I'd love to see Robert Kirkmans titles in Minimate form. Invincible and The Walking Dead... Superheroes and Zombies!! Any plans/thoughts to try and aquire a licence for Image comics... in particular Robert Kirkman's titles? More specifically Invincible and The Walking Dead!! There is absolutly NO figures/toys out for any of his titles, so why not jump in there and fill the void. There's a lot of people out there who would throw there money at these, and not just Minimate fans... it could also introduce a lot more people to the Minimates franchise. Surley that'll be a good thing!?

Are we ever going to get the Civil War Spiderman, as it was pictured a long time ago... if not, how come? C'mon, even if your licence with Marvel is ending, surley you can squeze 1 more Spiderman variant out? Please!! Thanks

I hope we see one but not that one, It look horrid and completely overdesigned. They should keep it simple and just use the outlines, the orange on the yellow spoils it & the eye's look really wonky. T. Yeah, i'm with you... Simple is best in this case, but i must admit... i'd take this version rather than no version at all. With the issues over the licence, i'm worried if it'll ever see the light of day. Surley if DST are going to lose the licence, they can squeze this one out in time.

Do you think we'll ever see the Civil War Spiderman released? For a line that has so heavily relied on Spiderman variants, you'd think DST would get this one out if/before they loose their licence with Mavel.

