I see good things on the horizon actually. When we get NO new mates by Christmas, people are going to start selling their entire collections. Remember, when the rats leave a sinking ship, the vultures move in. Not the best anology, but you get my point. Well, I figured out what I'm doing. I decided Minimates would be too expencive, and in this case, not popular enough. So I am going to try and get a small run of 3 3/4" PVC figurines going. Like so. I really apreciate y'all help on this. If you have any ideas how to help make this happen, LMK. I know they aren't minimates, but I could still use a hand, even if only in ideas. I know from PERSONAL experience, that never works. They get hunted down and thrown out. It's a waste of time and ink and paper, because no one reads them and they get thrown out.

Oh good, someone noticed. Getting around the saftey laws... isn't it "has to be too big to swallow or to small to choke when swallowed" or soemthing like that? Meaning they may get around it. The hands and feet are small enough but the torse if too big. Also, who knows what kind of remolding will happen with these. BTW, there is a HUGE demand for any Count Chocula and Co. toys. I've read several letters to ToyFare about it, as well as Robot Chicken. And every time the bobble heads are on ebay, they go for lots of money. *shrug*

Well, what about a contest. "If you get 10 people that join and use your name as a refrence, you get a MMMV t-shirt" This would require 2 things. 1) a new part on the sign up, where you put down the email of the friend that told you. OR, you just make sure they give a name when they say hello 2) $3 s/h (and production) for the tshirts after you get 10 people that refrence you as a sorce. But that's shipping. Esentially it's a free t-shirt! I think it's faster and WAY cheaper then doing exclusive minimates. And best of all, it leaves the recruting up to others. Let's face it, who doesn't love free t-shirts? Good idea?

W(hy)TF would they give out diffrent exclusives? It makes no sense. We have no basis for Hawkgirl at all, and DCD has already said at SDCC that they'll have more at WWC. Unless you're just wishful thinking?

I'm deeply trying to ignore Civil War. Though my local comic provider says it's the best thing that's happened to sales since Origins. I'm curious though. Didn't they try the same thing in the first Xmen movie?
