I am glad to hear Battle Beasts are selling well, but the TRU located in Bloomington, IL still has never received a single case of these. I am still looking for one set of the Bat & Moose. I have one set coming from TENIME_art, which I am very thankful for his assistance so I can get at least one set. I only hope that by the time the new TRU Star Trek assortment gets released that my TRU here in Bloomington, IL will get a shipment or two so I can get Janeway and Seven. Maybe by then they will at least get the second wave of Battle Beasts.

Nana and TIger Lily are missing from this set and I would like to see them at some point. But you are correct, TENIME_art, we don't need vehicles for every Disney line of minimates. An Aladdin set could be: Aladdin with mini Abu, Jasmine, Razoul and the Sultan. A second Aladdin set could be: Jafar with mini Iago, Genie with mini lamp, Prince Aladdin & Rajah. Carpet could be included with either set or even in both. Then there could be a little Mermaid set that is Prince Eric, Ariel (in mermaid form but include parts to make her human) with mini Flounder, Triton with mini Sebastian and Grimsby. A second Little Mermaid set would be Ursula with mini Flotsam & Jetsam, Max (Eric's dog), Ursula in human form (when she attempts to steal Eric's heart) and Chef Louis. Will need a butcher's knife for the chef and a trident for Triton. No need for any vehicles at all in this set, can u us the Jolly Roger as Prince Eric's boat just remove the pirate mast. For Snow White there could be two five packs. 1) Snow White with Bashful, Sleepy, Dopey and Happy. 2) Charming, Evil Queen, Doc, Grumpy & Sneezy. No need for any vehicles here since there weren't any in the movie other than a horse. Accessories could be pickaxes for the dwarves, a Mirror for the Queen, A sword for Charming, and a mini blue bird for Snow. Not sure how sets would work for Cinderella. 1) Cinderella (in her common attire) with mini Jaq and Gus, Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming and the Grand Duke. 2) Lady Tremaine, Anastasia Tremain, Drezella Tremaine & Princess (Royal Ball gown) Cinderella. There could be a vehicle with this line which would be the Pumpkin Carriage and would need Minimate Horses to pull it, so I doubt it would be made. Just some thoughts for a few of the more popular film lines. But I would like to see a box sets of 1) Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy; 2) Donald, Daisy, Clarabelle Cow and Scrooge McDuck; 3) Chip, Dale, Gadget, Monterey Jack with mini Zipper; 4) Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and Shere Khan with Kaa; 5) Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit and Christopher Robin with a mini Piglet.

I was just in Indianapolis and visited the Castleton Square Mall. I found both 4 mate sets and the Jolly Rodger with Wendy and Smee. The ship was $29.50, and the two four packs were each $19.50. While my wife was shocked I spent that much money on Peter Pan minimates, I sort of wish I would have gotten a second set with Hook and Tinker Bell. I will be opening my Peter Pan mates just to display them but not sure how I will do it just yet. I will likely make a background and then set up a case I have that should hold the Jolly Rodger (fully assembled). I am now wishing for future Disney minimates.

Still no Battle Beasts in Bloomington/Normal, IL. I was in Indiana (Lafayette & Indianapolis) and went to several TRUs and they all claimed to have never seen them in-store at this point. Tomorrow is likely the day my local TRU will get them but I am out of cash and have no way to be there because I am out of town. I only wish for two sets of the Bat/Moose mates. Could anyone help me out? I am happy to see what I have that you might need for trade. I would like one set to be in package and the other could be loose if all accessories are included.

I still have not had any Battle Beast Minimates arrive in Bloomington, IL. I am getting very upset. All I want is the Bat & Moose set. I just like those two figures and that is all I want from the line except I got the snake from Luke. I am hoping that by the time the Star Trek Mates come out that TRU will get them in a better manner than they are getting the Battle Beasts.

