I was wondering if anyone here collects Trade Paperbacks of their favorite comics. And if so, if there is a good place to find/buy them online. Last year I swore off comics. I haven't read a comic book since November. I'm going through withdrawls, lol. I have followed Identity Crisis or 52 or Civil War or anything. I've tried to follow the details, but I haven't read any. Well, I can't take it anymore. I need to get back into it, but instead of starting to pick up monthlies again I figured I would just wait and pick up the TPB. However, there isn't a comic store close to where I live so I wanted to find a place I could get them online. I'd like to pick up Ultimate Spiderman Vol. 14 and 15 and Identity Crisis just to name a few. Any help is great. neo

I would be Pro. Here are my thoughts: If the heroes just sat around their houses heating up burgers with their powers this wouldn't be an issue. But they are in the lime light, they are on the front of every paper in town, they are the source of most topics. As American's we like to be an informed people. Sometimes we take it to extremes. Point in case, Lance Bass! Who gives a crap that he is gay. I knew he was gay after their first album came out. That was no suprise to me. However, I thought to myself if I was going to come out of the closet I don't think I would announce it to the world. But, because of the status of the celebrity it needs to be known worldwide. Well, heroes are celebrities of the marvel world and the same rules apply. In the end, to me, it comes down to choice. When a Pedophile gets released into a new community it is the officials jobs to alert the community. At that point, if I were in that place, I would make a strong petition against it or I would consider moving. Right or wrong, it's my choice as a free American. I think the same rule would apply in the case. If you knew that you lived next door to the Richards and your son plays with Franklin all the time you might think a little differently. In that case you should have the knowledge so you could make a choice what is best for your family. So yeah, in the short, Vote YES to the Registration act . neo

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I spotted the 2.5 figures yesterday at Target. I didn't buy any. The main reason is with the addition of the baby I'm kinda strapped right now, but I do hope to pick up a few very soon. There were priced as follows: Basic Figure Sets (Came with 4 Figs or 2 Figs and a Small Vehicle) $7.99 Small Vehicle Sets (Jetski, Dune Buggy, Exo-Suit, etc) $9.99 Medium Vehicle Sets (Jeep and Jet) $16.99 Large Vehicle Set (Helicopter Thing) ??? - They had 6 of them, but no tag. I didn't take it to the scanner, sorry . From the looks of it, the vehicles are AWESOME. Too bad they didn't work with AA and let them make their Figures, because those little GiJoes leave much to be desired. That being said, the Jeep and Helicopter thing were wonderful and I'll buy them for my Nick Fury mate . neo

I have never really followed DC Comics, but here are a few I'd like to see: Superman -Arrival Suit (Black with Silver "S") -Blue Electro Superman (Superman Blue I guess) -Superman in Space Outfit (Superman: TAS) -Superman in Lead Outfit (Superman: TAS) -Clark Kent -Clark Kent with "S" (credits Boyd) -Superman (Red Son) -Kingdom Come Superman (with grey hair) Batman -Batman Beyond Batman -Batman Begins Batman -Justice Lords Batman -Soldier Bruce Wayne (Justice League Season 1, forgot episode) -Aqua Batman (fins, special mask) -Space Batman (helmet) -Azrael Batman -Kingdom Come Batman While I'm not a huge fan or random batmen like Jungle Attack Batman or Supermarket Sweep Batman. I think practical variations like Aqua, Space, Pilot, etc. are cool and should be made. neo

I would just like to echo highroller. I have 4 episodes left on disc 4 of JL Season 2. I have all 4 volumes of Batman: TAS, all 3 volumes of Superman: TAS, Batman Beyond Season 1, and Justice League Season 1 and 2. Honestly, I had forgotten just how great these series are. I started watching the DVDs again on a nightly basis almost starting with Batman Episode 1. These truly are the Standard to which any company should pay homage to any Iconic character. The storys are true to the Icons, but they are also Fun and Dramatic and Action Packed. I cannot think of a better run on TV in history, animated or not. I'm really looking forward to the finals seasons of JLU and the Final Season of Batman Beyond. Well done WB, DC, and Bruce Timm and Paul Dini and everyone in between. neo

I agree Vox. One thing I loved about X-Men Legends II were the AOA Skins for the X-men. Even the first game had different skins, but II has some sweet variations. Now, if Heroes is trying to ride the tail wind of the Legends success they need to follow suit. And not only with GL. I'd love to see Batman in Blue and Grey and Black and maybe even Pilot or something like that. Superman in Black and Silver or even Justice Lords Supes would be awesome. However, I do agree if they are going to do any it should be multiple GL Skins. Heck, I'd like to see Both of Kyle's Suits, Hal, and Guy. I'll have to check out that site for myself . neo

It was like the standard suit, but there were hints of Kyle in you. In can see a pretty good comparrison shot here: John / Kyle - JLU and Kyle I would even be satisfied with an Animated Version like this, just please give us Kyle . neo