I've added a bunch of new customs in this update... as well as my recently added Spiderman: Reign, i've added the Army of Darkness's Ash, James Bond, Rambo, Neo from the Matrix, Rick Grimes from Image Comics The Walking Dead, Marvel Zombies Rhino, Marvel Zombies Colossus and a update to my Marvel Zombies Black Panther. And just so you all know... As well a posting my new customs as new posts, i'll also add them to the customs further down in this post at the relevant section, just to keep them all together. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MARVEL AMAZING BAGMAN I saw somebody make this a while ago and thought i'd give it a try if i could make a decent brown paper bag, after about 10 tries a pulled it off. Printed "kick me" sign. SIX ARMS SPIDERMAN Had a spare spiderman and a few extra arms so i thought i'd give it a go. I cut the extra arms shoulders to fit the angles on the body where i was to atatch them to. SPIDER-HULK Had a spare battle damaged Spiderman and a pot of green paint... i couldn't resist! SPIDERMAN: REIGN Not too keen on these two, thought they'd look more interesting than they turned out... you can't win them all. The head i used for 'old man' Spiderman belongs to Andre Drazen from the 24 set and i used the Things hand for the cast on half naked Spiderman. SCARLET SPIDER I drew the logo, scanned it, blacked it in Photoshop, then photocopied it onto ascitate. Couldn't cut around it, but it isn't so noticable to the eye. His hood is cut from a cape. SCARLET SPIDER UNMASKED Simple quick custom. BEN REILLY UNMASKED Simple quick custom. SYMBIOTE SPIDERMAN + UNMASKED SYMBIOTE SPIDERMAN Never got my hands on the original, but painted a Spiderman head black and was so happy with the result, i never bothered trying to get the original. EZEKIEL Easy to make, pitty i had to buy a Hydro-man just for the hair. TOXIN I kinda stole the idea for this from Mattallica's excellent Toxin. (sorry Mattallica) It took me ages to realise how he did it. b]ANTI-VENOM[/b] Taken from Amazing Spiderman: New Ways To Die. A simple paint job over Spider Carnage. MARVEL ZOMBIES Seeing as DST have finished with the Marvel Zombie line... i just had to continue it myself. Once i finish a Marvel Zombies custom, i splash it with black paint to give it the look of Sean Phillips art... kinda like the effect!! BULLSEYE Got my drill out for this one!! I impaled Bullseye's own knife right between his eyes... what do you expect if you put a bullseye there!! Looks like he ran into Dare Devil along the way too, as there's a couple of Dare Devil's batons burried into his chest! Perhaps i should call him Pin-Cushion from now on? ARCHANGEL Another quick zombie to add to my pile. HAWKEYE Another quick zombie to add to my pile. RHINO Another quick zombie to add to my pile. COLOSSUS Another quick zombie to add to my pile. CYCLOPS Stuck MZ Dare Devils head under Cyclops mask, then chopped his head off... pretty easy really. QUICKSILVER Really liked this mate so i gave it a try. Spent a while blacking his face which turned out better than expected, i originally planned to use MZ Dare Devils head but it didn't work. I also gave him Magneto's helmet as a trophy. SENTRY I used Raft Sentry because his costume was tattered. I was going to use his short hair because it was short in the comic, but it didn't look right, so i went with the long hair. VENOM Had a few Venom heads and MZ Dare Devil bodies lying around so i tried this. It was so hard to pull off the spider logo freehand, but i think it looks ok. I decided to splash Venom with red paint instead of my usuall black because he wasn't looking lmuch ike a zombie. Think it just about works to make him different enough to the regular Venom. REED RICHARDS MZ Wolverine's head and a splash of black. SUSAN STORM MZ Wasp's head and a splash of black. JOHNNY STORM Blacked his face out free hand and a splash of black. THE THING Blacked his face out free hand and a splash of black. THE FEARSOME FOUR I'm really surprised DST didn't make this!? BLACK PANTHER version.1 Ater DST dropped the extra limbs for Black Panther, i had to make my own. I used Dr Dooms arm and leg, i pushed the pins out of their knees, then joined them back together. Didn't even know i could do that untill i tried. BLACK PANTHER version.2 I’ve updated this custom by adding his mask. I’ve now cut his face details from his mask so it can be carried or worn… as in the first picture. I would rather DST had made the mask this way in the first place. MOVIE MINIMATES ASH - ARMY OF DARKNESS Wanted to make this one for ages! The main bulk of it came from the 24 2-pack, Andre Drazen’s legs, Jack’s feet and shirt (painted blue), with Bruce Wayne’s head and Superman’s hair. The belt around his body is just black tape sliced thinly, with silver painted dots and I’ve also added a few cuts and scars. The chainsaw is a Lego chainsaw I bought from a seller on Brick Link. I chopped the body in half added wire for the handle and a old wrist gauntlet so it can be changed easily with the metal hand which is just a hand and wrist gauntlet glued together The gun came from Brick Arms but, I had to shave the handle down to make them fit. RAMBO Quick custom here based on… or blatently copied from ersatz. Rocky’s head and body, Ryu’s hair painted black and Blades legs. The guns came from Brick Arms but, I had to shave the handles down to make them fit. JAMES BOND Again, a quick custom i copied from other MMMV members. I’d previously seen this made with a open jacket, but decided to go with a closed jacket here just to be some what different. I’ve posted 2 pictures, the only difference being the gun. The jacket came from Patch, which i painted it black. The guns came from Brick Arms but, I had to shave the handles down to make them fit. NEO – THE MATRIX This was made in about 30 minutes with spare parts from Blade. I removed the stakes strapped to his Jacket, trimmed the point of hair above the glasses and cut a old Dare Devil mask up to use as the back of his hair, because Blade’s original hair only came half way down the back of his head. The guns came from Brick Arms but, I had to shave the handles down to make them fit. UNMASKED BLACK SUITE SPIDERMAN I didn't like how the face on the original figure was his "good guy" face, seeing how he was wearing the black suite, so i swapped it to his "bad guy" face. PETER PARKER (GOOD and BAD) Made a good guy Peter Parker in contrast to the original figure, using a different head and a red body under his jacket. IMAGE COMICS RICK GRIMES - THE WALKING DEAD (mk.1). Seein how DST will never be making any “The Walking Dead” mates… i’ll have to do it myself! I’ll have to with till I get a cowboy hat before i’ll call this one completely finished, but it’ll do for now. I’m really happy with this one, even got all the small details such as the bandaged right hand The axe is a Lego chainsaw i bought from a seller on Brick Link and the guns came from Brick Arms but, i had to shave the handles down to make them fit. Below is the head of my next Rick Grimes custom from later on in the comic after he’s had his hand chopped off and been roughed up a bit, but I’ll have to wait for the Silence of the Lambs set, so i can get a orange prison jump suit. I’m using the same head as i used for my first Rick Grimes (above), but on that one, i scrapped his stubble off so there’s more of a difference between how they look. Thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing this... Nasa's Mars Explorer Spirit sent these images back from the surface of the Red Planet four years ago. After intense scrutiny, pictures have finally been found that show what could be a living being. Bigfoot, perhaps? Or maybe a pile of Martian rocks.

