  1. I would like Cammy, E Honda, Dahlism and Blanka althought none of these characters have been even so much as hinted at.
  2. Whats the X-Men fiasco? I used to love the x universe so much but now they have become like old school friends that occasionally pop up on face book with some out of context factoid now and then.
  3. Is Natalie Portman meant to be in this one?
  4. I had a look at all the characters that have appeared in the series thus far and as far as I can tell the only non minimated marvel character is Marrow so if we get any it would be nice if she was thrown in there, however unlikely. (has she been in a book at all in recent times?)
  5. Oh well I guess if comic dc mates happened now tptb would be pushing for nu52 designs and whatever bullshit is the hot trend right now and classic Legion of superhero characters would be roughly 52148th on the to do list.
  6. I said elsewhere (maybe even earlier in this thread, Im old I can remember these damm things) that the whole point of Aunt May is that she is a burden, a big old boulder around his neck complicating life. The more I think about it, the more I think the Sally Fields Aunt May missed the point, she whined about money a bit but then she when out and got a qualification and got her self a job and was useful during the final crisis. Her story arch about needing Peter to buy her eggs was a bit lacking because she was more then capable of getting her own eggs. There really wasn't any reason Peter couldn't conveniently have gotten a European newspaper correspondent job and jetted off to London with his hot girlfriend. Now this Peter is younger and needs somebody in a guardian role, but it's going to be a whole different dynamic which I'm not sure will bring anything interesting to the characters conflict.
  7. I wouldn't mind a clear Invisible woman/girl that came with some sort of shield and 3 or 4 clear hair pieces, a 60's first appearance style, an 80's mullet, a contemporary style and maybe a longer style that some artists drew her with.
  8. Of the characters announced so far, I wouldn't be distraught if this didn't happen. Of course there are plenty more to be announced so maybe I will be surprised.
  9. In my x-men display I have the original Xavier in my 60's x-men, hover chair Xavier in my 90's x-men and future Xavier in his wheeled wheel chair in my movie display and I haven't been overly taken with the need for an update by any of them.
  10. Why is everybody hanging out for Xavier
  11. Probably just me but I would prefer the masters of evil over the wrecking crew. Pretty unlikely I know but seeing them in avengers assemble has made me want them.
  12. Oh my I have really been enjoying this, Also it seems to be a text book example of how a show should handle pacing and information revelation. I was concerned about the idea of an "unreliable narrator" which I was taking as carte blanche for the writters to do what they want, but it is being handled super well.
  13. so what order are we meant to watch the netflix series in?
  14. maybe the new character is mastermind instead of toad for some reason
  15. what the hell is Random up to these days? has he been seen since that X-Force run? (not that this has anything to do with him being, or not being made just wondering the characters status)
  16. I know it has been said elsewhere but Im really hoping for the rest of the dark Avengers, Cap, Falcon and Hulk all look really good as villians, Widow and Hawkeye are pretty boring but still would want the whole team.
  17. Nice wave, hope they arn't too hard to get I have really been enjoying the NBX mates. The only odd thing in my opinion is that you have gone green and not white for GITD ooggie boogie
  18. And you all thought I was being a sarcastic arse!
  19. maybe it was the Garfield spider man that complained about the cost of webbing (old age plays tricks on the mind)
  20. Gonna agree to disagree on this one, in the original trilogy he lived in his aunts tiny house then moved to a really crappy apartment with a pay phone in the hall, struggling to get by on what ever he could convince Jamison to give him, begging to get a permanent staff job. He was at college on a scholarship which they threatened to take away at one point and all he really had gadget wise was stuff he made in his room from junk. He even bitched about the cost of web fluid.
  21. Another problem I have is by having Tony in the mix also rips a lot of the character struggle out of Peter Parker, He is now basically foot loose and fancy free with a financial backer to pursue superheroing, high school or anything else he wants with no struggle.
  22. Oh didn't you guys know, they are 100% totally announcing a silver age DC wave oh and Classic Star Wars.
  23. I have decided that I don't like a young aunt May. Her defining character trait is that basically she is a giant pain in the arse, she needs to be a burden on Peter to create his characters struggle. Upon reflection even the Sally Field aunt May was too young, she ended up becoming a nurse and she was more then capable of getting her own damm eggs.
