I would love GI Joe mini-mates!!! It was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. Although, I would skip on the variants. I hate having to try and track down all the extras and spend the extra cash. One of the things I liked the best about the DC line was no variants.

I haven't bought any minimates in awhile, but I might have to get these ones. I'm lovin' the Ghostbusters as well!!!

Mine is a very cool batgirl skrull. I keep forgetting to post the picture, but I'll really try for this weekend.

Mine came in the mail on Friday!!! It totally rocks, thanks so much!!! It goes in my favorite mini-mates along with Mr. T, and anacost's custom of Red Sonja. I'll post a picture after x-mas.

I guess I can understand not having visitors, since there is food involved. Maybe they'll have a special mini-mate signing. I'd just love to go and meet everyone. I love the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Ace of Cakes!!! I'd love to see a box set from the show. Plus, the Iron Chef ideal is great, but for me, only Iron Chef Japan....the original. Throw in Guy from DDD. and Paula Dean!!! That's awesome!!! It makes me love the show even more. For those who are interested, the show is on Thursdays at 10pm with 2 new episodes. Plus, you can catch the re-runs during the week. I wish I had a trip to Baltimore planned, it would be so awesome to have Duff sign my mate!!! I really hope they make more of the other bakers!!!

They are all awesome!!! The Spidey ones rock, plus I do love the Dr. Doom as well. Hmmm....it makes me think that an artwork book might make a good next fundraising project. Your work alone would be like an encyclopedia..... I don't think there would be copyright issues if no one is making money....

Any thoughts on when the auction is going to start? I think listing them individually will bring in the most cash, plus get the most people involved

I just wanted to add that you all are doing such an awesome job. I haven't been popping up as much due to my lack of funds. Its painful to see things you want, and you can't get them. However, things are getting better, and I'm really looking forward to the auction!!! The customs have just blown me away!!! Everyone involved deserves a giant pat on the back. The next charitiy idea is great too!!! I'm a big fan of the ASPCA, and the work they do for animals. That might be a good use for the animal thing.

Storm....thanks for the great update!!! I'm hoping to make it to the SDCC next year. Silence of the Lamb mates sound very interesting. 1 quick question: Did they give any clue about what they were going after next: GI Joe, Transformers???

1 - With the merger, will we see Buffy and Angel mini-mates? There are just soooo many good characters. 2 - Future thoughts, are there any thoughts on acquiring the rights to the Bond movies or the Xena Warrior Princess TV series? I just think there would be some awesome minimates with all the villians and girls from Bond and all the mythical creatures and characters from Xena.

Is it true that Target will get 'special' Spiderman 3 minimates that are different from the comic store set?

I love the history idea....you could do a whole wave on famous military leaders....US Grant, Alexander the Great, etc. Plus, I think a little mythology would be cool. Imagine centaur mini-mates or mintaur.... They could market them to schools as educational toys. What kid wouldn't be more interested in the civil war if he had a bunch of action figures to use. Then, more kids would be interested in buying the other mates because they used some of them in school. Maybe I should switch to marketing as a career.....lol What I would like to see, though, is a series of Minimate historical figures. Imagine Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Churchill, Ghengis Khan, Sigmund Freud, Picasso, etc. Even modern political figures would be cool. They would be great for when our superheroes go on time traveling adventures, and AA wouldn't have to pay any license fees. And you could part-swap them into civilians, too.

I e-mailed the company, and they said that Marvel bearz would be available in the US later in the year. Hopefully the price will be a bit lower.

I just received 3 Bearz in the mail yesterday: Spiderman, Venom, and Carnage. I have to say that they look great, and I love them!!! The only problem is that I've only seen them offered in the UK. Does anyone know of any US companies that will be selling them. I'd like to buy more, but the shipping and exchange rate are rough!!!
