Mostly, but you will need the Havok from wave 20 if you don't have him already, and the upcoming Storm from TRU wave 14. I could have sworn we were getting a new Havok at some point. He will be packaged with Storm in wave 14 Saw his energy blast accessory the other day. Very cool.

maybe a VS line up would work? like the story behind it could be the Beyonder or the Collector or some other cosmic force has pitted some random marvel characters against each other from various time lines...im thinking way too far into this No, Mnemosis is the one thinking too much. He's got a line plan for every possible nonexistent scenario. :biggrin:

Spidey 3 was poorly thought out on several levels, and I never really liked Maguire in the role, or Dunst in hers. I think starting from scratch is not the worst thing in the world, and a new costume helps differentiate it from what came before, considering how famous the old costume has become. It's not really that different anyway; the old one was just as textured and patterned, this one just moves the colors around. But send a message, TM2. Vote with your dollar. As long as you spend those dollars on Minimates instead. :biggrin:

The remaining polls do not line up with the first poll very much at all. There's a lot of Avengers cast members and a lot of X-Men cast members, but not many direct match-ups. Depending on who wins, deciding on logical two-packs may be tricky.

Obviously, finishing the team would be great, but if we're trying to get Ultimate Hawkeye, Giant-Man, Wasp, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch made, it's gonna be tough. Maybe we could sprinkle a few into TRU waves here and there, but beyond those first two it's a tough sell. Although I'd take an ultimate Valkiyrie.) At least we have Miles Morales in the works...

TRU 14 we showed at Toy Fair. 15 and 48 are connected, yes. But a character being in this first poll doesn't mean they aren't in 15/48. It just won't be that look. I think 48/15 will debut at SDCC, probably not sooner. So after we announce the exclusives on June 1, you'll be able to speculate with confidence.

Is the Ultimate Universe even relevant at this point? I loved Ultimates 2, but it doesn't appear to be setting the world on fire anymore.

Great idea. I'll put that bug in people's ears. Not sure 47 or 48 will be like that, but I think the parts alone will make them worthwhile.

Because there's a battle-damaged slip-on mask. Why make them both slip-ons when some people don't like slip-ons? Also, the mask is barely battle damaged.

GR is an A-lister due to incessant movie marketing alone. Deadpool is a low A/strong B. He's as famous as you can get without getting a Happy Meal toy. I didn't include him, because this year was like Deadpoolooza, and I haven't heard many people ask for any alternate looks.

I think he was left out because there was a lot of Hulk coming out around then. We've gotten three Hulks (and a Red Hulk) in the past year, and only that one Thing, if my count is correct. Plus, we have a Hulk through the Ages box set coming up! So clearly we love the Hulk as much if not more. If this Thing wins (I don't think it will), I doubt we'll see more than one Thing released between now and its arrival next year.

I think everyone I put in the poll is worthy of a mate -- not having plans for them doesn't mean this is their only shot. If someone is as worthy as you say, then people will vote for him or her. Or maybe we'll look at them in the future. Thunderstrike is definitely worthy, and he got one. No Quasar yet, right? And the Thing is famous! Sure we've made a few lately, but we've made a lot more Thors. I'm surprised people are asking where Thor is. And I'm going to try not to make the variant an A-Lister. But we'll see how the votes shake out. I'm tempted.

We can't just expand the list of characters who are instantly recgnizable to casual fans, although the Avengers movie certainly did that with Hawkeye, Widow and Loki. If Luke Cage ever gets a movie or a cartoon, I'm sure he'll get an upgrade. A costume would help.

This round, no zeroes. Next poll, doubtful. Everyone in there has a number-one fan. Poll #3... maybe. But everybody on there has been asked for here at one time or another. Poll #4, it's entirely possible. We picked some obscure army-builders. Regardless, that's a lot of art to create for a poll this size. Even if we knew we were eventually going to make all of them.

Starting to think I should have started with one of the other categories, and finished with this one. Not sure if that would have gotten us more press or less. Probably less. Would have silenced any and all complaints, though. Ah well, there's one in every barrel. 1. First appearance Punisher should be out next month. Pretty close to classic. 2. The Best of Wave was meant to be the most popular, recognizable versions of those characters. So that's where you'd see a Classic Punisher, if we do a second wave. 3. Those TRU Exclusives MAY be popular -- I think it's due to rarity more than anything else -- but not all of them are. Mr. Negative and Fantomex are lingering at retail, as are Blink and Sabretooth. 4. Not every wave has a theme. TRU 13 has no theme. TRU 14 has no theme. TRU 15 has no theme, but it partially ties in to Wave 48, which does have a theme. 5. Sounds like plenty of people care about these costumes, and I chose interesting versions to make them as appetizing to collectors who have a dozen Hulks and Caps already as possible. If you don't like this category, don't vote on it, and don't buy them. If you like the next category, great.

Sorry, making 32 pieces of control art for this wave was just not feasible with our artist's current (constant) workload. And if something ends up getting 0% of the vote, that's a pretty good indicator that we should probably never make him.

Man, I would love a Reavers set. Never happen, but Bonebreaker, Skullbuster, Prettyboy and Donald Pierce? I may actually be inspired enough to attempt customs.
