  1. Ouch, I wouldn't want that to happen to my Xbox. My whole entertainment system is based around it, just like yours. Do you have a place to take it for repairs?
  2. Yeah, the Resurrection Ship would be a great addition, and then they could pair it with Blackbird, because her one only true mission was to take that ship down, and then they both got destroyed in the same 'ep. I felt for the Chief, let me tell you.... Too bad it seems the BSG Titans seem to be winding down, I was hoping they'd do the whole fleet eventually, plus Firefly's Serenity, seeing as she was in the pilot.
  3. That's a cool remix, better then most I've heard (and I've heard them all ). Hey, have you seen the vid where Soundwave ? It's amazing, and the best part is when he ejects Frenzy to join in.
  4. Always great to see somebody from 'tha land down unda', you guys are the best people on Earth, except for us Maritimers. My brother-in-law is from Sydney, went there for the wedding, never wanted to leave. Welcome to the board!
  5. I'm with you completely Valo487, there is nothing wrong with them putting out new variations of the black costume Spidey. I love the black costume, and really like the live-action look of it. But the original should not be rereleased, nope. Bottom line, what's the point of a variant if everybody and your uncle has it? And yeah, more Spidey villians, that's what they need to concentrate on! I want me a Mysterio and a Kraven! Quick, before Rami makes a new movie and the 'Mates have to look like the live action version. I want both Classic and LA versions, 'cause I'm a greedy, greedy SOB!
  6. An excellent choice, and the best way to get all the versions, in my mind. Getting that allowed me to take my other Downloaded Centurion out of package, so thank-you Suncoast. So, Cobramaru, are you thinking of getting any more of BSG 'Mates after that, or are you just feeding your collectors urge (mine won't stop screaming at me) until more new Marvel comes out?
  7. Very nice indeed, though I question the logic of painting a starfighter black, wouldn't that be kinda dangerous? Of course there was the Blackbird, it was black, but then it was a stealth ship, so.... ...is there a Titanium Blackbird? 'Cause if there is, now I really want it.
  8. I'm with you there, Vash, I too thought the "The Lost Room" was pretty amazing. I went into it with zero expectations and as each hour passed it got better and better. I love how the objects didn't all provide instant superpowers, like the Talismans on the old "Jackie Chan Adventures" cartoon, which is what I thought they'd do before I saw it. Some appeared completely useless except in really obscure circumstances, while others didn't appear to have any powers at all. I want me the Scissors, though.
  9. Amazing pics there, TENIME, I especially like that 'go-for-your-guns' pose you have Optimus in. I just may borrow it for mine. But like other people, the new Jazz was the prime reason (pun intended) for my visit to Toys "R" Us on Saturday. And they were having a 3 dollar off sale on the Voyager line too, gotta luv it. Now, I want me a Starscream, especially after seeing those amazing pics of yours. That scene of him in the latest trailer looping up onto the building and landing in bot mode sold me on him completely. I didn't really like the Protoform version of him, but the jet version in the film, wow....
  10. It would be interesting if a a future wave dealt with the younger versions of characters that are reportedly appearing in Razor. I'd love me a teenage Bill Adama. Wait, that came out wrong....
  11. I agree with that perspective, Cyc, and this might be the reason they've kept from reproducing another version of the black suit Spidey (until now with the movie version). There's just so many other costume variations to choose from. I mean, myself, I'd rather they choose to issue a Scarlet Spider before they repeat themselves and put out the Black SM again....
  12. An excellent collection Cobramaru, you have all my favorites; Hulk, Ironman, and Susan. How long have you been collecting?