I now wonder if that "small window" was actually due to the whole marvel licence being about to expire. Is this actually confirmed yet? What do all you guys actually think is the chance that Hasbro (is that who has the new licence) will still continue to produce Marvel Minimates with AA? This can't be the end of Marvel Minimates!?

Wow, they look great! I'm desperate for 2 Scarlet Spiders! And seeing how all you lot in the Multiverse are such a friendly and helpfull bunch... I'm gonna put out a request. If anybody has the means to pick 2 of these packs up for me and is willing to ship it over to me in the UK, i'll Paypal you the cash. You can even keep both the Hobgoblins and put the Scarlet Spiders together in 1 box. Hmmmmm... I read something interesting on the CBR news involving the Initiative. We're 7 issues into the series now and you'd think that War Machine would have took his face plate off atleast once by now!? Unless it's hiding his... SKRULL face!!!!???

Yeah, you've got me convinced... or am i? He was in a position of influence during Civil War, but Trahma used his powers on him recently to become a battered Janet Pym. I'd doubt this is what the "Skrull's" biggest fear would be? Also he did ride that space ship kamikaze style into the ground a few issues ago in The Initiative, saving the day and nearly not coming out of it in one piece... or maybe he didn't... is that when they switched! Ahhh, thinking about this for too long can cause headaches. Hope they've thought all this switching places through, i'm not quite convinced. Black Bolt for example. was it the Skrull Black Bolt in Secret War and World War Hulk? Hopefully when Secret Invasion comes out, they'll explain when everyone who got switched... was switched!?

I think the Doom who released the Venom bomb is a Skrull there's definatley a Skrull on the Initiative team!!

I take onboard what you say... fair comment... but, It just pisses me off when something isn't made available to everyone. I've stood by DST and gave them lots of my money... and this is my reward. To not be able to get my hands on the product i've been waiting for. What's wrong with just making it, putting it on the shelves and we give them money for it. It's fine with the other 98% of there products! Just because we're collectors and we're passionate about what we like, doesn't mean we're happy to jump through hoops to add to our collections. Definition of the term exclusive... 1. Excluding or tending to exclude. 2. Not divided or shared with others. 3. Excluding some or most, as from membership or participation. 4. Catering to a wealthy clientele; expensive: exclusive shops. "Exclusive"... How nice of DST to do this for there loyal customers! Anything deemed exclusive is bullshit in my book! What's next... run through tiananmen square naked and you'll get a free Deadpool Minimate!?

I recently got intouch with AFX, i picked an item for just under $26, but asked them not to send me it... to keep it themselves... and to just send me the Spider Armour Minimate and still charge me the shipping for it. Unfortunatley they declined my offer... WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!!!? C'mon, i ordered an item from there Holiday Gift Shop, i was willing to pay for it, i just didn't want them to send me it, thus they could send me the Spider Armour Minimate only, at whatever the cost of shipping is to them. Is that not the exact way it would happen if i took the item? Obviously the shipping would be more if i took the item, but that's because it will be a bigger parcel. It's irrelevant how big or small the package is, the shipping costs are the shipping costs. So what's different? Surley they are not making a profit on the shipping cost they are charging us!? Hello... SHIPPING COSTS... the cost of shipping! Not the cost of shipping plus a few dollars extra for your greedy rip-off pockets!! I guess the higher the shipping costs are, the bigger their cut!! I understand why you are all giving AFX your money, you just want the exclusive, there's nothing wrong with that, but when you've got it or they've got no more, dump these rip-offs and never buy from them again! I can't believe DST made a deal with a company like this who will rip-off loyal fans who just want to buy their products. DST are basically acting like drug dealers... they give us a taste of their minimates and get us addicted, and when we desperatley need a special hit of minimate... they move it out of reach, forcing us to ultimatley pay even more for it!! How many times as it happened... how many times will it happen again? (Scarlet Spider!) Hey DST guys, how's about just for once, rewarding us fans for buying your products and keeping you in your f@*%ing jobs!! Is that such a hard thing to do, y'know... giving us something back!? I wish they just sold this mate for an inlfated price... it would be so much easier! It's just too much messing around for me to bother with.