I appreciate the "wanting to get it right". I just feel like it has been "hurry up and wait" for so long for the possible return of Star Trek minimates since the announcement of the Enterprise. I just wish we were also getting the once announced but withdrawn shuttle craft. So at this point even with the delay in the TOS Enterprise, are any other ships coming out for Star Trek? A DS9 runabout? or Voyager Delta Flyer? or a TNG shuttle? or a Ferengi Marauder? or anything? That would be sweet of DST to release a second Star Trek vehicle quickly after the Enterprise is finally released. I would appeciate it for all the delays we have suffered. I know, Zach, you can only release the approved announcements and I am not taking this out on you. I appreciate you sharing with us. I am just disappointed with the retailers and such and how long it has taken for the Battle Beast Minimates to get to the stores (which they still have not made it to the local TRU in Bloomington, IL yet and it is frustrating as I really want the Moose & Bat. I have a feeling that when the time finally comes to release the Star Trek Legacy TRU Wave of minimates, I will never see them until months later. Star Trek is the primary line I collect and custumize for and I have been a diehard Star Trek fan for over 30 years. I just want to complete my crews in minimate form from all the Star Trek series. I was going with what Luke has posted on his site. March 13 2013 is what he is stating now. I just hope that the wave of Legacy Minimates is on time and we get them in June or whenever we finally get the TRU wave. As much as I have longed for the return of Star Trek mInimates, I am tired of waiting longer than we were originally promised. It is getting very old.

Are they refering to the Ship or the Minimates Enterprise that has been delayed to March 13th? I am really hoping we get this Minimates Enterprise this time around because this is the third or fourth time it has been delayed.

So today was the day that my local TRU gets their truck, and yet again it was another day that they did NOT get Battle Beast Minimates. I am getting so upset with TRU and how their stock gets distributed. They got nothing new in the form of Minimates (no TWD, no Marvel). I don't understand how strores all around my location are getting them but yet the Bloomington/Normal, IL store is not getting them. This is really upsetting me and I am at my wits end, because the only real set I am wanting are the Moose/Bat set. I have access to all the other characters but not the Moose and Bat. I am hoping that I will have my hands on them by my birthday in March. Just venting......thanx.

The Enterprise apparently keeps getting stuck in space dock. Will we ever see the ship? I really hope it is release on the new date if not before.

tones: you have some valid point as do all of us that have been posting in this thread. I have made customized versions of most of the TNG Crew but I would gladly purchase the originals from DST because they would be offical versions. I just hope that DST will do their best to get us the crews of each series before they cancel the line in the future. I am hoping to get three of each set that TRU will release but just when will this wave actually hit TRU pegs? Battle Beast still have not been seen in my local TRU. I am just hoping that Waves 2, 3, 4 ,5 and so on keep coming and keep interesting characters in the waves. The original wave 3 had Sarek and Brainless Spock and those in my opinion were duds. However, I would love to see a Vulcan or even Sarek in Vulcan Robes but we don't need more Kirks for a little while as variations of Archer, Janeway and Sisko can still be make. There are a few more variations of Picard but just don't make one series limited to LCS or TRU. Enterprise is only available via LCS and Voyager is only available via TRU in the Legacy Wave 1 releases. I just hope that TOS can take a backseat and let all four to the prequel/sequels could be focused upon and the once we get all the main crews complete then go back and do the countless variations of all the characters from all the series. I never thought of Shelby but I would like an Ensign Ro so good idea with the "Best of Both Worlds" set. I would like to see two "Q-Pid" sets. Picard as Robin Hood, Riker as Little John, Worf as Will Scarlet, Troi or Crusher in merry man costume then the second set could be Vash as Maid Marian, Data as Friar Tuck, LaForge as Allan-a-Dale and Q as the Sheriff of Nottingham. This would satisfy that fun set. I would like to see Data and LaForge as Holmes and Watson, good idea on that one, Monkeycrumb. "A Peice of the Action" would be a nice two-pack as we don't really need more from that episode. A variant of Data would be Lore and then they could always either include the body parts for a B4 or give us a second head for us to make our own B4 with the body from Spock's Brain Spock which means I would need to get a third Spock's Brain Spock for the body. I don't care how we get them but I want a full TNG Crew more than anything else from Minimates at this point.

