  1. I LOVE the music vid! That middle verse always bothered me. It's so damned near to irrelevant. If anything, I picture Dennis Franz sitting at a desk eating donuts the entire time. Did he ever even TRY to catch them?
  2. His middle name is Rich, and every order he gives is actually something he heard one of his subordinates say a week prior. I doubt everyone gets that, but I do, and it make me laugh. Yeah, it definitely operates on the "Dennis Miller principle"
  3. Thanks guys! And yeah, Iceman, I didn't realize it was that shoddy till I posted it... Real camera time today =) Groundhog, I assure you, it was nothing but parts swapping and putty (optional). I really DO want to toss on a bit of paint, but as I'm not much for painting, I may forego that out of fear I'll botch it. THIS! A thousand times! Except, technically, Natasha Romanov posing as Yelena Belova. With her Widow's Eyes optics!
  4. His middle name is Rich, and every order he gives is actually something he heard one of his subordinates say a week prior.
  5. Made my Ghost custom finally... Anti-Venom - head and bulked up chest + head with hole + Scott Lang helmet + silver leg straps from MAX pilot + Chris Redfield shoulder straps (backwards, to be painted dark grey) + Nathan Spencer belt/loops (- two feet and right hand + caulking putty to create phasing through wall effect) Question... does anyone know of any "tattered sleeve" Minimate pieces? I'd love to add some tatters, but I'm not sure such an accessory exists And, of course, the group in their entirety... (okay, this is actually from before I finished up with Ghost, and Taskmaster isn't in there either)
  6. Danny Ketch? Almost certainly has my vote now. He was my first Ghost Rider, and I loved his villain turn, so he'd be a tough one to steal the V from, but then again, there are so many great versions of all of these characters, who knows...?
  7. Isaiah Bradley is ABSOLUTELY Captain America, just as Bucky Cap is. And the costume is very recognizable, even if people may be confused by the man beneath
  8. I've got Ryu/Sentinels at my store in Indy. Call tomorrow before 4 and ask for Jason. We can ship one out to you with no shipping charge (anyone SHOULD be willing and able to do it, but just in case...) 3178419334
  9. Crime Master with modern Crime Master as a variant and Jack O'Lantern as the second figure could make for a great companion to the Venom through the Ages boxset
  10. Thanks Jatta. Also, this just gave me an idea - apply at the Disney Store when I'm there tomorrow =)
  11. Hellpop - I suppose you could swap out Wanda for Jen, but I was thinking a more ripped (though not QUITE so roided out as in the comics) She-Hulk might be a more useful addition than a redone Wanda. The Wanda that's out there is decent. Not perfect, but decent. Hawkeye's the set mover, JoH is the obscure "No other way we'd get him fig"... hey, maybe include Wanda and then make Wasp be an accessory for Jen/Hawkeye
  12. One more... Maximum Carnage! Spider-Man Deathlok Carnage Doppleganger
  13. This could be cool, but I stand by Team X - Logan, Creed, and North in their Team X gear with a redone Omega Red to fight. Lots of guns and knives, and maybe parts to make North into Maverick? Jim Lee X-Men? Wolverine, Forge, and Banshee in their blue and yellows and Legion as the baddie? Avengers Disassembled - Wasp, She-Hulk, redone Hawkeye, and Jack of Hearts The new Fantastic Four - Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Ghost Rider (w/bike?) Ends of the Earth - EotE Spider-Man, updated Black Widow, Sandman, and modern Doc Ock
  14. Yes, Stack. Not Stark. Stupid Avengers-inspired typo. And frankly, I wouldn't mind Aaron on his own, since his Nextwave inspired metamorphosis has carried on to his appearances in other books like Reed's Ms. Marvel and the Zombie books.
  15. Quite the contrary - while they seemed to have NO idea what I was talking about, they pulled out a little recipe box and wrote my name, number, and the item on an index card, claiming they'd call me when it comes in stock. Super nice, but AS a retail employee, I don't trust the system one lick. I'll be there Monday. As an employee of one of the two stores you just mentioned, I have to assume it's largely how corporate treats the employees. I LOVE toys, so I'm always happy to go out of my way for someone in search of that special something. That said... if it weren't for my passion, nothing about my company and their policies would prompt me to go above and beyond, really. At my store, street dates are hard coded into the register. If we try to sell something before its street date, the register flat out will NOT allow it. As a result of inattentive stockers, we've actually had to turn people down at the register before. "But you put it out on the floor"... we understand that, but there's LITERALLY no way to make the register sell an item before street date. Obviously, it doesn't sound like that's the case at Disney. Congrats to everyone who got their sets already! I hope to join you come Monday!
  16. So last night, I had a brilliant idea for a figure/variant that I'm SURE someone here has already posted, but... X-51 Machine Man (with Stilt Man extenders) and variant Nextwave Aaron Stark Machine Man Here you go. THANK YOU! PLEASE tell me this is a saved by the bell reference... But of course!
  17. I'm with you Nessex. He needs to come with a trenchcoat though. I was planning on buying several of the MU fig until I saw he didn't come with one. One of my favorite non X-Men, but x-related characters. IF he gets chosen, I'm buying at least six of him. Or more, depending on if I want to do his AOA version. I'm a huge X-mark, so it should be no surprise my top choices would be 90s Multiple Man, Purifiers, the Right, and some HAMMER troops coming in last. Honestly, I'd almost put Purifiers above Madrox, since I at least have him in SOME form. Purifiers would be TOTALLY badass and one of the few figures I'd feel the need to buy a LOT of. Zach, I know you're out there... any thought of going back to a two-troop builder system? Anyone who wants a Purifier PROBABLY would like a 90s Madrox, and then there's no waste on our end. I'd EASILY buy five to ten of this pack, whereas I'd top out at 3-5 of either character if packed with a non-troop builder.
  18. Ooh! Could I trouble someone for a Forge Civil War banner? Call me Jessi Spano, cause I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO... I'M SO... I'm so SCARED Zach! For my wallet, that is =)
  19. Thanks for the heads up on these, guys! I know where I'M going on my lunch tomorrow!
  20. How about a tiny Eric O'Grady with a female SHIELD Agent? Thanks for the heads up Zach! Can you tell us if a super miniature version of Ant Man has ever been talked about? ...either on an arrow or as a shoulder ornament or something? Silver surfer turn out so cool on galactus. Thanks Not sure it's ever been talked about, but Ask DST. Trick now is finding an Avenger we haven't done to death to package a tiny Ant-Man with. And have we not done a Wasp like that? I don't think AA/DST have ever done either like that. But Wasp IS a character from the Avengers that hasn't been done to death. I know she's probably not a priority right now due to her not appearing in any current comics, but a Modern Wasp would be a great figure & a tiny Ant-Man accessory would be quite the cherry. EDIT: Apologies to anyone offended by re-releases of characters, but i always liked the Black & Yellow design for Wasp & it's one character i wouldn't mind seeing again. Black and Yellow Wasp is ABSOLUTELY my favorite design for the character. A mini-Scott Lang would be great here, and hopefully we could find a way to work in a waist extender and give her a Giant Woman option, too, even though that only happened once or twice, I think. Heck, you could variant her and include ionically overclocked Jan from Secret Invasion. ^This^ Cool idea but it really makes no sense; they've never been active concurrently.
  21. I have ZERO interest in a Savage Dragon Minimate, and yet, I can't help but want to do this now. ARGH!
