DST just keeps finding ways to take my money. Plus, I'll be able to get the Armored Daredevil mate - something I didn't think I would ever see. Maybe there is still hope for Darkhawk, Spider-Man Unlimited Spidey and the Joe Wade Scarlet Spider.

Hey guys, it looks like I have a handful of extras as well that I would be willing to part with. I am also looking for a few FCBD comics (Atomic Robo and Friends, Star Wars, GI Joe) if anyone can help me with those - especially Atomic Robo.

I will admit to being one of the ones that did cast a vote for Symbiote Bond Spidey. I honestly didn't see a lot mates within the selection that I, personally, have much of a desire to have as part of my collection. Couple that with the fact I do collect the Spidey minimates and it was a no-brainer for me to cast my vote with the old webhead. I also don't necessarily agree that if Spidey wasn't in the top four that there would be any guarantee we would see the same figure later. Mock ups are done up all the time, and the version could change if he wasn't one of the top vote-getters. As a result, I would rather be able to add Spidey to my collection now then wait for a potential release that may never occur.

I called my shop this week and was told that they should be in the store next week. I'm hoping that this remains true, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The Scarlet Spider - I've always identified with the character and felt that he got a raw deal. After all, he was someone that had nothing to lose by disappearing but instead worked to find a family. I respect that and really wish the character hadn't been tossed aside so quickly and needlessly.

BHM - I just want to take this opportunity to remind you of the vile, plotting minimates that are surely collecting in your loft as I type. Let it be known that the only way to truly protect yourself is to lure them into a plastic or cardboard prison and then ship them across the Atlantic to my address. Only within the confines of my den will these figures be held at bay by my growing legion of Scarlet Spider and electric Superman merchandise. As much as I hate to say this, especially given the $130 price tag, the Slimmer edition does seem to come with a lot of bonus items. I love the minimates, but really like the Slimmer statue and key-chain as well. From the promos I've seen, the game looks like it could be extremely good as well. I think I'll be waiting for this to go down a little more, but it's one that I'll be tracking for a while.

Just went to the Erie, PA TRU today and was able to locate the Union Jack/ Wonder Man set but didn't have any luck with the Punisher one. I also picked up the Spidey/Green Goblin set and noticed that they had the others in stock. During my visit, I also secured two extra Union Jack/Wonder Man sets. Awesome! I didn't have a lot of interest in the box set but I really, really like the TRU exclusive.

If the contest is looking at literature, would this also include characters from mythology and/or the Bible? This could open up the contest to a wealth of interesting characters and stories. Additionally, this would help with some of the concerns regarding Public Domain issues.

I did read it, and no comment is probably the best thing I can say about it. Seconded - Ultimates 3 is pretty much an abomination especially when compared against the first two volumes. Absolutely loving the Ultimates Captain America and most of wave 28, with Psylocke and the Skrull being the only two I don't have much interest in. Looking forward to these being released.

Granted, I know I'm still a newer member here but I have to say that the flea market area has been one of the most helpful areas of the website. Not only have I been able to obtain a lot of tougher to find mates (Black Costume Spidey and Iron Fist) but I love the Trade It Forward and Want/Haves threads. Not only do these threads help me and many others with our collections, but I think it strengthens our desire to track these down and engage in the various minimate discussions. I would hate to see it go, but could understand why if the mods are getting bogged down with complaints about these transactions.

Here's potentially a couple more: War of Kings - featuring Dark Hawk, Gladiator, Vulcan and Black Bolt Ultimate Alliance (Video Game) - Dark Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Beta Ray Bill and Battle Armor Daredevil (this could easily be altered due to the range of characters and costumes featured in the game) Annihilation Conquest - Quasar, Star-Lord, Drax and a Space Knight (esp one that looks like ROM) and my personal favorite.... UltraForce - (owned by Marvel) - Prime, Hardcase, Prototype and Topaz

I'm down with an Alpha Flight set as well as an AoA X-Men (Weapon X, Jean Grey, Cyclops and Nate Grey), Guardians of the Galaxy and Inhumans sets. I also wouldn't mind a set based upon Captain Britain and the MI13. However, how much bribery would it take to rig this so that I could get an UltraForce set featuring Prime, Prototype, Topaz and NightMan?

My dad was in the US Air Force and we were stationed at Alconbury from approximately 1983-1985, so some time has passed since then. Ahhhh now it all becomes clear... You didn't say it was Cambridgeshire before! You know, this really does explain a lot - considering I started my education there! Between that and Postman Pat and his bloody black and white cat, I'm lucky I'm as normal as I am!

I always loved the Amalgam universe and would have to say Dark Claw was my favorite from the series. This is just spectacular! Awesome work Chaz!

well I think the new Cap design stinks lol....honestly I cant get into it, may try the trades, but in secret invasion and so far in new avengers I havent seen anything to get me excited....plus I know karamazov is a good guy that likes to help us non-americans-who-hate-their-canadian-tru-for-not-getting-these but I will buy the minimate happily and use it in my story/comic/movie project just for the heck of it Jeff of the Miniacs Not to single you out minijeff but anyone that hasn't given themselves an opportunity to read Brubaker's Cap run is seriously missing out. I can relate to the crowd that didn't want Bucky becoming Captain America, but Bru did such an excellent job with Bucky that I simply love the fact he took over for Steve. The first omnibus can usually be had pretty cheaply and contains the first 25 issues of the series. I recommend it to everyone!