My belief on the variants goes like this. We are going to get more Spiderman Minimates. Period. There is no need to discuss that. As long as Minimates are made we will get Spiderman, Wolverine, Batman, Superman, Speed Racer, Aragon, whatever the case. Popular figures sell. So, the question is, what kind of variant do you want. Like it's been talked about above, I would prefer a true variant in the form of Spidey 2099 or Ben Reiliy. They could make the Amazing Bag Man, Captain Universe Spiderman, Silver Armor Spiderman, just to name a few. Iron Spidey is hot right now and I would almost put money on seeing him in the next 2 waves. Personally, I'd much rather see Iron Spidey than Porta-Potty Spidey in his classic costume with his pants pulled down . neo

I agree, although I'd prefer the final Green Lantern version of Kyle. That was by far my favorite GL suit ever. Seen Here: Anyway, don't get me wrong. As soon as I get my 2nd John or Hal I'm going to put on Robin's Head and Nightwings Hair and have my own Kyle Rayner. The only down side to the Kyle request, is he is no longer a Green Lantern. Sure, we may get an Ion Minimate (which would be awesome), but I'm afraid we may never get a Kyle GL . neo

Man, the Wii is going to be awesome. How can you only be excited about Smash Bros., it's not even a launch game??? We are getting Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: TP, Wii Sports, Warrioware, and Excitetruck all 1st party. Plus Red Steel, Madden, Marvel Alliance, and Call of Duty all 3rd party - and those are just in the launch window. The Wii is going to be best thing since sliced bread. I'm half tempted to sell my 360 just to get more Wii games.........Half tempted . neo

Holy Heck Yes. Me too. X-Men Legend (1 and 2) is one of my favorite series ever. They actually did with X-Men was no one else ever did before....make it fun to play. Even with all they are adding to Marvel Alliance, they are keeping the Legend core gameplay and that's enough for me . I'm also looking forward to Spiderman 3. I know it's still a ways off, but I will never forget when I first played Spiderman 2. It was a shock to the system and forever changed my view of a Spiderman game, so I'm really excited for what they are going to do with the 3rd game. Plus, with the addition of Vemon as a villian, you all know we'll get to play as him. All things considered, this is looking like a good year for licensed games. Marvel Alliance and LEGO Star Wars seem to top the list, but there are some other gems in there as well. neo

Hey, I have a quick question about Justice League Unlimited. I do not have cable so I haven't followed the Justice League seasons until this year when they started releasing DVDs (Season 1 and 2) I am catching up on what I missed last week and I found this pick from Comic-Con: Green Lanterns The Lantern on the far right looks just like Kyle Rayner. If anyone knows me, you know that Kyle is tied for my favorite DC character (him and nightwing). Anyway, without spoiling anything, I was just wondering if, in fact, that is Kyle's GL and if so does he actually make an appearance on the show? neo

Wow, I'm torn. While I LOVE the new Camaro (in fact I'm thinking of getting one myself) I really hate they are turning little ol'Bumblebee into a Full Size Sports car. Hopefully they will pull it off without a problem. In the end, I think anyone is a MORON for not signing on with Transformers the movie. Cars are one of the best items for product placement. Did anyone know much about an Audi TT until MI:2? What about a Ford Explorer......after Jurassic Park there were over 11 of them in my Neigborhood alone. VW is really going to miss out. neo

Not to burst your bubble, but Online Multiplayer was "Questionable" althought I fully believe that the big N will come through, because Smash Bros NEEDS Online Play like Snoop Dog needs Royal Papers. As far as the DS goes, I agree. It is by far the best console on the market, home or handheld. I already have Star Fox and Zelda paid off. Plus I just picked up Dead Man's Chest (after I saw the movie) and it's great too. I just don't understand why some people are still hesitant about the DS. neo

This is the Nintendo Wii. And yes, it has been confirmed. It will backwards compatable with all GameCube games. You will also have access to the Virtual Console where you can download (by fee) any game in Nintendo's library from the NES to N64. You will also have access to all of Sega Genesis's greatest games. The online service has been confirmed to be "Connect24" and it will be much like what the Nintendo Wifi Connection service is for the DS. Bascially you will have a Friend List (much like Xbox Live) where you can play with your friends or you can challenge anyone. Now, not all games have been confirmed for having Online Play yet, but they will in time. If not at launch, by the time Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Animal Crossing comes out. If you look at the DS it took a year to really develop their online play, but since then is a force to be rekoned with, so even if we don't get full online support at launch it is coming and it will change the way games are played - in every way*. neo *spoken like a true Fanboy

Here is a simple solution for everyone. Wait for the Wii ! It is going to be released September/October this year and really that's not that far away. It will come with full Backward Compatability (no download needed) plus it will have built in wireless access to it's completely FREE Connect24 online service. Now, this is coming from someone who has an Xbox360 and while I love Madden and Oblivion on the 360, come October my 360's going to be about as dusty as Drew Carey's love life.