  13. I absolutely agree with TBT! on the parts mixing issue, that was something I began to become conerned about back when wave-after-wave seemed to be made up of nothing but reused parts and repaints; that if this continued it would eventually devalue most if not all the previous 'Mates, because you could just recreate them from bits and pieces of newer releases, and not be able to tell the difference. At the very least such a thing would completely devalue any 'Mates not MIB. And then, many of those too, because it's very easy to put the later Marvel waves back into the cardstock boxes and re-tape them. I agree that it was very unfortunate the Symbiote Spider-Man was made a chase so early on, making it difficult to obtain for new collectors who weren't there to pull it off the shelf. But if you look at it from the company's point of view, way back when the black-suited Spidey's wave was first being planned, they never could have forseen the film series making the black costume into such a mainstream concept, thus creating a whole new market for the low-issued 'Mate. So it couldn't have been intentional on their part. As I see it, if they did choose to rerelease the BSM again, then they'd have to rerelease ALL the variants, IMHO, as it would be the only way to be fair to all those collecting. And the company so far has indicated that they have no desire to reissue the variants, as that was the point of them being made chases in the first place, so that they would be chased by collectors in the future. A problem of creating a new version of Spidey in the black costume is that the design was so basic to begin with, and varried little until the suit was converted into Venom. So, sadly, except for the new movie version, there really is no alternate of the alternate for the company to put out, sort of side-stepping the whole "can't reissue the chases" problem....
  14. Wow, it's been a year already? Amazing! I totally agree with all those who have said this is a fantastic forum, because it truly is, with equal credit for it being so going to both the suportive and creative staff for building a fun-filled atmosphere we all can enjoy, and to the regular posters who are not only beyond friendly but are also amazingly generous, in both the time they spend aiding new members and for their giving nature, which we've all seen demonstrated over and over again. I am proud to be a member, and hope Minimate Multiverse goes on forever.
  15. Sorry Patroit, but I'm pretty sure if anybody around here had a spare Javelin they were willing to part with they would sell it on eBay, because lately they've been going for some serious cash. I sold one of mine MIB in a BIN for, I kid you not, $260 USD, and I probably could have gotten 300+ in retrospect. I think eBay is your best bet, not trolling for one here. I mean, you could put an add up in the Flea Market, but I wouldn't count on it, sorry.
  16. Yeah, the eyes are different, for both figures, then those depicted on the package. On the actual figs the black outline is slightly thinner, allowing for more white, making them both seem a bit less insidious in person I think. There are other differences as well, like the chest symbols are obviously altered. I think the ones on the box are painted figs, while the actual ones are decorated with raised decals to recreate the 3-D look of the movie costumes. Of course, this is only my amateur conjecture...
  17. I hail from the seabound coast of fair Nova Scotia. And from what I can tell I am the only die-hard MM addict in the whole of the Maritime Provinces, having visited and/or contacted all the comic shops in these here parts. On the other hand, though, the variants are mine! All mine! Seriously, don't touch my variants...
  18. No problem you guys, glad to do it after all the first pics you've provided for me here. It's sort of nice for me to be able to get some early pics of a new set up, not much chance of that ever happening again considering I live on the Canadian east coast. These got here very fast, but I also won a Starbuck convention 'mate on the first day and I'm still waiting for her, it's been like a month. All a roll of the dice...
  19. I bought them on eBay in a BIN on the first day of the convention for next to nothing, gotta love sniping. Hey, here's some action pics...
  20. Just got home and guess what was in my mail! Yep! Take a gander... These are great mates, love the polished finish! Can't wait for the actual series. Well, gotta go pose them on the shelf...
  21. I've worked for close to five years to foster a good Minimate-related relationship with my local comic shop, which is the only way I'd be able to get all of these, variants included. On Wednesday when I was there paying for them, this other customer burst into shop when I was picking up the X3's and wanted the Phoenix variant, he looked ready to throttle me for beating him there, then the clerk told him the variants are always mine, and that did it, the guy stomped out ready to chew steel it looked like. Just wish the waves wouldn't keep coming week after week. Not that I don't want them, I do, but soon I'm going to have to start slapping them on my credit card...
  22. She does look pretty scary, now that I come to think about it. Hope she doesn't atomize any of my other mates. My one critque of the figure is that she doesn't come with a pair of floating sunglasses...
  23. Just got my X3's today (East Coast, what can ya do), and since I've yet to see a pic of the chase here... Also, here's her package...
  24. See, I knew there was a reason he was called Raft, thanks guys. Can't read every comic that comes out, just not that rich, but that series sounds like one I wish I had. Okay, now I want me a Raft Sentry, just so he can toss around my Carnage....
