  1. Send me a rough design or a source image and I'll see what I can do! Hey Fujis, If you have some free time, see what you can come up with, You seem to have the head/hair/mask sculpts down pretty good, and I am terrible at it, been trying for awhile now, but the the way you captured the lower half of this mask is really close to what i have been trying to pull off. here is a pretty good image of what i'd love it to look like thanks a million dude! http://www.maj.com/gallery/amishpolack/mis...oecc1f_cmyk.jpg http://www.maj.com/gallery/amishpolack/mis...oe4bcsample.jpg
  2. great stuff fujis, love that mask! now I demand you make a full mask like that so I can put it on my cobra commander
  3. the bombermate is one of my only unopened mates. Hey gang, do you guys think we should have a list like the gold/silver spideys?
  4. Not to steer too far off topic(sorry Timbo) but we'd be going to North Wildwood.......or down to Rock Hall, MD on the Chesapeake.
  5. You know I'll be up for that Tim!.....I'll more than likely be at the Philly con as well LouieB, unless the wife drags me down the shore
  6. Good to have you aboard SithSpawn! I too got started collecting these little dudes after getting a free one, Mr. T, and now am a die hard collector. very addicting!
  7. I personally would love to see a Genis-Vell/ Captain Marvel , or how about a Snake Eyes/Stormshadow 2-pack and kick off some G.I. Joe minimates (probably faint though at the announcement of that )
  8. I have to say I love the Spider woman's added articulation. I have been trying some experimenting of my own with the feet, and biceps swivel arms, but that torso is something else man! very impressive work there my man, can't wait to see the finished super-duper articulation and paint apps
  9. Hey Fujis, thanks! The shield is done over a captain america shield using miliput. It was kind of fun to add all the dings and dents to it The sword is from a custom lego set which i bought about a year ago from this online store. I just repainted them. http://www.brickforge.com/ here is a picture of the weapons unpainted, along with a better shot of the shield, helmet, and cape
  10. Hey Mini Myte, here is the one I used when starting out, I'm looking for some more detailed ones, a lot of good stuff on this site. I'll post up some more stuff if I can find it, Some of the other ones I used aren't working any longer. Hope this helps some http://www.minifigcustomizationnetwork.com/howto/897 http://www.minifigcustomizationnetwork.com/forum http://www.fineclonier.com/Decal_Application.pdf http://www.fineclonier.com/Decal_Design.pdf http://www.fineclonier.com/Forums/viewforu...05da195ecc151bd
  11. That Metallo is awesome, looks factory produced..........and the transformers ain't too shabby either
  12. Hey gang, its been awhile (some pretty lousy stuff happining) but wanted to get back to page one with this guy. Its my Spartan, hope you like! and here is the guy from my avatar, just a random quickie, until the rightful owner of that new hairpiece get finished (but I may just leave this guy as is, I kinda dig him  )
  13. Me and my buddy Eagle will be there.....you know I gotta get my Slave Leia picture!
  14. gotta be Thor for me, one of the reasons I kept collecting was hoping one day he would get made. so what do i do now that my #1 mini is being made? I am really curious as to how I'll feel once the wait is over for Thor
  15. maybe i'll try to get some stuff done for this one, always been nervous (seriously) about putting in my customs. i
  16. In the works my man a little teaser...well, maybe not so little
  17. this is one of the ones that makes me think about hanging up my customs making shoes.Seriously, I love the added detail. Truly a great piece! So, when's Hawkeye?
  18. I think its what they may have planned, if this one does really well. I read on another site they have models for a few more already. I too have to do some serious toy budgeting as well...but I did hint to the wife that my birthday is next week, right after I showed her the set, lol
  19. I got a start on this already  so you know I'm on board with it. I think this would be a great time to include a mate with the dvd set, since there's only that one other guy in the show all the time
  20. still no pics huh what a bummer, I'm really interested in seeing these guys and the packaging as well.
  21. I think easier than trying to rework a vehicle, all I would do is try add a few extra layers of bricks here and there where it wouldn't interfere too much with windows and doors. But, it might not even need any work, As a backdrop for a display I would hope it wouldn't look too out of scale. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted. I am just amazed at this set. There are a lot of homemade cities/buildings/castles etc out there which are super detailed, but to be able to buy it this way, is an awesome step. Usually the buildings have been so-so, and I am being nice by saying that.
  22. I want classic t.v. sets myself: -The A-Team....with van, of course -The Dukes of Hazzard(which I am watching now as a matter of fact), with The General Lee, Of course -C.H.i.P.s., Ponch and John, and you know the motorcycles would be cool - Classic BSG (hoping they do show up) -Starsky and Hutch- mainly for the car -Knight Rider- The Hoff, and KITT, need I say more
  23. Hey guys, I just stumbled onto this set, and man do I want it! I have been wanting to try and build something like this for quite some time, but never wanted to search for all the right pieces I would need. Now I don't have to, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this beautiful set. Priced at $140, I don't think it is that bad considering you get over 2000 pieces. what do you guys think? I hope I am not the only one blown away with this set, and I've read if this does well, others are planned, which will easily link to the corners of this one. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=238512
  24. Hey RJBrian, great idea for a thread!, I was wondering if one would ever pop up like this. I actually have a bunch of lil' nervous' planned, and a few designed already from various times, of my life, with about three halloween costumes planned. Here is the only one I can truly say is of me. I used my old Dress Blues as the reference for this. I am going to redo it at some point, I tried getting the ribbons exact, which was tough on this scale, so I just have to tone down the detail a lot. Dress Blues Nervous