While I really want a full TNG Crew as well as full crews for DS9, VGR & ENT, I don't mind getting variations of Picard and Sisko. I just hope that we get a box set of four TNG Crew members, a box set of four VGR crewmembers, a box set of four DS9 Crewmembers and a box set of 4 ENT crew members. There are a few ways that DST can keep collectors and the average fans happy: One: give us our full crews like they did for TOS. Two: give us limited variants of the same character. (Meaning okay this wave gave us two variations of Picard so the next wave should give us two variants of a different crewmember-like someone suggested a two pack of Will Riker and Data for TRU and a Tom Riker and Lore for LCS.) Three: give us the shuttle craft that was once announced but never saw the light of day. Four: give us more ships with exclusive mates not a redesigned character. (for example: give us Enterprise NX-01 with T'Pol or Tucker then give us the Mirror NX-01 with Mirror Archer or T'Pol. Give us Enterprise-D with Geordi LaForge and then give us a Battle-damaged Ent-D with a visorless Geordi LaForge.) Five: The series specific boxed set of crew members: 1) TNG: could be Dr. Crusher (with lab coat parts), Deanna Troi in Starfleet Uniform, Worf and Yar (could have an extra head for Dr. Pulaski and an extra head & hands for Barclay or O'Brien); 2) DS9: Quark, Dr. Bashir, Major Kira and O'Brien; 3) ENT: Malcolm Reed, Hoshi Sato, Dr. Phlox, T'Pol (could include extra head and hands for Travis Mayweather); 4)VGR: Neelix, Kes, B'Ellana Torres & Tuvok (could include extra head and hands for Harry Kim) I am looking forward to getting several of the TRU assortment so I can make a Picard from First Contact. I only hope we get more variety of crewmembers to be able to complete each series and then I will be very happy. JMO Thank you.

The clerks at my TRU last night told me after I stated I did not see the peg for the Walking Dead minimates where it has been since they had them, "Oh, that means we are not carrying them any longer." And then when I asked about Battle Beast Minimates, they went to the computer and said they did not even see them in the system. I have been looking for Lori and Terry and then the Moose and Squirrel (pun on the bat it would have been very funny if it was a flying squirrel).

I am very upset with the local TRU here in Bloomington/Normal, IL. They still have never received the Battle Beast Minimates and now they claim they will no longer carry the Walking Dead minimates. They have a full peg of the Tekken vs Street Fighter line and that is about it. Tons of Halo Mates dusty on the pegs and lots of Frankenstein and Dracula mates but that is about it for mates other than very picked over older Marvel mates.

So went to my local TRU and got there about ten minutes after they opened. I was very upset that they have yet to get any Battle Beast minimates. I was told last week that they said they would be in this week. They didn't even have any new Marvel or Walking Dead mates either. All they have is the same stock they have had for almost a month now. They need to clearence out the stock they have as Halo, SFvT, MvC and the spidey movie mates are starting to collect dust there. I so want to get the Moose & Bat set and then I will be happy until the Star Trek mates make their return.

We alredy have a Dress Uniform Kirk, but we could tolerate a Khan in the golden tunic that he wore in "Space Seed" when he joined Kirk and the crew for the Captain's Dinner. So if they wanted to shake things up, Lt. Givers who left Starfleet to become Khan's wife could be a welcome addition to the ST Mates Collection. Not sure there are any other necessary variations of Kirk needed other than him in the Environmental Suit form "The Tholian Web". Then we would need McCoy, Spock and Chekov in the suit as well. (Could even have it in a transparent version to look as a ghostly figure like Uhura saw phasing in and out of our realm.

I will be callng the local TRU here in Bloomington, IL on Thursday to see if they got the Battle Beast Minimates in and any other new mates. That is the day of the week they get their trucks. I can only hope as I have a little cash I can use to get a few sets. I read somewhere that the prices are likely going to go up to $8.49, but I hope they remain less for a while yet.

The last Cardassian had two faces on the one head and it was just fine. There can't really be a problem. I think it is a good idea. I am all for the double face and it could be done as just a single tampo and wrapped around the head. Either way, I am excited to get more official Star Trek minimates.

At the risk of sounding like more of a Trek fan than I am in reality, I happen to know off the top of my head where Sisko wore the vest. It was the first episode of DS9 to feature the grey collar uniforms. Season 5 episode 10 - "Rapture" (when I say 'off the top of my head', I mean that I remember seeing him wearing the vest and after a minute of thinking through it, I recalled what happened in the episode. I then looked up the episode number) Incidentally, I always thought it was weird seeing Sisko wearing the vest undearneath the unzipped full uniform (see image). But the mate (sans outter jacket) looks awesome Thank you for refreshing my memory, I now recall the episode but I never really recalled what Sisko wore. Anyway, I will do my best to get three of each two pack, so I can then make Picard from First Contact where he wore the vest while hunting the Borg that were converting his ship. I can't wait.

