Robots are awesome. I have no customizing talents, but I'll definitely be checking out the auctions for buying/donating opportunities. I'd love to see some Daft Punk style robots.

I am very excited for this set. I've wanted a smaller Elite to go with my Halo Medicom figures since I got them. Great license!

Saw it today as well at my local store. Looks like a factory screw-up. Oh no! I hope Luke's still has enough Silver Age Angels to fill our pre-orders. I guess we'll see! At least there will be plenty of Blue Angel/Multiple Man sets for army builders, I was getting worried that I wasn't going to be able to find any.

For standard Minimates I'd say Nightcrawler or White Queen. They are so unique and true to the source material. Plus, the hunt for Nightcrawler adds to the love. My favorite custom, and overall favorite, is my Sherlock Holmes I bought for this years Charitymates auction. He's just too damn cute.

Wow, shipping is a lot from these sites. This could be someone's gift to me this Xmas, so no biggie.

I just got the game in the mail, but promised myself I wouldn't start playing until after midterms. So, Saturday for me! Hope you like it. The box is red.

The Dinos I'm missing from Wave 1 were Large T-rex and Coelophysis. I never got Dennis or Ellie Wave 1 either. I had the vehicles, but not the JP1 command base. I really liked the aesthetic of the original few waves. They were simple, and the cards/baby dinos that came with were a nice treat. I remember setting up a jungle scene in my front yard in the tall grass and playing with them (gingerly and never in the mud, as I was neurotic even as a grade-schooler). Many fun days with those dinos...

I'm so excited for the First Appearance set.

Thanks to my new Goth Girl I have 58 unique 'mates. Once Christmas time rolls around and my Luke's order is shipped I'll have a few more!

I have tons of dinos, vehicles, and figures in storage. I'm thinking about selling them because they really aren't being appreciated. My favorites were the big triceratops with Dino Damage, my screaming Spitter, and of course all of the raptors. One Christmas I got the mobile command unit from JP2. A couple figures I always wanted was the Galimimus and Utahraptor, but could never find them in the store.

I got one randomly in the mail today. They didn't choose my question, but I did post the widget on my blog. I did not receive an E-mail or anything. She's pretty cool and I'll definitely be holding on to her. Thanks Barry!

It looks like the author will be giving away the promo at his book signings according to his October 19 update.

Oh man, I would have jumped on those Domo Qee double packs. I may have to check my Target soon.

I suckered myself into entering their giveaway, here: http://www.megabrands.com/en/kids/halowars/giveaway.php . Just got the figure in the mail. Didn't get the camo one unfortunately. The figure is a good size, but the shotty he comes with is disproportionately large - I guess to mimic the look of the Halo Wars characters in-game. The weapon is perfectly proportioned to the 2 inch Medicom figures though, which where it will be living on my shelf. Overall I am satisfied, but I will not be buying any more of these.

I didn't know the dazzler went to a board member! How's her hair holding up? The hair's holding up well. And she is front and center for a reason - she's one of my favorites. Thanks again.

Hey, you bought my Sherlock Homes! Awesome! It is my favorite Mate at this point. I'm going to try to find some more furniture for him and make a whole study scene.

Got my figures from Wave 27 today as well. Does anyone have any official word on why the west coast got these late? DST shows this wave out of stock now.

It is a really odd situation. The comic store I pre-ordered Wave 27 and 28 from got 28 on time, but no sign of 27. However, I've seen the Ultimates at comic shops closer to Portland (more expensive though).

I want more X-Men villains, so Toad it is.

My Gambit was missing his staff and my Wolverine did not have eyes painted on his mask. Luckily, I purchased this wave from my LCBS and got them both exchanged.

A testament to quality control. Today I phoned my LCBS and they had got Wave 28 in. I got there and they pulled 3 boxes that they had been holding for me. I got home and, as usual, gingerly opened up each box. I noticed right away that Gambit was missing his silver staff! No big deal, these things happen. I took the figures back and did a straight up exchange for a new Gambit box. Thinking everything was taken care of I sat down once more to enjoy my new toys. Then, I noticed that my Wolverine was blind! He had no eyes painted onto his mask (see picture). I drove to the LCBS again (that's 3 times for you playing at home) and again did a straight up exchange for another set. What's going on with the quality control? Judging from the photos of Wave 27 I've seen in other threads (poor paint jobs and whatnot) and the two flubs I had today it seems like less care is being taken by the quality control crew in picking out some of these inconvenient mishaps. Up until today I never had a problem with new Minimates. Has anyone else seen an increase in these issues? But, all things worked out in the end and I am very satisfied with this wave. Gambit, Sabretooth, and Deadpool are all great.

Same story here in Washington, Storm. Looks like the West Coast has been seriously screwed this time around. Time for an emergency response from DST... Same in Oregon, I pre-ordered my stuff from the LCBS months ago and they haven't had any word on when they are getting them.
