Hulkbuster is online at TRU website, if anyone is still looking for him (3.75, not minimate). And some from the rest of that series too. Like the minimate version, an awesome figure!

My Silver Cent Tony hed is fine... Ill trade ya for a Stilt Man leg... I've got the staining on my Neo-Classic Iron Man. Also, the helmet for the silver centurion doesn't come close to going all the way down on Stark's mellon. I got red stains too but it's around the mouth/cheeks and looks good enough to me to be a drunk red variant. Disappointing but I will probably leave the helmet on anyway.

Yeah, the Hulkbuster from the Rider series. I honestly don't keep up with ML prices but one guy who had it at a toy collectible show was selling it for $75 but the price may be more inflated there. I saw the Wondercon White Lantern Sinestro going for $95. I thought the Hulkbusters were pretty common too and was expecting $30-$40. I should have gotten that figure years ago.

I wonder if anybody is going to post pics of the 3 different Hulkbusters (Marvel Legends, 3.75, Minimate). The 3.75 and the MM versions are my current office toys and I'm not paying $75 for a ML version.

Guess I was too late to the party to grab them. But won't people get confused now about two different listings of the Whiplash and War Machine sets?

The only feasible way I can see to increase the number of exclusives is to get rid of one. I mean three unique 2-packs per case with even ratio instead of the “newly” implemented four per case with uneven ratio. Currently, one is a consumer friendly exclusive (WWH, Surfer, Hulkbuster) and the other is a collector friendly exclusive (Molecule Man, Old Men, Lockjaw). Depending on a case by case basis, have one repack and two exclusives or two repacks and one exclusive. This’ll probably kill the collector friendly exclusive but I’m okay with it. The number of repacks out there isn’t affected and there are more exclusives on shelves. I don’t think the consumer friendly exclusive is saturating the market since there are rarely any left over but the collector friendly exclusive somewhat is since a decent number of stores have them pegwarming for a while. My other idea was instead of four 2-packs, make two box sets but in the end, I wouldn’t be too thrilled about it if I had to buy three repacks just for one exclusive.

MY TRU's in CA say they always get there shipments in late Thurs early Fri and they always end up going on teh rack by fri evening. 3 TRU all said the same thing. But cant be sure about FL. Im so stoked, they are arriving. good times. My suggestion is to call another TRU nearby in the same county. The TRUs in the different areas I visit get shipments on different days. I believe that if serviced by the same distribution center, they'd all get it the same day. Alternatively, you can call the same store at a different time and hope you get a nicer employee. That's kind of what I do but in person.

Well, I suppose there's no hope for online TRU to get this wave. Too much of the previous pegwarming. It was nice not hunting while it lasted but Lockjaw and Hulkbuster are worth the hunt for me. I haven't been as excited for any Marvel figures for a while. So joint release with series 36 and TRU wave 7 (kind of)?

I got mine through my LCS last month. May 19th to be exact. I saw them at another comic shop too last week so comic shops should have gotten them by now.

If I buy 2 sets, will the two toads, you know, multiply?

Nintendo apparently has a booth at SDCC this year. I'm hoping that they demo the 3DS there. Oh please please please please! If not, Skyward Sword would be fun enough.

I'm guessing that somehow your computer is blocking the image of the barcode in the confirmation email. If you can't see the barcode, you can't see your registration number. Both are in the same image and the email confirmation from SDCC has it nowhere else typed other than in the image. Not sure if your anti-virus or firewall or whatever is blocking it.

Well, the only saving grace about the painted on glasses is that Jubilee will have a face that is all even. Not like that Cap where the mask and eyes were off and you had to move the mask up high to get things to line up right. Still bummed about those 90s shades, though. That was a defining characteristic of hers to me in that era. Maybe she has fireworks attachments? I can hope, right?

I didn't think of the new post thing (since I don't use it). I'll definitely try to do that. And yes, I plan to remove items sometime after it's released, like a month. I was considering a graveyard to put them in somewhere. Maybe a separate thread? I don't want to clutter that release thread. I just haven't figured out that far yet...

I'm just glad to contribute, even though TBT commanded me to do it. And you don't want to mess with him, right? I wasn't sure if adding all that other stuff would clutter it or if you guys just wanted something simpler so I just threw everything I thought would be good and let you guys see. It's something new so let's see where this goes. This was actually kind of fun just revisiting the older news and brought back the days when we had long droughts between waves. Getting it setup didn't take that long. Just the formatting and wording, all the little details, took a bit of time. Personally, the one thing I hated was adding the release dates. Most of the time, we don't know until the last minute. That's why I added the announced date so someone can try to figure out the theoretical mathematical formula. Oh, and I was disappointed that I couldn't find those Cap box set concept images. Anyway, I'll probably keep tweaking it here and there but I'll announce any newsworthy updates in the subtitle and in the top of the first post. Other than that, enjoy!

Looking at the bigger picture, is Wolverine so battle damaged that he's cross eyed? Or so battle damaged that he has no eyes? I don't remember a Wolverine minimate with no eyes yet. This is a unique first, I think.

It will just be first offered at SDCC. Any left over will be sold elsewhere and other than the Glow-In-The-Dark Stay Puft last year, I don't think there's ever been a Minimate sellout. This seems to be a DST exclusive so other retailers will sell it too, like AFX. Heck, even at the show, I see multiple booths selling the DST exclusives. My experience is that the DST and AFX exclusives eventually end up in Previews and you can order them through your comic shop. It may take a few months for it to show up in Previews, though. I'd assume Luke will carry it too, if he can. You can also probably ask nicely to someone who is going too but I think it's too early for people to start begging. So basically, don't worry at all and I highly doubt you'd have to pay for more than MSRP.

Wow, Dr. Comics & Mr. Games has minimates? I never knew that or knew of any retailer in Bay Area that still carries them. Well, I never visited them though I heard they are pretty good. I'll have to see them when I go back to visit my family. Would it be close enough to take a fun BART ride and visit the place for maxcarnage? Just want to make sure he finds something.

It was great hearing other member’s comments regarding this. MMV will always be evolving and we have to evolve with it to keep it a great place to visit (or call home ). I just thought I was in the minority and being a grumpy old member about this.

Well, T, may I just entertain the thought of that ‘master thread’ idea? I guess it could also be called an overhaul of the “Where Are They? thread. My idea is to make it similar to the master feedback thread. No discussions, just post release info (convention exclusive, Borders exclusive, dates, wave summary, etc). The MMV mod team or a volunteer controls the first post while the rest of the MMV community supplies the info in the following posts while keeping conversations to a minimum. When whatever news is official (AA blog, Luke’s invoice, multiple trusted member TRU sightings, etc), the first post, when convenient, would absorb that data into the master list and delete the related posts. Of course, people would still break news through a new or existing thread but this would be a reactionary thread dependant on community support, not just mods. I understand that the master feedback thread is a pain to maintain, but news is slow enough that it won’t require too much updates to the first post. And even if they do, the community will be able to help too with updates and, in theory, wouldn’t be too long that a new member would be overwhelmed. I would think that this would be helpful in TRU sightings, convention exclusives lists, future IM2-like releases, and saving trouble looking through existing threads. The wave 37 thread is already 9 pages and I don't think we know release date or what Spidey we're getting yet. We just know the characters in the wave. Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, T, but I mean well.
