Generation X #5 & 6 was the first time we really saw Marrow in action. Aside from Emplate, the Gen X kids didn't really have many reoccurring villains. i thought it it'd be a nice way to include a character we haven't seen yet. if i were to move a character to Marrow's spot, it would be M because of the obvious connection with Emplate. but i think if you gave Husk a head that has a silver or stone alt look on the back side, and like an extra "husked" arm, it could still be included as parts' with Jubilee. but actually i would change it so that it's Jubilee/Synch with parts for M, Husk and Chamber. That way it would make sense to buy duplicate sets to get all 5 mates. Penance and Mondo could pair up.

thought up this dream wave earlier. it would be so amazing with something new that hasn't been done in minimate form (that i know of). it would be a one-and-done complete team that i believe everyone wants. and despite some of the more unique characters, it would not required too many new parts. especially considering so many of the mates would use the same arms/legs/boots and so on. now, let me present to you... Generation X build-a-mate series! Banshee/Emma (with mini Artie and Leech) plus head for build-a-mate Skin Jubilee (with parts for M and Husk)/Mondo plus torso for build-a-mate Skin Synch (with parts for Chamber)/Penance plus arms for build-a-mate Skin Emplate (with mini DOA)/Marrow plus legs for build-a-mate Skin what do y'all think?? isn't 2015 Generation X's 20th anniversary? perfect timing!

i do need to get the green out and go over Shaw's legs again, though. his socks are up much to high, and the green has yellow splatter in it.

i don't like the old White Queen face, and i'm not really a fan of Selene's face either, but i think it looks better on Emma for that cold bitch look. and i've had Shaw with just a regular sized body, but i like the bulked up look better. he's a pretty built dude in his early appearances.

it was in a box from something that was shipped to my work. it was going to get tossed out but i asked for it instead. it's perfect because i needed something large enough to hold all my villains (that aren't already on other displays). they'd been in a bag too long.

just read through the original Hellfire Club storyline, and i was inspired...

I called them from Portland. the first guy i talked to said there were 11 on the floor and put me on hold. the guy who answered was different, and didn't know what i was looking for. at first he was saying Silver Surfer. he told me he couldn't find them online, so i had to tell him that's because they're not on there. he put me on hold, came back and told me they didn't have them. i told him the first guy i talked to told me there were 11 sets on the floor...he put me on hold again and came back saying that he had it and would put it on hold for me. i reaaaaally hope that's not the one you left with. i'm assuming you got the last pack because the other was on hold for me.

Found them in Clackamas, Or. No vision/quicksilver or wolverine/sentinels. Anyone in the area pick up an extra vision set they could sell me?

i hope these arrive in Portland, Or this week. i go back to work on the 2nd and won't have as much time to go hunting. if anyone IN Portland could pick me up the Vision/Quicksilver and Iron Man/Ronan sets and meet up somewhere in town, I'd be willing to pay you an extra dollar each for your services!

Nothing as of yesterday, was told they just hit their "warehouse" and it should be in stock in a week.....had not checked Clackamas awesome thanks for the tip! let me know if you find them because i don't live near any of the 3 stores and don't want to make the 3 hour round trip bus ride until i know lol

i don't have that mate and he runs pretty high on Ebay... so i used Ultimate Sabrethooth. the face is a little bit too feminine for classic Callisto, but for digging through my bucket of spare parts, she was very quick and easy custom to throw together!

Callisto is a character i've kinda forgotten about... i'm re-reading Uncanny from Giant Size #1 forward, but i just hit Dazzler's debut. she does seem like a very easy custom now that it's been brought to my attention. i, however, would use a male chest piece, as Callisto isn't just not sexy, she's got a pretty manly body. i'm gonna have to figure this out. are there any men's tank top chest pieces that don't have hairy chests?

omg can wave 60 just get here already?? I'm so excited for Banshee, Jubilee, Forge, the Brotherhood and the customs i get to make! But... Is Banshee rocking Dazzler's old hair piece? and i know it's just a head swap, but I wish the would have had the alternate looks on display as well. I also cannot wait for that new Apocalypse. he looks fantastic. all the other mates in that set look great as well, but ol Poccy takes the cake.

if anyone finds these in the Portland, Or please let me know! Jantzen Beach, Clackamas and Tigard are all about the same distance from where i live, but they're so far away i hate to make the trip for no reason.

yeah i would love to to see some of the decals, too!

i know Christmas just ended, but it sure would be a nice surprise if we got these a week earlier! i'm getting so excited for them.

i agree. i haven't read her in Excalibur, but she's so no-nonsense in her early Uncanny appearances - and doesn't wear glasses - this seemed a more appropriate look for.
