kubrick version takes some beating !
  6. Could someone tell me whilst we're at it ..what is the difference between the 2 Assault Punisher /Blade ,2 -packs? I refer to the Wave 9 set & the Target 2006 set. Both are listed in the 'Database' & 'Definitive List' ,yet I fail to see any difference in the packaging at all.
  7. A Darktide DVD set is a cheap start ,often less than $10 on US ebay.
  8. Thanks for being patient with an old man. I'm in.
  9. That's the bit I couldn't figure out. You are assigned someone first ,then you put the thinking-cap on.Right?
  10. If the horse has SFHD and SFIV it will definitely die as both conditions are fatal. I have confirmed this with a vet.
  11. Thanks,I'm beginning to get it but....how would they guess who sent it? For the record I'm genuinely not trying to be a) a clever-ass or intentionally stupid.
  12. Maybe it's me but......I've read through the thread 3 times now & completely understand the rules etc. but......what is the actual concept all about? Please feel free to patronise me & make me appear to be stupid but I just don't understand what it's all about! Sorry... .. .
  13. 'They' arrived today immersed in a veritable sea of polystyrene . I have ' them' & 'they' are fantastic. I have one or two 'mates in my collection but these will be amongst the most treasured. Thanks & well done!

  16. I'd like a Devilboy95 & Fizzle 2-pack. Unfortunately I expect they'd come with weak knees .
  17. Zombie Spice Girls......? Sorry ,I read that as geriatric shuffling whores...my mistake..generic shuffl....
  18. Amazing stuff, worth every cent. Has the Mad Scientist gone to a member(sk8demon007) ?
  19. These are both Flyer versions & yes the logo is the only difference ,probably the 'white' being missed in production. I'm intrigued though that you imply that there are US & UK versions of these.
  20. I've never put these two together before ,looks like one's a bit less flash than the other. I've also noticed that I've got a Darktide Wolvie with black dog tags (no silver in it).
  21. This will mean nothing to anybody outside Great Britain but how about a 'Famous British Detective Series'. You could have Morse,Lewis,Frost,Linley,Dalziel & Pascoe,Marple etc. Why you may ask? Well we could have our very own 'Taggart Exclusive'!
