vbpanizzi where in the world did you find a batcopter?!!! My haul was getting an extra 5 pack of modern cylons at FYE for 13$. Now they just need to clearance the series 1 2pks that are just sitting there waiting for me to snag.

I agree the gaping hole in my collection is Flash, Martian Manhunter, and tactical Batman. I even searched for these when they were in the stores and still couldn't get what I wanted! I had to get my Superman minflyer on ebay. These are going to go down, I think, as the hardest to find regular release minimates.

I got the DST love today too! I was jealous reding yesterday that people were getting free mates in the mail and thinking to myself that there wouldn't be a reason for me to get some but voila here they are a Hunt mate and a cylon! That just proves how awesome DST is. Also the 10% of code is cool too.

I forget the website where I saw it up for pre-order, and although I would like it more in minimate form, there is a kubrick set with a power loader, Ripley, and some Aliens and it looks so awesome. I am just adding my positive experience with stuckakid.com. When I first started collectin minimates I got my unmasked Dr Doom from them and then a bunch of other just loose figures to build up my collection and they came quick! A sidenote a while back I listed a bunch of my extra minimates on ebay in a lot and stuckakid bought them and resold them on their website. . . .and if they sold them for what they were listed for than they made a pretty penny out of that deal

I don't know a lot of background for these characters but I sure like the Hawks. They have great accessories and the wings are a great new thing. I love the look of the Red Tornado figure. In the end wethere I like the character or not or wether I know a lot about them they are new minimates which feeds that unedning hunger in me!

Hey I would love to know if anyone here knows where a good and resonable place to get kubricks is. They obviously are no where near as cool as minimates but I have a Gambit kubrick and some Tron kubrick and I would die to get an iron man but whenever they pop up on ebay they are crazy expensive (I realize this was like series 1 or 2) but there are some cool looking kubricks I would like but I can never find a reasonable price for the size and not so poseability of the product.

Yeah I am not getting to it either. I get the home page and nothing in the actual confidentail about it. I haven't seen these yet to gauge my interest in this line.

I do one of everything as well of Marvel, DC, BSG, Star Trek and I will be getting the BTTF mates. Luckily I have a grandmother in law who pays me to mow her lawn every week which allows me to save and pre-order my mates! I wish I had a more non-juvenile way of getting the money but hey it works and I get my minimates which is the most important thing of all!

That is totally awesome! Making displays for your minimates is one of the best parts of collecting them and this is a prime example of awesomeness!

I was sad to see MMC go as well, it was the first site I found when I started collecting mates and it brought me here and to MMHQ so I owe that site a lot. But obviously maintaining a site like that is time consuming. Lets just hope that the reviews that have been done on MMHQ for the last couple of waves will continue, cause that is better than nothing!

Yeah, if there are going to do a vehicle the Colonial Viper is the must have for me! Knight Rider just doesn't seem to have enough of a memorable character base to really warrant a good box set.

I like the C3 cowls so much better than the new one pieces. Not that I don't think the DC mates look great, cause they do, I just liked the way it was before better!

I was hooked on Galactic Heroes from day one so when these things came out I was rightr on board. I am excited for the upcoming Rogue and Gambit two pack and the Giant man with Ultimate Iron Man pack that were displayed at SDCC with a butload of others too.

That's great. I always wish that I can come up with custom minimates I can't seem to come up with sometihng like that where you just combine other mate pieces and I know I'm not talented enough to make my own so that is cool.

Wow there are a lot of things mentioned here that would just be totally awesome to see in minimate form but my votes would go to Star Wars (original trilogy) Master of the Universe Tron Aliens GI Joe

The hampering of posability with some of these capes is frustrating but I too am too lazy to change anything about it so I will be keeping it the same.

I am not the biggest GR fan but I still wanted this wave simply becaue it was new minimates! I was quite irritated that this was cancelled becasue I did want the Caretaker a lot and the other figs weren't bad at all I guess people just don't have as much interest in mates based on the movie.

I really like the Klingon, but I really hope that if ST mates continue after this wave I really hope they get some TNG in there!

I mostly get mine from cornerstorecomics.com, and then when I found them at other places I usually pick them up if I find them anywhere else. I don't have a good LCS here so I have got a few sets from TRU, Target, and FYE.

I have a subscription to Toyfare magazine and saw this list and was excited that the first thing I saw was Iron Man, although i obviously think minimates should rank higher. I loved that list. when I got the issue of Toyfare I had 16 of the 100 and saw one other on the list I had been meaning to get and so I did, bringing me up to 17 of the top 100. Masterpiece Prime at #1 was a good choice though I love mine and there is no better TF. I think there are some other mates that deserved a place on the list like the exclusive Stealth C3 Batwing with Bruce and Pilot Batman.

First set I got was the TRU Spiderman five pack with the hidden Rhino figure. I knew there were more minimates and I thought I could just get that set and call it good. . . . .man oh man was I wrong! now 300 mates later I just can't stop!
