I just want Falcon.. but unless Marvel.com users are big fans of Super Hero Squad, he probably will not be making the cut. ..though he does show up in EMH and it looks like he will be a main cast member of the new Avengers animated series.. so.. there is hope. Also, I liked Songbird because she was a playable character in MUA2 and in the rare event my wife would play the game with me, she would always be Songbird. hmm.. looks like I was voting based on Hard Light Feathers.. weird. For the most part I would like to see Zachs picks make it.. if Falcon could somehow fit in there.

Zemo and wrecker for me. Someone needs to help me understand why a 5th version of Ghost Rider is getting so many votes.. Not trying to be a jerk.. Just seriously curious... I thought we already had a blue costumed version of the character. I'm really starting to think Falcon is far from solid.. Especially with the focus moving away from Avengers for a while.

Box set news?

Zach, you are the greatest thing to ever happen to MMMV. (and that is saying a lot, because there are some awesome people around here).

I bought the FF set mainly for the Spidey.

As I was purchasing mine.. there was a full case on the pegs, I pulled off the ones I was buying and stood there reading the back of the boxes.. I guy moved past me with a shopping cart and when I looked back up there were 3 left on the peg. These seem to be flying off the pegs here.. either that or evaporating. The movie was awesome and anything relating to it deserves to sell well. Tesseract Jewel or Infinity Mind Gem?.. you decide.

Why is Kang's face blue? Is everyone's face blue in Earth's future? Miry Clay.. help me out.

Ah.. EMH, I love that show. Just got back from seeing Avengers again.. Loved it even more. The Marvel bar is set very high.. Great time to be a fan!

Hulk, Abomination, Sasquatch, Wendigo 4-pack? SOLD! "The Monsters of Marvel" Plus, the U-Foes, as well as the Wrecking Crew, have both appeared on Avengers:EMH. Rex! I gotta agree Rex. I know the license is technically for the comics but it has been interesting to see how many characters from Avengers:EMH have made their way into minimate form in the past year (and through the rest of this year). It makes sense to lean towards characters that might be getting a little more mainstream recognition for the mass audience. At least, I like to think this is the case. Now.. bring on Plasma Wonder Man! ;P and.. back on topic.. er.. I picked up the rest of the Movie Avengers wave today. Kang will rule them all.

Picked up both box sets at lunch. At first, all I could see was the Grim Reaper set.. about 10 boxes deep on the shelf.. but in the VERY back was a Kang box set. I'm thinking they didn't realize the 2 cases were different and didn't put all the Kang sets out. An employee asked me if these were a big deal and I pointed to Kang and smiled, "why yes, yes they are". She said she has had calls on them and thinks they will go fast so she is grabbing 2 sets for her boys. I told her there was only one Kang pack left and she said there might be more in the back. They had rearranged their store since last I was there, putting all Avengers stuff right up front. I this she was right.. they will not last long (at least in SLC). Now, to get these home so Kang can conquer my Avengers Movie Mates (you know, getting ready for him to be the villain of Avengers 3).

Still looking forward to the "classic" version of KITT. Hot pursuit mode is fun, but I want the legit look.

Still no dice here.. but the store said if these are available on their website and they still don't have them in-store then they would order a set for me with free shipping or give me a free shipping voucher to order my own online. I'm pretty sure they'll have some out next week, but I must say: The Salt Lake City Disney Store has just earned my allegiance.

Interesting, wonder whether they'd say the same thing if you were in the store. General consensus is Disney staff, unlike their TrU counterparts, are actually very switched-on and helpful? Of course, their are exceptions to both rules! I called my local Disney Store (brand new in Salt Lake City) and they were over-the-top helpful. She took the chordless phone (different than a Power Chord, Favorite Chord or Chord-a-roy pants) with her into the stockroom to look for the box. They did have some Avengers product in but apparently no minimates yet. She did say they would be getting more product in and by 1:00 Thursday they would know exactly what was in stock. I've never had a TRU person ever be that helpful.

PM Sent. Night Flight Comics in SLC has Hill as the variant. Neither box (General or Hill) is labeled with the word variant. 1 case = 1 Hill. They charge 3 bucks more for the variants and it was priced as such. Now it sits on my desk at work.

Well thanks to The latest Avengers:EMH episode now I want to see a Rocket Racoon minimate.. And maybe some more GotG characters. Falcon and black/yellow Wasp need to be made first though.

Thanks for the heads up Zach! Can you tell us if a super miniature version of Ant Man has ever been talked about? ...either on an arrow or as a shoulder ornament or something? Silver surfer turn out so cool on galactus. Thanks

Loved the movie!!! Now the minimates need to show up at TRUs out west!

Checked again today.. still nothing at the Sugarhouse TRU in Utah. They do have their MvC3 minis mixed in the the Avengers Movie stuff... so at least someone recognized the name MARVEL on the package.
