  1. That particular glider is from the ToyBiz's "Marvel Figure Factory:Green Goblin" set (which is a bit large, but has nice "smoke-trail" base). The "Marvel Towers" set from MegaBloks has a really nice glider(with C3 compatible feet-pegs even!) which I am currently using (not to mention the nice 'lil building). It even has a clear "stunt-stick" that you can attach to the glider to fly-around or attach to other building-blocks for display. Both are out of production now, but you may find them on-line or ebay. My KB Toys had some Marvel Towers in the back when I asked. I now have a perfect glider! And a nice tower, too! Jubilations!
  2. I just want bigger characters, and vehicles. Goblin needs a GLIDER. Ghost Rider needs a MOTORCYCLE. And I want a big Rhino.
  3. I hope they do Spider-Man 1&2. I need a GLIDER. I will go on a homocidal rampage if I don't get a glider.
  4. I'm a Spider-Man person myself, but I swear, if these fucking Avengers Minimates dont come out soon I'll scream. I. WANT. SHE-HULK D:<
  5. Wait, couldn't the Spidey be Ditko OR Marvel Knights? Both eyepeices are signifigantly smaller for Marvel Knights and when Ditko drew him. I'm probably wrong, but thought I'd mention it.
  6. All I collect are Spidey 'Mates (mostly), and these waves are still my dream. Mysterio? YES. Ditko Spidey? Not much compared to my McFarlane Spidey, but cool anyway. Big Chest Hulk? 'Bout time. These waves are wonderful. AND PHASING VISION!
  7. The glider is all lego: Dragon wings, a bat head, and two 1x4 pieces. I might have some kind of round piece in the back for the engine, but I can't remember right now, and I'm not at home to check. The stand is cut from thick clear plastic, with notches cut to hold the glider and allow it to be easily removed. These legos are at least eight years old, but I'm sure they still use some of these pieces in current sets. Thank you, very much.
  8. If the Marvel 'Mates can't have vehicles, why not just make a minimate resembling one? Blankish gray Minimate with winged arms and a pointed hairpeice? Take off the legs, ta-da. As near impossible as this is, would it violate anything to make it?
  9. Torment Spider-Man: This could possibly be, in my opinion, the greatest Minimate ever. The muscle detailing and web lines of his costume work really nicely, and the darker shade of blue matches both Torment and modern Spider-Man. The bigger eyes are a nice touch, and it's great to have an artist specific Minimate. 10/10 Powerhouse Venom: This Minimate would have been perfect. But his ugly mug is so undescribably horrid that it needs to be immediately popped off and replaced with Venom w/ Tongue's head. Like, that should be the first thing you do when you open this box. Losing the dots on the hands from the previous Venom is no big deal, but you may wanna swap them out, too. Overall it's nice to have a big chested Venom, and C3 feet for him, but that head is terrible. 6/10 Melee Symbiote Spider-Man: It's a great idea to have a battle damage version of both costumes, but at least TRY and match the skintones? Maybe it wouldn't be so terrible then. 5/10 Powerhouse Sandman: ...Really? Did somebody at DST get hit with a retard stick when they made this thing? First off, you have JJJ/Chameleon's mask on this thing, which makes him look much too big. He DEFINATELY doesen't need a big chest, though it's nice to have one anyway. I would have preffered a long overdue Powerhouse Rhino instead of this. The transparent arms look more like mud than sand when put next to the green like that. The sand blasts are actually nice, as you can put them once more on the pre-existing Sandman, as with his legs, but wouldn't it have been much better to have a mound of sand for a base instead? I really don't know why they did this. As I said, better a Powerhouse Rhino than a Powerhouse Sandman. 4/10 Hydro Man: YES! A NEW VILLAIN! Hydro Man looks great, and the Chase Cyclops hair was a good choice. His arms look great transparent, as if they were turning to water, and the Ryu reuse water-blasts were a wonderful choice. I love this Minimate. The only thing I could think of that'd be better is Hydro Man in his newer costume, but this is a CLASSICS box set. 10/10 Overall thoughts: Despite the mismatched skintones of Melee Symbiote Spider-Man, the easily fixable ugly face of Powerhouse Venom, and the just plain terrible Powerhouse Sandman, Hydro Man and Torment Spider-Man, plus the new chest for Venom, and the Sandman accessories, this is a great box set, but you'll definately need a few spare parts to perfect it.
  10. Lizard, Shocker, Vulture, Scarlet Spider, Kraven, and Vermin.
  11. I love this box set. It came in the mail last Thursday. Torment Spider-Man is the best Spidey we've gotten so far. Hydro Man is a really nice figure. I like that they gave us a Venom chestpeice, and C3 feet, but that head is terrible. I took the waist down and chest and stuck it on Tongue Venom to make a perfect one. The Sandman figure is...alright. Not the best, but he definately gives me some good parts for my other Sandman figure. Melee Symbiote Spidey is just...unexciting.
  12. Spectre's hood, Supermans cape, almost any belt peice, and that's Moon Knight. Powerhouse Thing's chest, Ben Reilly's web shooters, Rhino's helmet, Martian Manhunter's ankle things, and you have Deadly Foes of Spider-Man Rhino. Juggernaut's hands, repainted body, you have Shocker. Daredevil's belt, Punisher's guns and holsters, non-sheathed Blade's sword, it's the great Deadpool.
  13. In a perfect world, I'd get my Spidey villain wave. Scorpion/Kraven Vulture/Lizard Mysterio/Powerhouse Rhino Chase: Mac Gargan Venom
  14. It's mostly about Lizard. Hydro Man, Venom, and Sandman don't even make an appearance. I wish they'd give us a Lizard to go with Torment Spidey.
  15. HOLY CRAP IN A HAT. NEED THEM. Then, for the moment, I'll have all the Spidey mates until Target busts out Web Armor Spidey and Goblin and such.
  16. Beetween Back to the Future, Spider-Man 3, and Ghost Rider, we'll have plenty to customize into normal civilians. Let's hope we have a movie come out with a main or supporting police character that DST gets ahold of.
  17. Hydro Man. One step closer to completing the Spidey Minimate Rogue's Gallery!
  18. Wave 2, though Wave 10 is another favorite of mine. Wave 2 has the greatest superhero ever to grace the Earth, plus some good villains.
  19. I think a re-release that isn't so damn plain would be nice. Like Deadpool said, with dark blue shading like in the comic books, maybe even some better muscle detailing. I don't have a Symbiote Spidey, but I'll probably get it eventually, and I'd love to have both, if a re-release ever happens. They need to make just a full Spidey villain line. And just complete the whole fucking rogues gallery, and people can have the Sinister Six and more. I'd spend every cent I had just getting that full wave and variants.
  20. I usually only play with my Spidey 'mates, and I normally do Spider-Man, Doc Ock, Venom, Green Goblin, and Rhino. Sometimes Sandman. Chameleon dosen't get much play time with me.
  21. Kraven the Hunter and Scorpion Shocker and Vulture Mysterio and Lizard Variant - Venom 3, the Scorpion one. Huge Spider-Man fan, and then I'd have everyone but Vulture.
