  1. I got my name from the time I went to laser tag and put my name down as Gromit (Wallace and Gromit). The person reading out the names thought my "R" looked more like an "L". It kinda stuck. As for my avatar, I found that by chance while Googling. Glomit
  2. Just finished watching the fall finale on SPACE, and wow, what a cliffhanger. Is Adama bluffing? And yet, they did not reveal one new Cylon!!!! . Still cool, nevertheless. Just can't wait for January! Glomit
  3. Army builders might have been interesting (5 Elves a pack, 5 Uruk-Hai a pack, etc.). We would have been able to do so much more, since this whole line was mainly based on The Two Towers. Goblins were in pretty short supply as well. Glomit
  4. Yeah, pretty much LEGO. There are Star Wars Miniatures, but their minor setback is that they have absoloutley NO range of motion......unless you bend them. I do remember having a lot of fun with those Thing Fists, I just wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of a punch with one of those things. Glomit
  5. sand-man, venom, carnege, the hobgob, and black cat It might just be me, but isn't Harry Osborn just the second Green Goblin while the original Hobgoblin's identity is unknown. I could have sworn I read somewhere that a man (can't remember his name) finds Norman Osborn's original Green Goblin lair and when he reports this to his boss (or employer), he is killed and the boss (identity unknown) goes back to the lair and modifies Gobby's costume and sets out as the Hobgoblin. Then again it might just be me. Glomit
  6. Well, they did say LEGO on them, but they had SYSTEM written right next to them. Don't minid me, I'm just being technical . BTW,we don't have Targets in Canada, oh, there I go again . Glomit
  7. I just noticed something interesting: Athena was in the old series and was some sort of person that was always helping out on the bridge. At first, when Sharon got renamed "Athena", I just thought it was a name the writers had decided on, but I guess not. I just find it cool that Grace Park gets to play Sharon/Boomer/Athena. Luckily, we know someone who works on the show. Yesterday she showed us the Season 3 outtakes DVD (this is probably going to be released on DVD eventually) and I have to say, Adama can be quite..... gaseous . Also, does anyone think Apollo will go back into the cockpit? Will the Baltar threesomes ever cease? Glomit
  8. Doctor Who would be pretty cool, there is just the problem of popularity. Not so many people in North America know about it. Just like BSG, we could have the new series and classic series and maybe the spin-off series. I also have "Life on Mars" in mind (has no affiliation with the LEGO theme, "Life on Mars"). It's an English series about an investigator who gets hit by a car and falls into a coma. When he wakes up, he find himself in 1973, on his way to a new police station where he is paired up with some crooked cops. I guess you can't do a LOT with it, but it would still be cool. Glomit
  9. 3! *smacks self on head* I just found out moments before I logged on, no joke! Glomit
  10. Just for furure reference, there is a program out there called Draw Plus 4. It is good for making decals and is 100% free ! Glomit
  11. Diggin' the Doc!! Is that A Frodo hairpiece, sides painted? Glomit
  12. Kind of a stupid question, but is this DT package even made by AA? Cuz I know that if you go into most dollar stores, you usually find much smaller LEGO sets that are actually not made by the LEGO Company. Unlike Megabloks, these sets look almost exactly like Lego pieces, just less durable (and they are probably the only "LEGO" sets you will find for a dollar). Instead of actually copying LEGO's themes, these sets have cowboy, wizard, and medieval themes. Don't know how they got away with it . Glomit
  13. Nice action pose ! That's the 2 inch, right? Karate chop!!! Glomit
  14. Why didn't AA just make a variant in the first place? Glomit
  15. Twilight or Cloaked? Or perhaps the witch king.....? Glomit
  16. It might just be me, but I think that dress would be good for a custom "Lucy Lawless Cylon" A.K.A "The Reporter" (what is her cylon name??) Glomit
  17. What CS are you going to, Glomit? The Comic Shop on 4th and Golden Age Collectibles on Granville always seem to have the latest waves. I've been going to The Comic Shop. I guess I just don't go as frequently as I'd like to. Actually, I've only been going upstairs and had no idea that they carried Minimates. Last time I went, I found them right next to the desk on the main floor. If I had known earlier, I'd be making trips there daily . Glomit
  18. Well, I was quite astonished *chuckle* when I found out that my comic shop was carrying Minimates that just happend to be Marvel Series 13. Whenever I've gone there, I have failed to locate a single Minimate. Then again, the shop is on the other side of town and I don't think I could make it there alive, with all the frenzied shoppers on the loose. Oh well, I guess my searching skills have abandoned me. The Wolverine and Colossus pack really grabbed me and found themselves a spot on my Christmas list. Glomit
  19. From the day I got those LOTR Minimates, I had always wanted to see one character in Minimate form: Denethor, eating 'till he blows. Along with a Pippin (Armour), I thought perhaps Denethor could come with a goblet, a messy face, maybe a couple of grapes . This all comes from the scene when Denethor demands that Pippin sing while he makes unpleasant noises eating. This is mainly a topic for LOTR Minimates that had no chance making it to the shelves. Just thought I'd throw it out. Glomit
  20. I went to the set last year and my brother showed Grace Park a Pohatu Nuva claw, which has an interesting likeness to a cylon raider. Actually, the cast (the ones we met) were actually rather shocked to hear that we watched the show. Grace Park is pretty nice about that stuff and not all "Get out of my face!" Glomit
  21. Oh my! That is one nice Hush you have there! Glomit
  22. Oh my God indeed. Yikes! Glomit
  23. Is a Masked Spidey with his lines going all over (as seen in trailer) possible? The only version we have seen is a totally black Spider-Man, minus the black outlining his eyes with a big, white spider emblazoned across his chest. From what I saw, the movie-style Spidey had a greyish/silver spider going across. Any thoughts? Glomit
