when wave 1 came out, an employee went in back and looked for them. came out with a small box, that had 1 of each set in it. not sure what triggers restocks as one store here in portland has a mishmash of waves 1, 1.5, and 2.

so in your area, they're selling ok. here in Portland, just about every Walgreens i've been to all still have series one stragglers. i have however seen every wave so far.

i don't think it's a matter of distribution. they're not going to restock if their current stock is not selling, which seems to be the main issues.

walgreens on MLK and Ainsworth in Portland, Or have 2 Gamora/Drax, a Task Master set and a Thanos set.

right. i was disappointed with all the "human" faces from movie GotG mates. thought they all looked pretty bored and flat. i haven't seen the cartoon, what other characters do you think we could get? does Mantis or anyone else show up?

i finally scored animated Drax and Gamora, and used them to custom better looking (to me) versions of each. i just popped animated Gamora's head on her movie selfs body, and put the upper half of animated Drax on the the lower half of movie Drax. mix and match parts, indeed!

when you say "less detailed" and show pics of Captain America or Hawkeye and the only difference i see is an additional line on each cheek, i think we're getting a little nit picky. the animated Hawkeye would not be my go to if i had only one to choose, but it's still a good looking mate and fits in just fine with the others. maybe they are a bit more simple, but that Crossbones is sweet, Taskmaster is Sweet, Venom is on my DFoSM display, and all of the movie GotG mates have been replaced by their animated versions... so i'm not complaining.

classic Falcon was not on my list, at all. i was happy with the first Falcon we got and saw no need to replace him. then i saw classic Fal, and immediately decided to upgrade and give my current Falcon to my nephew. that whole wave looks great, tho i'll stick to just one modern Blizzard. waves 68 and 69 are both going to be coming home with me when they're released. i'll be passing on the movie and netflix mates, however.

yeah BW looks a little goofy, but to be honest i hated her hair in the movie, too.

oh snap. if we can get Squirrel Girl an Man-Thing out of an animated wave, we can certainly get that updated look for Moon Knight. i have the first mate and haven't actually read his books, so that's even better news since my Walgreens have dropped the ball on restocking after wave 1.

which is good news, if they sell. means more stores will stock up on the next wave.

i don't collect the movie mate, but that is a very nice Vision and Scarlet Witch set.

I'd say switch Wolfsbane with Random. That way you have the original 'all new all different' X-Factor in 3 sets, and the 2 newer members in the 4th.

losing Wolverine and the X-Men was unfortunate. I never got into X-Men: Evolution, but I really liked WatXM.

both of the faces are from the new Hobgoblin. i tried the hood on the old head, but the face tampo is too big and the lower half gets covered by the bottom of the hood. the original Hobgoblin's hood doesn't connect on the bottom.

not sure if anyone had shared a similar pic or not, but i used my old school Hobgoblin to get both versions.

i think he's referring to this Cable on the cover of X-Men vol 2 194 (I saved the pic to my photobucket but I'm at work and it won't let me copy and past the link for some dang reason) now if only we could get that Cannonball! I made a custom using the Cable chest from the most recent X-Force box set, but an official X-Man Cannonball would be sweet. Avengers Cannonball and Sunspot would also be sweet. And that Rogue, too.

I'd buy that hands down.

happy with Siryn (tho I've also been happy with my custom), happy with Zenpool... I guess I can put Domino on my X-Men display... not too excited about the rest. is this for sure wave 65? I thought we had a Secret Invasion set in this wave. Who's standing next to Zenpool?

i would be happy with an Enchantress.

oooh yeah, I also want Maestro and Old Man Logan... big pass on Ultron and Iron man, though.

I'm pretty excited for these to come out. really looking forward to Dazzler, Captain Marvel, NuThor, Howard... I guess I'm not that excited about the other 2 because I don't remember who they are.

dang wish I coulda got all that when I ordered my first 2 sets. especially like that evil Morph
