Damn! My top two choices were Mortal Kombat and MGS. Now that they have both been ruled out...I'm not as excited for this videogame license reveal anymore unless...did we already rule out Street Fighter???

Yeah, they've been out since December. I haven't seen anybody restock these lately so if you find any out in the wild it will be whatever's been picked over. There's some info back on page 10 of the order they come in and how many of each figure are in the wave if you do happen to stumble upon them.

They look like aliens! I would love to the colorful 80's Turtles make the Minimate makeover. Throw in Splinter, Shredder, April and a Foot Soldier and we've got an entire wave. It's funny because it's true!

Those Dark Turtles have already been released by Playmates since about early December along with Super Shredder. Those have been my favorite Turtle gimmicks so far so I would love to see them be in the upcoming Series 6.

Yeah, the Sony stuff lingered even when it was clearanced down to like $3.49/$3.99ish at one point. It just kind of happens sometimes where nobody is really interested when it's available and then as soon as they're finally gone all of this interest for it suddenly appears. There was a Target Exclusive Star War Black Series Shadow Squadron set that was clearanced down to like $15 because it wasn't selling and now you can't find one for any less than $100.

I don't think so. I remember seeing both of those lines in stores and online. The Sony Playstation Minimates hung on those pegs for sooooo long.

That's good news for me! I'm still bummed it's not Mortal Kombat. I would buy Street Fighter or Metal Gear Solid Minimates. I don't have very high hopes for the video game reveal. Going back to Assassin's Creed for a minute. I just don't think it would do well if Tomb Raider didn't make it past one series and the Sony Playstation series (Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Resistance) didn't make it past one series either.

They have to rerelease them at some point. I wouldn't mind having to get yet another Mikey if it came with a set of those.

There's a comic book for that now. I've got a friend that reads it and says it's awesome.

I just can't imagine Assassin's Creed Minimates doing well enough to go beyond one series. Now that Mortal Kombat is officially out of the running, I'm pulling for Metal Gear Solid.

I bought 5 Minimates 2-packs yesterday with no issue. It must be a weird rule for that particular store.
