  1. Interesting that the DCD mates all seem to have a base white body. I guess this was to allow for the most accurate color possible. IMO, it works.
  2. Yeah, I agree with you Reid. If they do Kyle I'd prefer that "classic" costume. We got Jay and Ted, Alan will hopefully grace our shelves soon.
  3. Hehehe "Parts Re-use Wave" That should actually be an official title in some cases. Kinda like DC's "Reactivated" Or let's make 'em "PC" and call them recycled....the environmentally friendly wave!
  4. Hi, Reid! I wanna know why we got a Ronin instead of an Iron Man.
  5. Thank you to all. Now the rest of us just have to be patient 'till next week. BTW, Cap and Fury look great!
  6. So, it's Wednesday. Did Series 12 arrive in west coast comic shops? Also, if anyone has Sentry pics, please share. Thanks.
  7. True. Hopefully we'll see the official solicits. Wouldn't surprise me if the DCD site was wrong. It's possible it was changed to avoid people thinking that these were coming out by their original release date.
  8. Sorry, I should have been clearer. The release date listed for waves 1-3 is August 1st 2007
  9. Um, anyone have any idea why waves 1-3 are listed with an August 1st release date on DC Direct?
  10. You know me, Reid. It would have to be DC! Finally the DCU in the palm of our hands! emember all the great speculation the surrounded the initial report that AA could make all the JLU characters? Now we're getting all the classic characters we've always wanted. Icing on the cake? if we start getting a wave each month! I know where my toy cash will be going (divided with Lego of course!)
  11. Okay, I stared at 'em for a while longer and you guys are probably right. It coulda just been the positioning in the pic giving the illusion of them being the same. Croc does look bigger.
  12. Looks like Ares and Killer Croc will be standard Minimate size not the larger KISS, LOTR size that they appeared to be in the original illustrations. Same will probably be true for Bane then.
  13. I would assume "classic" since he's paired with his old comrade Deadman. Man, this is great news! While I would love to "knock-out" all of Batman's rogue gallery and allies in 1-2 waves (I'm really impatient to fill an Arkham Asylum!), I kind of like how balanced this seems to be; there's a little for everyone(well, maybe not EVERYONE...but a good start!). It may take a little longer before we all have our favorites, but at least they're making an effort to reach everyone unlike the X-tremely unbalanced and X-centric Marvel Mini's(sheesh, what a mess!). If only Marvel's were released in this fashion we might already have a Thor, Dr. Strange, Namor, etc., etc. instead of multiple variations of the same f#@%ing X-Men over, and over, and....ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz..... I agree totally. DC has come out of the starting gate with the right strategy IMO. Kinda funny in a way because alot of their AF lines are based on either a specific artist or storyline while the Minis are more iconic. I know alot of AF collectors don't like Minis (their loss, lol) but this is great news for those of us who have been wanting classic versions of our favorites for a while. Cool thing about Minis is that some easy part swapping gives you even more variant style figs like a Deadman with Boston Brand's head or an unmasked Barbara Gordon (I always like secret ID figs ever since I picked up my first Batman Mego fig w/ removable mask when I was a kid-yes I'm that old!)
  14. Wonderfully incredible! I wonder which Spectre we're getting, classic Corrigan (I hope!) or the modern version.
