I started in again with Deadpool... and then it became Deadpool and everyone he's ever had a buddy comic with. After that I got into the Thunderbolts comics pretty heavy so I went after those... That being said, I am like Joe Hill in that I don't like to have more than one version of the same character. And just out of curiousity... for those of you missing very little... which are you missing?

I have a bloodthirsty bison sitting on my computer desk right now. He's pretty much impossible to lose... which is to say that I've never consciously made the decision to keep him, but he seems to be in plain sight whenever I move.

Is anyone aiming to collect a specific branch of minimates? Like only things that are related to Spiderman or X-Men or what have you. Or are most people into collecting everything that is released?

Liefeld's X-Force is Domino, Cannonball, Shatterstar? We already got Liefeld Cable right? I must admit I don't know much about it. Here's hoping the 1980's property is C.O.P.S: The Animated Series. Fighting crime in a future time...COPS!

Just out of curiousity... has anyone in the history of ever been really into battle-damaged versions of things? I just don't see the appeal.

I think this is the case for some of the earlier ones but not all. For example... I think Kingpin's face is at home amongst the new waves and he is just one of many that are.

When I started to get back into these I swore I would only ever get one Spiderman, and one Wolverine, and I've used up my Wolverine on Deadpool. That being said, it is probably my favorite Wolverine that they ever made. I probably would have used my Spiderman up on Transformation Venom but I didn't really want my one and only Spiderman to be the Cosmic version.

Deadpool is far and away my favorite of all time. As for one that maybe doesn't get as much attention... I've always liked the Swordsman minimate, I can't really put my finger on why exactly.

Yeah that Hulk is pretty ugly. What is wrong specifically with the battle damaged Wolverine? I'm not much for battle damaged variants but is there something wrong beyond that?

I took a look at that thread and it was buried in the forums and hadn't been posted in for a while. I saw someone post a fresh one on the front page and added to it. The forum is fairly slow moving so I didn't see a problem with it. I wouldn't have come here if I hadn't exhausted all of my easy options.

I suppose the little comic store I went to isn't going to mail me a new one. Do you work for them? Maybe you could help me, because you seem to have taken my customer service inquiry as a personal insult.

The place I bought mine from is an hour and change away from my house and I guess I don't love making a special trip for a tiny piece of plastic.

Mine was missing the gun so together we have a full figure. I've sent off 3 or so emails to DST and no reply so far. Does anyone from DST read these boards?

Thanks! I appreciate the help. It seems rather silly that they would let something like this out of the factory though. Oh well I guess? To add to the misadventure I've just noticed that Cable is missing a little gun that attaches to the back of his chest piece... What's my best bet for getting that sorted? Is Art Asylum any good at mailing something that menial to customers?

Does anyone else's Cable's head fall off really easily? It seems like the chest piece is a little too thick for his neck and thus his head can't clamp down on the neck piece adequately. I'm wondering if I should take it back or if this is how they all are. Also the hair piece on my Titanium man is not very tight. These are the first issues I've ever had with minimates and they both came at the same time.
