  1. Yeah, I could be wrong. I thought an account was made for her, but its not necessarily true. Nevermind. Well, I think I may have been wrong. Who else are females?
  2. I fanally found these locally. At TRU they were not with the Darktide sets, they were with the other DVDs in the video section. They had 2 Capn A and about 5 Iron Man. $14.99.
  3. Yeah, share with you a lot of the same observations/feelings/connections about these tiny plastic figures. Its hard to tell what is happening or coming our way. Things seemed very solid when we were getting about 2 Marvel waves at a time every 6 to nine months and C3 first hit shelves. Now lines are becoming extinct before they even get a fair shake on the maket and its been (seemingly) an eternity since we got a fresh Marvel wave. SFII minis seemed like icing on the cake, but were never going to peak my interest much. Speed Racer was a huge part of my childhood television days. To me, Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman) were the coolest shows on the planet back in the day. Seeing Speed in minimate form will be cool, but not epic. BSG is a cool show, but seemed cooler back in the original episodes (which I never missed). For some reason, I just can't get excited about this line. I am not sure if I am just not interested anymore, or if I might subconsciously think the line is doomed before it even sees the retail light of day. So why bother. Not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic. Rocky & Cereal mates. Why? Cool for mini-mates in general (I guess), but I fear they could continue the trend of cancelled mini-mate projects and bring even the big licenses like Marvel down with them. DCD. Bring these on! I am ready already, whats the dang hold-up!
  4. Who transformed Nathaniel Essex into Mr. Sinister?
  5. What villian and mythical creature does Paul Cartier (a prevoius unknown camper/hunter) become?
  6. Actually, its M.O.D.O.K. I need the right foot to complete my Giant Man. I only have Galactus, Sentinel & (most of) Giant Man. My son has them all.
  7. This will probably mean no more exclusives, but there will still be other entities picking them up and of course we can always hope the Cons get new exclusives in years to come.
  8. The Medicom Cereal Kubricks were indeed released in the USA. In fact, the last time I saw them locally was at Tower Records who dumped the last of their stock several months ago for $1 each and still had trouble moving them out. As far as a third wave goes... Medicom tends to keep their release numbers on these small and there are plenty of Kubrick collectors who will buy some of them. I had 2 of these myself. Tony the Tiger is on my desk in the building I used to work in (being renovated after Katrina) and the other was the Gorilla that I dissected for parts. Now, on the other hand, if they make the Monster Cereal mates (Fruit Brute, Boo Berry, etc), I will buy those, but only because I am a freak. I still would not see them being good selling material.
  9. Neither can I! I like minimates, and all, but sheesh... Medicom already tried this and it bombed. Why would AA even attempt this I wonder.
  10. My 2 cents is availability... Where were they? How could you find them? Most of us are web savy and can track them down, but what about people who don't know they exist? What about the younger folks and those who just aren't as active on the net?
  11. I am right there with you Danny. I don't get it either...
  12. I have this Aragorn loose but unplayed with if you want him.
  13. OOh, might need that one. If that office were bigger and an actual office instead of a cubicle, it would look like my digs. However, I can't get away with jeans and a t-shirt... BTW, that corporate zombies set is a must-have for me!
  14. Yeah, but can also be depressing and downright temper flaring...
  15. These cereal mates were a tired concept back when Medicom did them as Kubricks...
  16. Survey completed, now bring on the Tom Baker Dr. Who!!
  17. Hey Bubba! Its good to see you finally speaking up. I'll see you next month and I will bring more minimates with me pal. Also, I have been telling a few of these guys what a great artist you are. You will need to show off some work one day.
