I have read all of Dan Brown's stuff while after his 4th book, it gets rather obvious what is going on, I still really enjoy them. The Chronicles of Thomas Covenent are an awesome trilogy. My favorite book of all time and the one I have passed on to many others... Mark Z. Danielewski's House of Leaves It will make your brain hurt, jump for joy, and freak you out at every sound all at once. And of course all Chuck Paluniuk books esp. Lulliby and Survivor.

I too can vouch for DCBS. They are actually my LCS. I know several of the the guys there and the owner is one of the most chill people there. The guy I usually deal with is Jim he does a lot of their IT stuff but he is a huge comic fan so he is a font of knowledge for everything from independents to the big 2.

I am probably not going to be very popular for this, but I have heard it many times from various people on this site. No one forces you to collect! All the pressure comes from yourself. The whole got to have them all attitude is your desire to have that complete collection or have that specific costume. We are talking about little pieces of plastic. I agree that AFX should have more minimate items in the sale but that is not how they deceided to go. They own the site they own the mates. Who knows maybe they will not sell out of the mates and deceide to do another buy get thing. What we need to notice is that we are getting this 'cancelled' mate. I said it. let the egging begin.

I feel I must defend myself. 1) The 4 Months Thread was funny. I actually laughed aloud reading it. 2) Who's Going Thread, my aplogies, it seemed silly to me. Maybe I should have read more of the post I admit I didn't read them all. 3) In the last few days, I have felt like a complete ass hat. I thought I was being generous and helping out and was politelyish told to shove it. I post on some old thread cause I found them and got a tickle and get slapped for it. I make a comment about said slapping and I get told I deserve it. I love this site but it, apparently, does not love me. This is not a cry of woah is me. I do not want poeple saying nice things after this post to make me feel better. I do want constructive critisism. Tim your comment on making a thread with the links to those previous threads was exactly what I am talking about. If that had been the only post I had got after this I probably would have just deleted my original post and been done with this whole thing. I'm done. Maybe I will be back. Again not a cry of boo hoo. I just feel, well, disappointed.

What is wrong with a little necrophilia? So I bumped some old threads. I thought that was what we are supposed to do rather than start new ones. Yes I did not necessarily add anything to those threads but I thought they were funny and since I was not here when they happened I thought maybe some other of the newer poeple would get a kick out of them or even the older members would like to remember those long forgotten threads. I know it partially depends on the amount they order, and possilbly,as winkerbean said, what they pay for. I know I have one shop that gets theirs by picking it up first thing in the morning and I have one that gets theirs on Tuesdays.