Ok, so we get an Official Captain Janeway and an Official Seven of Nine. (I say that because I had made them for myself already.) I was correct about getting Picard in the captain's jacket. I don't recall seeing Sisko in the vest, but I will get three so I can make Picard in that attire and keep the third set sealed. Would never have guessed for a Cardassian, because it was said there would be no army builders in the TRU line but then we get a new Borg but not sure it is Hugh, but I am glad to get new Borg parts. I think it is interesting that there are only 6 mates in this wave. Will there be a chaser set that just hasn't been announced yet? Also the placecard stated the TRU line is slated for May 2013 and the Legacy Line that was already announced was slated for June 2013, what is up with that? Also how acturate are those dates? I am happy to see that once these sets have been released, we will have official Minimates of all the Captains. Howver, I would really like to see more of the crew from Enterprise, TNG, DS9 and VGER. We get Seven of Nine but then we still do not have any Riker, Data, O'Brien, Dax, Tucker or T'Pol to go with their captains. (I have my customs but I would like to have official mates if at all possible.) Does the Cardassian actually represent a named character or is it just a generic Cardassian (does he have a double faced head piece so we can turn it around and get a slightly different character? Zach, I promised I would not ask anymore about the TRU Star Trek mates, but I was curious if TRU would be getting the Enterprise with Kirk vehicle? Can you share if there will be more Trek minimate vehicles if the Enterprise is a success?

I am tired of seeing the ones that are starting to collect dust (Halo, MvC and Amazing Spider-Man movie). I wish they would get the Battle Beast and fresh shipment of the Walking Dead so I can get a Lori Grimes. Ok, Zach, I will try to hold back my desire to know what Star Trek minimates are coming. I can post my ideas from what you shared and then see what others think. I would venture to guess that we get Environmental Suit Archer, Locutus of Borg, and different version of Sisko, no Jem'Hadar, no Xindii Reptilian. I would venture we could get Captain Terrell from ST:TWOK with the same Kahn mate; We could get a T'Pol with the EVsuit Archer; We could then get Data with Locutus; We could get the different Sisko with either Bashir or O'Brien. T'Pol or Data could be the "technical" alien. These are just a few of the thoughts I have been having. Since Zach stated none of the TRU mates are "army builders" it would be a given that the Xindii and Jem'Hadar would not be in the mix. The Borg Queen would also not be an army builder since there was only one of her in the Star Trek Universe. If there Captains get new looks that could be anything really: Picard in captain's jacket, or in dress uniform (white movie version) or as Locutus (which is my choice since we got the Borg Queen); Sisko could be in dress uniform; Archer could be in the away team jacket, or an environmental suit or in the "Desert Crossing" attire. I am sure we will get Captain Terrell with Kahn but Kahn could be how he is after the battle before he dies. (the new look for one of the secondary characters. So if Locutus is the "technical alien", we will then get two new characters to replace the "army builders." Thank you Zach for what you have shared but I think it is odd how the Specialty Store Legacy Line was already announced and the TRU line can't be announced yet. However, I respect your position enough I will not press for more, but I will be reviewing everyday until I see the news. I CAN'T WAIT!

So Zach, if you are stating that there will only be about half the same characters but in different outfis, and the other half are different; will we see Janeway or Dr. Carol Marcus or Odo or a Founder? Will we get a Suliban or Data, Worf or another TNG or DS9 Character? When will they announce the TRU line up? Please share at least that bit of info with us? Those of us that got into minimates due to the Star Trek minimates are owed at least that much, please? I liked the 3" minimates and wished that they would have made the full TOS Crew (at least Uhura, Scotty, Sulu and Chekov) before stopping that line. However, I LOVE the 2" minimate line and I am really happy that DST/AA are finally reviving the line. I have spent several hundred dollars on minimates for parts to make custom Trek figures and I will still purchase any minimates that are Trek even if you make ones I have already made. Now I only wish we would get the battle-ravaged Spock with the Shuttlecraft as well.
