I kind of find this attitude in fellow collectors reprehensible. You should buy something because you like the item or the character it represents, not so that you have bragging rights of "I have this and you don't, haw haw haw". Besides, it's not like the new release will be exactly the same, so you can still lord your Rare and Valuable Collectibles over others.... I agree with you. I've got them, but I still don't like it that others that want them don't and I don't mind giving up two slots in the DC Series to re-make and re-release these because the DC lines have been so awesome. They're whipping Marvel's ass up and down in an old fashioned curb-stomping. I want everybody to be able to get the stuff they want.

I'll trim the skin off the hat when my case comes in and either sharpie the plastic yellow or put a teeny bit of yellow paint on it IF my paint matches. If not, I'll just deal with the white. It doesn't bug me that much.

I hope they re-do 'em and that the MM is classic. New costume would be okay for later, but no classic MM is a big gap in a collection.

I think several of these would be neat, but I'd be pissed if they were made before other characters.

I very carefully made a Barry Allen by putting a head that I didn't want in the Flash mask and then very very very very carefully using an exacto knife to cut the whites of the eyes out of it. Then I put a Captain America head in it for blonde eyebrows and saw where the eyes matched up. They ALMOST did, but not quite. So I gently tugged the bottoms of the eyepeices down on the mask and then put superglue on the inside of the mask to make it stay pulled down. It works very nicely and now I have Barry. I also cut the green chest peice off of the torso/cape part of MM and it looks good as well. I hope they'll make these again soon so that everybody else can get them, but I hope that they'll make J'onn J'onzz a little greener and do no big chest peice and tweak his cape a little bit. I also would much rather get a Mirror Master or Captain Cold than a Zoom first.

My case SHOULD be in this week. I hope I don't get any duds. I'll be very upset if I do. I buy a case to use as custom or back-up parts in case something breaks from wear and tear... not from shoddy craftsmanship.

I second the desire for a Mudd and Norman. Or some of those robot babes that he had around the place.

My dad went to Memphis the other day and picked me up the last set they had at the comic shop over there that I go to when I'm in town. I got the Aquaman/Ocean Master set. It's fantastic as I knew it would be and makes me really wish that DC would stop with the painted figures and mold them in the color plastic that they primarily wear. I hope my case comes in next week so I can get Green Arrow and Wonder Woman. I'm suprised that there aren't more pics posted, though. Action scenes and piece-swaps and what not. And all you guys making water hands... what about Aquaman with his yellow gloves? You gotta remember your roots! Use Dr. Fate's... yeah, boy!

My two friends and I all got ours sent off yesterday. I hope I get something better than them! Nobody happend to get a couple of Captain America/Nick Fury sets that they didn't want, did they?

Does anybody know if this will work to remove the logo off of a green Emerald City minimate? Does it have problems with the transluscent plastic when you use it?

I posted a pic of Ollie in an arrow shooting pose at the beginning of this thread. Here it is again. Unfortunately, due to the chest piece and limitation of minimates, this is the closest one can get to a bow drawing pose with GA. I kinda figured as much but wanted to make sure. Damn, I'm antsy to get this set.

Can someone put Green Arrow in a arrow-shooting pose? Are there any problems with anyones?

Since I won't be getting these tomorrow (or for another week after, probably) I'd really like to know if I'll be able to whittle some stuff around and make a beardless-early Silver Age GA out of it. They're on Diamond's shipping list. Yeah, but when it comes to my LCS that doesn't count for much. They were on the invoice for series 2 and I didn't get those until 2 weeks later.

I wish my LCS would get them in this week, but they weren't on the invoice from last week. I hope I get 'em, though.

I didn't get my serires 2 in until last week because of stupid UPS delievery screw ups to my LCS, so it seems super quick for them to be coming in to me. Still, I can't wait to get them next week... IF UPS doesn't drop the ball again. What really kind of bugs me is the delay between now and July for series 4. I hope that gets moved up at LEAST a month.
