I don't really have a good camera (except a 5 year old iPhone 1st gen), so sorry can't snap a decent pic for you. I do recommend getting the set though if you can find it at a decent price. I lucked out and found a dusty one still at an out of the way comic shop.

Now that you mention it, It kind of reminds me of Run DMC's logo. Not by much, but maybe that's why it looks familiar?

I bought one a few months ago for that very purpose. It's a good scale, but some of the figures might be difficult to detach. Honestly, I kinda just left it on the table and haven't really gotten back to it. I'll check it tonight and see if I can give you any more details.

Just got an in-stock email from TRU.com. It seems Zombie/Jim(Shane) are back in stock. Looks like there are (2) available as of this writing. Exclusive Walking Dead Minimates Series 1 - Zombie and Jim That IS pretty impressive! And considering the top 2 are really statues in the toy category, That technically means the Walking Dead minimates are the #1 toy/action figure! Keep 'em coming DST!

I think the wordless one is just as awesome and I'll now be allowing my B&W monsters to carjack it from Herman.

This was probably my favorite "horror" movie of the last several years, and definitely one of my favorite movies this year. Some people won't get it, but the ones who do know the payoff is fantastic.

As of right now, there looks like 18 Glen sets and 25 Shane sets in stock. All the listings have been corrected and hopefully that means the inventory is back on track.

I didn't have any trouble adding to my cart (that's how I figured the count), but I didn't order any, so I don't know how far past that step it would go. Did you give them the item# 12898328 on the phone? That's the correct one for the link I had for Glen/Zombie, but they have an incorrect listing for Glen/Dale, currently not in stock, which I believe is actually the Zombie 2-pack.

Exclusive Walking Dead Minimates Series 1 - Zombie and Glenn Glenn is also the only set that has been corrected in inventory with the correct listing. I would imagine when the others are corrected, the stock will be adjusted accordingly.

The Mummy/Sarcophagus set sold out before the two TRU exclusives did around here. Definitely a demanded set. Very glad I got one.

Did you grab the exclusives, either for yourself and/or to help out Multiversers? Well, I picked myself up a set, but I check this TRU frequently. They're unpredictable about when, but they are pretty good about eventually stocking and restocking. Even the sold-out Avengers movie minimates got re-stocked at least twice before they sold out for good. The last few Marvel comic waves have restocked at least twice (except the current one because all that's sold from those are the Havok/Storm sets). I'd say there's probably a good chance there's more Walking Dead to be stocked. If so, I'll see about getting what I can to help you out.

Does anybody's fastball special hands work? Both of the ones I've tried are too loose with the peg too small and unable to hold Wolverine. Anyone have any suggested fixes?

I'd personally love it if they went Pixar for 7, 8 & 9. I'm sure Mark Hamill is up for a little Luke voice acting.

In all my decades of comic reading, I never really read much Alpha Flight. Since the introduction of these minimates set, I've went back and started reading from the beginning. Really good stuff, starting with the Byrne run.

My TRU today had an untouched case worth of Walking Dead on the pegs. Marvel wave 14 still hasn't been touched since last week when Havok & Storm was bought(after sitting there nearly a week before). But all the new McFarlane figures have been bought up. I really don't see too much in the way of scalping at this TRU as far as minimates go.

Considering there's barely a handful of the exclusive sets on ebay, none at online stores yet, and only a few lucky people here who either received them from tru.com(mine was cancelled late last night) or in a brick store, I really think there's still plenty to be had - somewhere. Whether in transit from warehouses, in stockrooms or just sitting untouched in a warehouse due to misnaming and inventory screw up. If they are really sold out, then where are they? It really just doesn't add up yet.

My order from earlier today for the exclusives hasn't been cancelled, so if anyone wants any, I'd say go ahead and order. Nothing to lose, right?

I just did a search on tru.com for those numbers and the original listings came up as in stock. I placed an order for 'Jim" and "Morgan". Let's see if it gets cancelled or not.

My local store never got Halo Series 5 either, and I was responsible for most of the sellout of Series 1-4 at that store. It seems like TRU does zero research into what product actually sells at certain store. My local store never gets the Marvel boxsets either, and I have yet to see the TRU Expendables 2 boxset at ANY TRU I have walked into in either Michigan or Ohio. My store sold through the Halo series 4 & 5, then restocked both with full pegs - which hasn't been touched. The expendables box set#1 has sold exactly 1, which is probably why I haven't seen #2 there. SF vs Tekken are sold out. No sign of Walking Dead at this one, but Marvel wave 14 sat over a week untouched. Now only the 2 Havok/Storm sets are gone. It seems my TRU is as unpredictible as yours.

I think the main reason I wouldn't think this is because of the misnaming on TRU.com. Since BBTS is already getting the direct market wave, I doubt they wanted to buy dozens on the hope that they didn't end up with duplicates of ones they already have in stock as part of direct cases. If they suddenly started listing Rick/Zombie and Zombie 2-pack sets individually, then I guess we'll know if that's the case.
