Lazy was the term I should have used. Sorry for any confusion. I had no problem with the regular versions of movie Spidey or lizard. They turned out to be pretty neat. In all my years of collecting marvel mates I've rarely complained about them, but I stand by what I said. These, to ME, are boring and lazy. I'm speaking for myself, not the whole of the minimate community. It's my own personal opinion. I'm sorry if it doesn't suit you. DST should have used actual sewage. Maybe then they would have turned out better. I agree, that IM hostile takeover mate is the cats pajamas. It's at the very front of my IM mates.

I cancelled all my preorders with AFX and decided to go with Luke's Toy store instead, as he seems pretty good on prices.

Whether I chose to buy them or not isn't the point, the point is that, some minimates are just poorly executed. The sewer battle lizard is virtually identical to it's regular wave counterpart, with the exception of a few scratches and splotches of sewer gunk, and the spider man, although slightly different, is just the same movie spider man with mud, or whatever it's supposed to be splattered on him. I'm not hating on minimates, quite the opposite actually. What DST cranks out 99.9% of the time is pure unadulterated awesomeness. I love collecting them, I still get goosebumps when I open them, and I get stoked for every new wave that's put out there. With the exceptional quality that we've been spoiled by lately,(i.e. Modok, Hulkbuster, Best of 1&2, Venom through the ages) I can't help but to be disheartened when they just aren't up to par with the rest of them. I will ask DST to make a Stan Minimate, I hadn't thought of that, will do.

I would love that! That's exactly what I'm saying, we get a lot of garbage exclusives like that, why not some love for Stan? Garbage? Wow. I just did not care for the sewer battle exclusive. It felt unnecessary. The same goes with the Iron Man 2 exclusive with Tony and Black Widow in the leopard print dress. They're not exactly bad, just not my cup of tea.

I've recently been going through my Marvel Minimate collection upon my recent acquisition of a swanky new display shelf, and I've been noticing that there are a ton of lackluster civilian characters. Namely Aunt May from the new Spider-Man movie, the Punisher War Zone thugs, etc. It somehow dawned on me, why not a Stan Lee Minimate? How awesome would that be? I'd put him front and center in my collection. He's been in the comics, just about every movie, he's just as much a Marvel character as Hulk or Spidey, so why the hell not? Anyone agree?

I'd love to see the rest of the worthy. Are there any plans to make them? I don't remember seeing any prototypes.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll contact AFX and see if they can resolve this. If not I'll consider buying from somewhere else.

I order them usually one at a time, as soon as they are available for preorder. I have seen none of them yet.

I've been a marvel minimate collector since the very beginning and I pride(/shame) myself on having every single one of them and have kept up with them without fail. I've been buying them from AFX ever since I stopped buying them from my local comic shop, which has been more than 4 years now. For some reason the past few waves and a few of the more recent box sets have yet to be shipped to me. This usually isn't a problem, but I know for a fact that these have been released for some time now. The most recent examples are the worthy and mighty boxed sets, the best of wave 1, the best of wave 2, and the strange tales box set. Has anyone else noticed that they are pretty behind on their stock? In any case, I'm thinking of cancelling all of my preorders and buying from someone else. Where do you guys buy from that is pretty reliable?

Looking over this list, it looks like all the best ones were already made. I went with Puma.

That's why I didn't vote for any Brotherhood members, I don't want one of them, I want all of them. Toad, Avalanche, Blob, and Pyro would be the perfect boxed set. I agree.

Why not just make a box set with all of them. I'd buy it. But seriously, a bulked up Blob would be pretty rad.

I'll still keep buying them until either they stop making them, or until I'm dead.

I still can't order the rictor and boomer pack. The add to cart button isn't showing up. Anyone else still having this problem? Is there someway to add them to the cart other then clicking on the item first?

I've had the same problem for the last three days. I think maybe something is wrong with the website.

I can't believe it... They kept stringing us along all this time. It's a shame he's finally getting made. Now we have nothing left to look forward to.

I agree. There's too many. They just keep pumping them out without any breaks in between. If we were getting consistently new characters, it wouldn't be so bad, but there are way to many rehashes like the recent best of wave. Although it will never happen, they should just make a 40 pack of new characters and save some time.
