For some reason, the only ones I ever see of the first wave are the VARIANTS at Target. I've never even seen the Regular Cap, IM or Wolvie. As for Wave 2, I always, ALWAYS see 1 regular and 1 variant of each. Gray Hulk is butt-ugly. He has these jutting brow things...yuck.

Has anyone seen these guys? Man, I wish I had a pic, or a link or something. They are Marvel versions of the cute and cuddley StarWars Galactic Heroes. Made by...um, who are these made by? Sorry, I am just not well informed... but if anyone has any more info, post it here. I think they look pretty cool and will definitely picking some up.

Wasn't that "Air Strike Wolverine" in the regular X-Men Toy Biz Series also wearing a sort of Ultimate-Style costume?

I don't have Indiemates, but is this the same leg joint problem as Target Nightcrawler? Or is this the knee joint? I remember a thread a while back (by whom I don't know) called "First Aid". Someone's Kabuki's legs broke, and they were asking how to fix it...

These, and Minimates in general, are pretty much there only for people who know they are there or are looking for block figures. Plus another thing is that kids my age (13-20) DO NOT PLAY WITH OR BUY TOYS. They figure it's uncool and just play video games. It's sick, but true. I heard about SFII mini's on MMC and walked into a Game Crazy and bought all five two-packs at once, for five dollars each.

Wasn't there a PC game? I loved it. It had these weird aliens invading, and a swearing military sergeant...Sorry, I don't remember much. I played it when I was probably three.

Y'know, Barbie does this too. Slap her plastic face on anything and it will sell. Maybe not well, but it will sell. Same with Marvel guys. Anyone see those POG things? Weird.

Did anyone actually WATCH the show when it was on the air? As opposed to just buying the DVDs. I for one grew up with these. Batman was on when I was three, and I still watch it on Boomerang. These depictions of the DC Universe characters have always been the ones I think of.

Oh, jeez...after looking at that Blob I think I'm gonna yarp... But otherwise, these look like much cheaper molds and such then the Toy Biz. I've been collecting Marvel Legends since the beginning, and I must say I am dissappointed. The only one I might buy out of that assortment would be the Lord of Asgard Thor.

Hi. I was wondering how many of us members are kids. I am not encouraging anyone to give out their real age, but let's just say 18 and younger. How hard is it for you to collect 'mates? I for one have a difficult time because I cannot order from the internet.

I actually can't order any stuff from the web... But, I do check TRU and Target, also I have a little comic shop near me called "Things From Another World". I get them there, too.

Got any weird abnormalities you'd like to share? Odd things you never really took notice of before, but you do now. Minimates with strange face apps, opposing color schemes, or all of the above. I've got a few, but sadly, I cannot post pictures, so share them among yourselves.

I wouldn't worry about them, it's tied to the number of posts you've made. The more posts the more dots. I for example have loads cos I spent too much time here and have way too much to say for myself T. p.s. You must have been around for a while:), you're calling me Timbo but my sig says TBT! I assure you, "That Bloke Timbo!" I have been around for a VERY, VERY long time. Plus, my first name is Timothy and my best friend calls me Timbo, so we have something in common.
