For those of us not so much in the know on DC characters who are the two on the right in that pic?

Is that Batman a deep dive batman? Cause I had that toy back when it came out and I loved it. I can't beleive my batcave didn't come with that Alfred. That playset shouldn't have been released without him!

Right brained all the way here. I stared for quite some time and still only see clockwise. Strange. It's like those hologramish pictures from years ago that look just like a bunch of colors but if you star at them in a certain way you can see some picture in them, I could never see the picture.

That's awesome! That is such a great set, Nightcrawler is one of my favorites.

I doubt they will drop the S3 waves because they have had quite a few advertisements for them in magazines like Wizard and Toyfare and I don't recall ever seing an ad for the GR wave. Lets just hope that December isn't the actual release date now cause I sure don't want to wait that longs for them!

I think I have a recurring dream with something like that atleast once a week. Damn dreams! Any chance to get more Iron Man minimates and I am on board!

I think if they are going to base doing TNG and other series on wether or not TOS sells well they should just stick to core crew and a few others and then move on to TNG because the more you get into the periphary characters the less interest you have from casual fans or fans who might not know a lot about the series so I think they should move on to TNG after wave three so we can atleast get the core crew there!

Well I have to say that I have been hooked on BSG since I picked up the wave one minimates I thought they were cool so I got them and then a whole butload of titanium ships,and so my interest in watching the shows were piqued and within 3 weeks I was caught up on seasons 1-3 and I can't wait for Razor. I even have Season 1 opening credits as my ringtone. THis show is all that is good about tv shows it has action, drama, humor and awesome sci-fi stuff. I love Baltar he is my favorite character on the show (which has caused some arguments with my brothers) he is such an intriguing character. Anyhoo what a great show I wish I would have got into it sooner.

There are so many great spiderman villains who we still don't have I don't think we need any more venoms for a while and we already have a carnage so if we are gonna get some spiderman villians I think we need to get like Lizard, Kraven, etc.

I can't wait to see your pics. My only hope of ever getting this set was when I entered to win it at the lego booth at SDCC. Oh well maybe I will find a bunch of 100$ dollar bills lying around. . . . . yeah probably not. I guess I will live with the other two Millenium Falcons I already have.

There are few greater joys than opening your e-mail and having pictures of new minimates right where I didn't have to go searching for them. I am so excited to get more characters and another version of a cylon!

These responses are awesome. I love reading about other people who have the same "disease" as I do. I work literally right next to a TRU and every single day on my lunch break I go next door even if there isn't anything to buy just the hunt, and just being around toys makes the remainder of my day go better. I sure hope they come out this week but almost everything but DC mates have had some sort of tweaking done to their release dates and I don't suppose this will be any different.

Well the Gambit part of the name is simply because I love Gambit. Watching the X-men cartoon when I was younger he just struck a chord with me and I have loved him since then. I also just love bo staffs (which is why Donatello is my favorite Ninja Turtle). The tron part of the name has two meanings the first is just that I love the movie Tron and the second is it is a suffix that my friends and I added to words when we thought something was cool. My Avatar is my favorite picture of Gambit.

I would like to know what it is for everyone else here what it is that interests you in collecting toys. Respond one and all. I am the youngest in my family and so I got hand-me downs of transformers, gi joes, star wars and lots of other toys not to mention all the great stuff I got just for me as a kid. Then my parents decided to have a garage sale and told me that if I wanted to have money to spend for myself on an upcoming vacation I could sell some of my toys at the garage sale. This was that time in my life as a youngster that toys had lost some of their appeal and BOOM just like that I was almost toyless. Damn garage sale (atleast for me, the lucky people that got all my stuff I'm sure were happy that day!) That experience and the regret it has caused me is one the reasons I started repurchasing all of my old toys on ebay. Then my interest in Star Wars in general (the movies and books) got me into collecting SW stuff and it has just cascaded from there to where I just can't imagine my life any other way. My toy interests span to so many different areas from Minimates to Star Wars from Masters of the Universe to Transformers, GI Joes, and other vintage toys.

I was also disappointed in this variant, if anyone from that wave should have gotten a variant it should have been Shadowcat.

I picked up Serpentor and Beachhead yesterday but the two Lady Jayes they had both had really bad bent cards with big creases in them. That happened a lot with subsequent boxes of wave 1 that walmart got in after I picked up mine at the very beginnning. Either the people at my walmart aren't incredibly uncareful with these toys or something is happening to them in shipping. So I'll just have to wait and pick up LJ when I find one with a good card.

I think Tron is a must see movie for anyone but a cool movie mostly for guys. Other than that I think I have seen all of my other facorite movies listed in one place or another here althought the first list has Alien listed and I must contend that Aliens is the better guy movie (better movie period even though I like Alien as well) it has more explosions and such than the first. Oh I just remembered UHF one the funniest movies ever!

I watched a few episodes of Astonishing X-men and it was so-so, so this doesn't excite me much and although I like wolverine a lot I think there is way to much concentration on him in shows like this and in the toy world too. I wish for the days of the original animated x-men that was the best. I am interested to watch th new upcoming spiderman animated show though.

Oh happy day! Thanks Samwise for that update. I am so glad to see Roslin and the Lab Coat Baltar that we've had pics of for a while. I hope these do well enough that we will see more of them it would be double sad to have the series (of the show) end and not have any minimates to look forward to either. I agree that Cally's hair does look a tad strange but over all this is going to be a totally great wave.
