Adam Strange and Starfire Figures Alexander Luthor and Ultraman Figures Justice in the Jungle: B’Wana Beast and Animal Man Figures Funny how they leave out the set that would be the most popular, Color of Fear. Well, I might grab a couple extra sets.

Well, I finally have a real update... Not good news though. All orders for the FF wave and the Ghostbuster wave have been canceled. I will not be surprised if all the other minimates get the same fate. Maybe not Halo though, TRU Canada loves any Halo merch they can get. Sorry Fellas

Thanks for the coupon hellpop Got a Yellow Lantern Batman and Pharaoh today at the Watertown Kmart for myself and picked out a couple more for Christmas. Also, apparently an express TRU opened in that mall and found myself the highly sought after Supergirl / Lex 2-pack. Good day for the classics.

I was able to get both the figures I wanted. The Zombie from series 1 and the Spartan from series 2. I did end up feeling up a lot of bags to find the one I wanted..... wait a minute....

Totoro is in Toy Story?! Just looked up Castle of Cagliostro, I didn't know Miyazaki made a movie before Ghibli. I'll have to check it out, cheers. Kind of mixing up two threads, but just saw on a news site. It's a PS3 game designed by Studio Ghibli, looks pretty amazing (the graphics I mean, the gameplay looks a bit Pokemon-y in places). The PS3 version is made to look like Ghibli animation. Studio Ghibli only did work on the DS game of the same name coming out this holiday season. Miyazaki had a few great works before Ghibli. Another great one released in english is Panda! Go Panda!. More a Takahata Directed film but Miyazaki did all the animation. Very Late reply and kinda a Necro, but I have not been around as much and felt the need to post something.

The TRU Thing (prototypes I know, but it might turn out this way) is different then the regular wave 37 Thing. TRU Thing has a '4' on his belt where the wave 37 Thing has no '4'. I wonder if this will be how the figures come out.

Hopefully it will be I will see if I can find the UPC's for this set.

been wanting to see this again, I saw it when I was a kid, so i want to see it again now that I'm more older, but 20 bucks for the dvd seriously? Well, that is what one would expect from Disney and their "vault." You could try to track down the older english dub released by Fox Studio. There is a chance it may cost more though.

And if I address it to a Canadian relly they should be able to get it? It may take more then two months though.

-Pulls out the book of Necronocimon to raise this post from the Dead- Looks like another Ghibli Film will be coming to our North American Theaters. Under the Touchstone Banner, Disney will finally release Tales from Earthsea on August 13.

Iron Man wave will be hitting stores sometime within the next couple weeks. Probably not the exclusive wave, but it will be awesome to see minimates in retail stores up here in the North.

Just a little tip for the Canadians. When TRU has flyers that read 25% (or the like) off all marvel action figures, this is not secluded to just hasbro toys. It will include the marvel minimates as well. So far anyway, if it changes, I will let you all know.

I found myself going in cycles a lot in the past few years. It all started with minimates and just went screaming out of control from there. Bowen, GI Joe's, CCG's, Mighty Muggs, all sorts of stuff. My last big craze was DCUC, which I pretty much stopped cold turkey thanks to all those upcoming USA retail exclusives. Now that I have an actual plan for what the wife and I are saving up for, I find it easier not to get into new crazes. I do find it hard some nights and find myself planning ways to get new collections of stuff I don't really want. Or even need for that matter. That, and Once I found my Holy Grail of collecting (Turner Supergirl statue) my desire to collect notably took a dive. So, I am down to just collecting all sorts of things from Studio Ghibli (which a very friendly board member here helps me out with). Which I actually enjoy collecting. I can have fun with it and I don't feel the need to have EVERYTHING to feel my collection is satisfactory. Plus, it being very rare in North America, I can buy everything I see in person and really pick and choose what I purchase online. The big problem is that now I have tubs upon tubs and boxes upon boxes of stuff just sitting in storage. Oh well, maybe someday my own kids will love them or I can think of it as my own personal pension plan. It is a hard world out there when one feels the need to collect toys.... err, I mean collectibles.
