I'm not really a minimate completionist but I always try and "complete" the team. After kicking myself in the rear for recently trading for a human torch(invaders set), I realize makes me not want to buy that set. Although right now its hard to make the decision which Thing I like more. Or should I hmebrew the 2? And now I have the Stretch Attack Reed 'cause the WWH, so I don't know what to do about that pack. Plus it gains no favor from, what would be my favorite character, yet continuously a horrible minimate, Doom. I'll settle on the Namor but the defenders one still rocks for having that removable vest. Don't get me wrong I love the set, I'm just a little confused what to do with it.

After buying the Statue of Liberty GB set I thought how cool would it be to have historical figures minimated. Like Abraham Lincoln that comes with the chair resembling the memorial. Then you can do a variant, Log Cabin Abe. You can pretty much do an entire line of just presidents, another of famous generals and military personnel, then the infamous line containing popularized American criminals and outlaws. Hey take it a step further and lets do some world history. The conquerors line, Alex the Great, Atilla, Genghis Khan etc. I think its a good idea, would definitely get some great mates out of it.

Like what the smurf. I'm so smurfing sure. We just got the Ironman 2 wave but still haven't seen any of wave 7. I'm losing my smurfing mind over here.

What part of Jersey? I haven't seen these either Central Jersey. We usually see them 2-3 weeks after release, seems to be taking a little longer this time. Hopefully this is the reason why TRU hasn't shipped them, maybe they plan on shipping them with the IM2. I can dream right?

Another truck without seeing these in Jersey. Any other board members in the tri-state area still having a problem finding these? Or is it just my TRU still hasn't received them? Still plenty of Thor/Loki and a Klaw/Storm...... sigh. I'm a little worried I won't get to see these and I've never had a problem with the exclusives at my store.

Jersey is still dry. Been checking everyday for a week now. Looks like we got more GB2 mates but nothing on wave 7... lame. I plan on grabbing 2 hulkbusters to trade one, I'm pretty much specifically looking for Battle Damage Mr. Fantastic and WW Hulk so if you got one and need to bust some hulk, I'll post something once I get 'em.

I just started checking this week for these and only Thor/Loki at every TRU I go to. But the upc is pending from warehouse so it should be soon I hope. I'll try and grab both Hulkbuster sets to help somebody out.

Haha Wierd Al mates would be hysterical. But I just saw Predators, would love to see those guys as mates, 9 people and 3 predators, I smell 3 box sets.

I have 32. I'm not really a "die-hard" collector, I really only pick up what I like and what I think looks cool. As for favorites that's hard. I love Blade, comic Deadpool, Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell), TRU Bullseye and Stormin Norman Osborn as Iron Patriot. I love em all :biggrin:

Was in PA today came home and rushed on here to see if there was any word.... turns out there were lots of words. so after learning how to read these words that said "GET THE EFF TO TOYS R US" I got the eff to TRU only to find the usual. Hope I didn't miss them.

I think someone mentioned that 5 weeks after the package shots are released they ship them, is that true? or atleast whats held up as relatively true so far considering TRU track record of stocking shelves. Cause that puts it this week, I'm going to check tomorrow in the AM.

I really hope these come out tonight. I plan on being pretty wasted/mischievous so I might stop at a couple openers to see what all the hullabaloo and sales are. But these mates are the ultimate goal of the night lol. Everyone is blowing up the swordsman/silver surfer but that drug running old man hawkeye is a mighty fine mate.

I'm too impatient why aren't these out yet? are we gonna see em anytime soon?

I'd Like to see a 2099 set. Personally I loved the Doom 2099. Radian would make a sick minimate, plus I'd love to see Vendetta from Punisher.

The Surfer looks nuts. I was in TRU today askin if they'd seen these or got word of them coming in but they are like talking to brick walls. Anybody else got some info on the shipping or when we should expect to see these?

I been celebrating Halloween for 2 days now and got 2 more to go, matter of fact i just walked in from a party, and gotta say thank god for spell check lol thats a great face. But my first night I was Micheal Jackson, don't worry I'll try and get picks up, tonight i made this mask that looks like Dr Dooms mask, and tomorrow i made a wolverine costume but idk if i like it so i may go with MJ again cause that was rocking. As for what I'm doing heading up to Rutgers, and as the kids say "doing the dirt" haha.

After reading all this it's easy to say I'm very lucky. I happened to get my BE/MS pack from Big Apple Cominc Con and just today I walked into my local TRU to find one Angel/Warpath staring at me. Not to go against what anybody in particular but I like the fact TRU gets exclusives and hard-to-finds. The Zapp Comics by me is garbage and is run by this jerk and I never want to rely on them to get me something cool or rare, especially for a fair price (this guy has huge mark ups). Although it does make it much harder for a lot of people to get it if its carried by one retailer and they are doing a poor job distributing, which happens to be the case with TRU. Like I said, just today I happened to stumble across the Angel/Warpath pack, and to be honest it looked like they just opened up the case of lot 4 (there were 2 Molecule Man/SpiderWoman and plenty of Spidey/Electro and Xfact wolvie/vault guard). Meanwhile I was in there on Tuesday and they only had stuff from lot 3, and 4's been out since the end of September. I never bothered to asked if they had overstock in the back but from now on I'm going to, especially to get my hands on that freaking awesome SS/Swordsman. Lot 5 looks amazing, Scorpion looks great, I want Capt Marvel/Blackbolt so bad!! forget these freaking different Spidey costumes though, makes it hard to spend 8 bucks for one minimate you'll like (reason why I don't have an Electro right now ) And while we are on the subject of TRU, my store happened to have a BE/MS laying around I plan on going back tomorrow and getting it let me know if your interested in a trade

Hey all! I'm new to collecting Minimates, fell in love with them since I went to Big Apple Comic Con. I used to collect Star wars figures and have a nice collection of random stuff which I pretty much just love looking at . I was instantly hooked on these things, I brought home from the con the Avengers 1 box set, A bullseye and moonstone (I had no idea they were hard to get so I guess I got lucky ), and wolverine and deadpool which is such an awesome set. Since then I have gotten the ultimate cap and shield soldier, the Dark Avengers 1 set, and just today grabbed myself the Angel/Warpath TRU exclusive. I like what I have so far but Im going to be posting a list for wants/trades, looking forward to talking with you guys!
